I have to say this bank on top of…

I have to say this bank on top of fraud. Unlike Chime, who waits till your bank account is emptied to notify you about a possible fraud issue, then says it will be 30 - 90 days to reconcile. First Community Bank stopped this attempt in it's tracks from the first hit. Not five transactions later. This was a relief after a recent rip off with Chime, as previously stated. First Community Bank has provided this top notch security, not once, but twice, before anything happened. I don't how they pegged it, but I'm so thankful they did. Another dodged bullet, thanks to FCB.

Complaint Against First Community Bank – Unfair Overdraft Fees & Poor Customer Service

To Whom It May Concern,

I am filing a complaint against First Community Bank for their unfair overdraft policies and unhelpful customer service.

Unfair Overdraft Practices
Unlike most banks that allow 24 hours to resolve a negative balance, First Community Bank charges overdraft fees in less than 12 hours. This gives customers little to no chance to correct their balance before being hit with a fee. When I asked customer service how their overdraft timing works, they claimed it was “random”—yet my experience proves it is consistently applied within 12 hours, suggesting a deliberate effort to maximize fees.

Customer Service Indifference
When I called to dispute the fee, I was told "It’s not the bank’s problem, it’s yours." No effort was made to help or explain their policies. When I decided to close my account, customer service showed no concern and simply responded, "Have a good day."

Resolution Requested
-I am requesting that First Community Bank:

-Refund overdraft fees unfairly charged within 12 hours.

-Provide transparency on their overdraft policy and timing.

-Be held accountable for misleading and dismissive customer service.

Their overdraft process feels predatory and designed to trap customers into multiple fees. I request a full review of their policies.

Sincerely,
Mostafa Hassan
