Terrible experience.
Terrible experience.
First Class Courier warned me not to use USPS for my purchases, as it is an unreliable courier. However, they have no control system, rejection protocol, or security in place to prevent receiving packages that still arrive through that service.
I bought a MacBook Pro, and the seller shipped it via USPS. USPS marked the package as “delivered” with an exact date and time. Yet, First Class claims they never received it, and their only response was, “We don’t work with USPS, so we’re not responsible.”
I wonder: does this mean anyone can drop off a package at their warehouse and it can simply disappear with no record, no verification, and no traceability? That is highly negligent.
In a previous case, I bought an iPhone shipped through UPS, a private courier. First Class did receive it and forwarded it to me in Peru — but what I received was completely different from what I purchased.
In total, I’ve lost over S/ 3,800 soles (approx. USD $1,000) between both cases.
To make things worse, I found out they removed their previous website where other users had also reported the same issues — most likely to avoid accumulating more negative reviews. That shows a complete lack of transparency and accountability.
They do not guarantee the reception, safety, or verification of packages, offer no solutions, and leave the customer completely unprotected.
I will never use their services again and I’m currently evaluating a formal complaint with Indecopi here in Peru.
