Reliable and punctual

Just saw the bus coming down the hill when going to the stop, I pelted it and hoped the bus would stop which it did 🙂 yay even though no one at bus stop and no one getting off....cheers Matt you truly are a star ⭐

I get the X4 and it's frequent and reliable sometimes the odd service gets missed out when they have to juggle things but not that often, there is the app so all good. Got charging points as well.

Disgusting company

Disgusting company. They don’t care. Buses don’t show with no explanation, you have people who finished work, mums with babies, females on their own all waiting for buses that do not show. And it’s multiple times on a daily basis. They have no care or concern whatsoever for there customers. Diabolical company.

Just the worst - expensive, inefficient, never on time, app always on the blink

First Glasgow are a fantastic example of how privatisation and corporate greed care nothing about customers and the public they serve.

Rude drivers, appalling service.

Glasgow - Extremely rude drivers for the most part, get annoyed if you ask them a simple question like "does this bus go to such and such?" Once had a driver not let me on a bus until another person who was "there before me" on despite me being the first person at that stop. Absolutely shocking service, this company is the definition of bare minimum.

I would give no stars in I could. Buses frequently don’t show up. They’re in the app then they vanish, leaving you stranded alone at a bus stop.
Frankly the unreliability of the service is putting people in unsafe situations.
Why is this shocking service allowed to continue?

Wanting the number 75 to get home…

Wanting the number 75 to get home walked to the bus stop the bus had just shut the door I waved my arm to hail the driver, he looked at me shock his head refused to open the door, the worst part he sat there for another minute because he was blocked in by 2 more buses, I wouldn't mind if I was on my own but I had my wife with me who hasn't been well this year in and out of hospital.... Very disappointed this is why I would rather drive......

Firstbus please sort this out as soon as possible

First bus app not giving an accurate reading of when the bus comes. The bus always comes way too early than it says. most of the time its not reliable. Never shows the stops on the map. Always results me being late to where i have to be👎. What is the point of the app 🤦.

Extremly bad service

1star left as you can t choose none.

They are closing complaints without answering to the questions asked.
Lately,drivers are unable to guide you to buy the right ticket....
You will not receive a refund even though they could check the app activity.You bring proof etc.
I suggest to pay attention and better not to use their app.
App not easy to use by sight impaired customers.
If you call the number to complain they will dismiss you without giving a reference no,is like you never contact them.
Extremly bad service.

Never trusting the first bus app anymore . App said a bus is coming at 3:47am but it never came and the next bus was in a hour and half. Why make an app for ppl to check the bus time when it’s never accurate.

I wish I could give a minus!

I wish I could give a minus!
I have spent more than an hour trying to make contact and get journey information both from the web site and the app neither of which were able to give me the information required!
Live chat not available and calls not being answered for 30mins or more.
It also looks like the bus I need to book for my deaf son is not running!
This has always been an appalling service and continues to be.
Unfortunately this is the service we have to rely on in our rural area.
So much for customer service 😡

Slow, and incredibly unreliable

Personally I have had many bad experiences with First Bus and few good ones. First Bus fails to relay information about diversions, cancellations and delays. The lack of integration on their app means it can't even tell you the most basic things such as these frequent diversions and cancellations. Recently, their performance have been especially poor, First Bus drivers have had to tell me and the other passengers to leave the Bus due to it being broken down. I am Appalled at the state of these subsidised bus companies, First Bus in particular.

Buses in Norwich are useless

Buses in Norwich are always late, or ridiculously early- making it too unpredictable to be useful. Sometimes it means that 3 buses of the same route turn up at the same time. Must be so ineffective and expensive to run.

How is this possible?

How is this possible?! I've been waiting at the bus stop for 20 minutes. Two buses left 2 minutes earlier. I only saw them from behind. They didn't even wait a second at the bus stop, and the next two didn't show up! I'm going to work and I'll be late. This is the first time in a year I've had to use your service! This is a disgrace!

Biggest joke


Once again, the 75 bus is running late... Cleve Rd at 01:26, then changed to 01:29. The app said four minutes, but the display at the bus stop showed thirteen minutes. Which one is correct?

The first bus keeps saying we’ve changed the timetable to improve the service... three times. However, the bus service is getting worse by the day.

It's always the same reasons:

1. Weather
2. Traffic
3. The bus broke down
4. No drivers

It's about time the management gets sacked and new management is brought in.
