Great experience and happy so far!

From start to finish the customer service has been fantastic, Andy P in particular has been very attentive and helpful throughout.
The installation was quick and the windows look brilliant, there is an immediate difference to the amount of outdoor sound being let it in which is great. I've done 4 stars simply because I've only had them for one day, so will up date as time goes on. But so far so good and would recommend!

After a few minor hiccups at the start of the work everything went very smoothly and the window fitters done a fantastic job. I can honestly say I'm very happy with the quality installation and finish.
Andy was always available at the office to contact if I had any issues or questions!!!

Great fitters

Great fitters. I was supposed to have our windows and doors replaced on the 14th of Jan for a period totalling three days. Two weeks before they called to ask if we were able to have them fitted a week early as a previous job finished early. I obviously said yes and the two lads that came a fitted them couldn't of been better. The weather was terrible, rain and cold so obviously kept them fueled with hot drinks and snacks. But they finished the job to a high standard and made an instant boost to my kerb appeal. Ill keep these guys in mind if I ever move again and need windows and doors doing again.

I strongly advise anyone considering Fitter Homes to look elsewhere.3

I strongly advise anyone considering Fitter Homes to look elsewhere. Despite their convincing sales pitch about superior customer service compared to larger firms, our experience has been a total failure of both product quality and basic legal accountability.

The Installation & Quality Issues Our windows were fitted on 28th July 2025. From the start, there was confusion over whether the dimensions were even correct, but he "adjusted" them to fit.

* Immediate Failures: The master bedroom window had a crack immediately upon installation and had to be replaced.
* Ongoing Issues: Months later, a second egg shape crack appeared in the back bedroom.
* Mould: We are now seeing significant mould growth that never occurred with our previous windows—which were over 40 years old. So much for "A+ rated uPVC."

The most appalling part of this experience is their refusal to honor the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These windows were installed less than a year ago (and the issues reported within six months), yet Fitter Homes is refusing to replace the faulty glass under warranty. They are attempting to shift the blame onto their "supplier’s guarantee" and charge me for the repair.

Despite multiple emails and a formal inspection in January—I have been forced to escalate this. I am now pursuing this matter through a third-party dispute resolution service to get the resolution we are entiltled to.

Don’t be fooled by the friendly sales team. If something goes wrong, they will abandon you and ignore your consumer rights. Avoid at all costs.

Good product & service

The fitter forgot to bring the parts (air vents) at the time of the installation but they quickly fix the issue in the following week. The communication of the office staff is excellent and it gave me a peace of mind.
I am also very happy with the products they installed. They are good quality with very good energy efficiency. The price was surprisingly lower than other companies after using recycling scheme.

Unacceptable experience, still awaiting a door that works and isn't damaged

Installation on 27th August, we quickly discovered deep gouges on the door, as well as several other scuffs on a supposedly new product. We provided comprehensive photographic evidence of all of this.

An inspector was eventually sent out, who clearly agreed to the point that he recommended new doors be provided to us.

On 24th September we were told the new doors were expected by the end of that week, and that the installation team would then contact us regarding a date. It is now 6th October and this has still not happened.

To top it all off, as of today the door has stopped closing properly, and so clearly it was not fitted well enough. I emailed info at fittergroup.co.uk, which is the email address given on their website for complaints, and my email bounced back to me. At this point I wish we could just get a full refund and go with someone else.

Our doors arrive fully wrapped from the manufacturer, and they are only unwrapped on site during installation. This means any imperfections can unfortunately only be identified at that final stage. However, once the issue was noticed, a replacement door was ordered straight away and our team followed the correct process to get this resolved for you.

We also apologise for the delay you experienced between the inspector’s visit and the replacement being fitted. Although situations like this are unavoidable on rare occasions, they should always be resolved promptly — and we’re pleased to confirm that your door has since been fully replaced and the matter resolved.

Unprofessional

Yes you have send one email about the needs to confirm the appointment exactly on the same day.
I have 1 missed phone call with no information about the cancellation.
No mail or not voicemail or message.
For anyone is easy to miss one phone.
Customers are busy on the same day making sure they reach the appointment on time too.

Negative reviews are to improve customer service standards.

Fabulous service

Fabulous service , right from first call to end, our two fitters were brilliant, polite and friendly, happy to comply with our needs, tidy and professional . Would highly recommend. Impressed with the outcome. Highly recommended.

Very smooth procedure from placing the order to completing the installation. Sam was very friendly and knowledgeable and the presentation was very informative. The survey was carried out efficiently the next day by Brian and the installation was quick, perfectly done and the fitters were polite, hard working and friendly. They completed the job in a day and cleaned after themselves like nothing had happened. I would recommend them to anyone with pleasure.

A five star experience.

I have had a fantastic experience with this company. The surveyor was friendly and knew his job inside out. The fitters spent over nine hours in my home to complete the job in the day. They were very efficient and skilled at their job. They used dust sheets, hoovered and cleaned the windows. My new front door is absolutely perfect. I am so happy I chose Fitter Windows I can't thank them enough. My Son and neighbours also like the products I had fitted.

Had a salesperson come round on said date to estimate of cost of new windows small UPVC x 3.
I gave a deposit £1000+ but after speaking with family was convinced to cancel order, did so by email and attempted phone call ...no response to either and no teturn of my deposit. Would never advice to use this company

To clarify, after you signed the contract, we scheduled a survey appointment as part of our standard process. When our surveyor arrived, you informed us that you were not available, and we had to rearrange the appointment. Upon calling to reschedule, you then informed us that a relative had unexpectedly arranged and installed new windows at your home over the weekend without your knowledge, and you requested to cancel your order with us.

As per the contract provided to you at the time of signing, the cancellation process requires a signed cancellation notice within the 7-day cooling-off period. We did not receive this, but upon receiving your email, we responded accordingly and took the necessary steps to help you.

We have always been available to speak to and have when you called spoken to you.

We want to assure you that we do not pressure anyone into making a purchase—we were invited to provide a quotation, and you made the decision to proceed at the time. While we completely understand that circumstances can change, we believe your review does not accurately reflect the situation and these such review can be damaging to a business and unfair.
