useless systems. No apparent interest in their customers - ie the pensioners. They have on line systems which seem to to be written by programmers (AI?) who have no experience of actually using their systems as first time users., eg after eventually managing to log into their system I tried to send a message via their contact form. It insisted that I gave a contact tel number (reasonable), but then wouldn't accept a Uk mobile number in the normal format, or with the international tel no format. I eventuaslly gave my home tel number, which it eventually accepted after deleting the leading zero!!

The level of service provided by First Actuarial can only be described as disgraceful. My wife took the decision to consolidate her pensions into a SIPP as she was seeking to diversify her investments. Funds from other providers were transferred smoothly and without any issues. Unfortunately the same cannot be said with First Actuarial, they are slow to respond, constantly contradict themselves and provide no support. First do not use an electronic transfer system, instead they rely on an outdated paper system. The transfer was requested 2 months ago, we are now being told it will take another 6 months to complete the process. Other providers completed their transfers in less than 2 months, why can't First work within these timeframes. First - you need to remember whose money it is and improve the service levels offered to your customers, your competitors manage this without any issues, it's time you followed their example. As another reviewer pointed out First have a 2.9 star rating and all reviews to date are 1 star?????

Very disappointed at the length of time taken to deal with an ordinary request regarding a Pension.
No responses to emails, never able to get someone on the phone, calls are returned, sometimes and generally a day later at best. I have no choice but to deal with this company but find it very frustrating to say the least.
