I had a problem with my uv pond filter.
I visited Crawley branch and was greeted by Ronan and Mark they were extremely helpful polite and courteous.
They solved my problem immediately, sold me the new parts and I went away extremely happy with the overall experience.

I would highly recommend Maidenhead Aquatics at Whisby Garden Centre. I wanted information about how to introduce plants and fishes into my new pond. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They guided me through all the different options and the pros and cons about different plants. I was then left to explore and decide what I wanted. There was no pressure to buy!
Their customer service is excellent and I’m sure I will be using them again in the future. You’re all doing a fantastic job! Keep up the good work!

Outstanding service at Barnstaple today. My elderly mothers Oases pond pump had stopped working so we took it to the Barnstaple store. The 2 young gentlemen in the shop were extremely helpful and took the pump apart to see if they could rectify the issue. They tried to repair it but it had expired and we subsequently purchased a new one. They were cheerful and obviously enjoyed the challenge. They are a credit to the company and one reason why we will return in the future.

Maidenhead Aquatics in Wendover. We will never go anywhere else but here. Richard is wonderful and has helped us greatly over the last few years. Nothing is ever too much trouble and is always on hand with any questions we have had. We can't thank you enough!

I purchased my first marine setup from these guys in Wrexham. They were incredibly helpful, full of knowledge and happy to help. And have also offered to help me through the learning process. They didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't really need. So they're very trustworthy aswell. All in all, what a great experience and needless to say, I'm super happy. Thanks especially to Stuart and the rest of the staff. Absolutely awesome 👌

I went in to purchase a fish tank for my children and was very disappointed with the help the staff gave me.
I ask a couple questions and was offered no advice at all. Blunt answers from staff really dismissive.
I would not⁰ come back or recommend to anyone.
They lost a customer today.

Today I was at the Morden branch and was served and helped my a lady called caragh and she was very knowledgeable and helped me find the right fish and went above and beyond to help me. I normally go to the ashtead branch but as I was in the area I thought I'd pop in for a look. I brought 5 fish and they were kept in very good living conditions. I also think the ashtead branch is also very good and is also has very good fish living conditions. I always come to maidenhead aquatics for all my aquatics needs and I always will. The staff are always friendly in both branches and always knowledgeable.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND maidenhead aquatics for all the aquatics needs!!!!

The maidenhead aquatics at Pyle has the most god awful staff lazy not in any way customer friendly no knowledge they lost a very expensive sale as I went in there for a fishtank didn't want yo move off a stool while on phone couldn't answer questions I had to say how big the tank was as he was guessing I asked about ex display tank the other member of staff asked where the missing parts were the unenthusiastic one said didn't know so I would have to buy them to replace what they had lost that originally came with tank they never ask if you have loyalty card oh unless your a man they don't interact have conversations they never offer to help always the same 2 male staff awful yet the maidenhead aquatics at swansea shops are great especially the one at Pontardulais great service

I just wanted to take the time to let you know how much I truly appreciate the staff that were in the gillingham store on 22/06/2024 in the morning. We went in with an issue we had setting up the tank, and the staff member (I believe his name was Ashley) would not stop until we had a solution to our problem. I felt useless setting the tank up so went into the store for help. He worked through the issue we had with a pump and treated us like we were no trouble at all, absolutely above and beyond service from him and his colleague (a younger boy with brown hair). I left the store feeling so much more confident and that feeling will be remembered. I would love it if this message could be passed on to their management at the store, to let them know what a credit to the company they are.

Worst branch of Maidenhead Aquatics for sure, other locations are friendlier, more helpful and seem interested in customers. At Hare Hatch they have a rather dismissive & indifferent attitude and culture which runs through this branch. They seem to just want to sit down in their little office / staff room & have absolutely minimal interaction or engagement with customers.
Despite being our closest will not visit again!!

So I ordered a click and collect from my local store on 22nd April 2024 (and they had the product on the shelf) order number #000083196 . I then realised I didn’t need this item so I arranged for my wife to drop it off a couple of days later and get a refund. I was told that I couldn’t get that in store and that I had to send an email. My wife left the product with the manager to save me going back and forth and I sent the email as requested on the 30th April to which I got no response. This led me to ring the shop and speak with the manager who said he will send an email for me to chase. Two weeks in I was told a refund was on the way which still isn’t received to this day. The manager said he has been told they are sending it but still haven’t received my money back. The level of customer service from the click and collect department is very poor. The manager in the shop has been great but the company itself has let the experience down hugely! I feel I’m no closer to receiving my money but yet the product has been back in store for 5 weeks.

Bought a new tank and pump kit, had a problem with the pump/filter unit but when I went back to the King’s Lynn branch, Jamie and holly was both fantastic and sorted the problems straight away. I received fantastic service and they all are very friendly. I highly recommend them for anyone buying a new tank and kit
Many thanks both
Will

This place is great, I've been a regular customer for over three years now. Amazing service, knowledge and such great support when I've head aquarium emergencies, like NO2 spikes, fungal infections etc. One of my favourite things about this shop is how they look after my two young boys 3 & 6, which makes them always go on at me to go to visit the fish shop, which in turn gives me a great excuse to go more often and spend more money ;). All the staff at some point have gone out their way to go above and beyond. Also id like to mention the latest improvements to the shop look amazing.

Neil at Fishkeeper Stirling provided excellent well considered advice on dealing with a major green water problem. After Barley straw, various ‘greenaways’ all which improved nowt, the advice to introduce separate UV clarifier at 18w has worked wonders after 1 week. 5 star employee.

I have visited the Ashford store regularly over the past few years , and i cannot praise them enough.
Sam and the team are super helpful , my favourite shop by far. Ramsgate M/A is a close second .
Both great shops.

Bought from maidenhead in kidderminster, only 5 babies, went next day to get a few more. Their fish were quarantined. After about a week my big 20yr old fish were all dieing daily. Lost a lot. Heartbreaking finding my big dead fish every morning. They tried to blame my water( even though their fish were still quarantined). Bought a water kit. Nothing wrong with my water. The only person who was willing to help us as Alex at maidenhead Worcester but still kept dieing. We have since lost every single fish. Cost £200 to have pond filled in as I can't go though that again. Please don't buy fish from there. They really didn't care. Plus what the poor fish must have gone through. Alex was the only one who tried to resolve what was happening. But unfortunately it was too late as all my fish had been infected.
