Always excellent

I've been a number of times & the food is always good. I had a slight issue with the order last time, and I must say the way customer services handled it was impeccable. When things go wrong, these places show their true colours, and I was not disappointed. Full marks!

Horrible Franchise - Bad Customer Service

Me and my partner had placed an order through UberEats for Five Guys in Cheshunt, where we had selected what we wanted through the app.
The order came and the chips were stone cold, and the hamburger I ordered, came with mayo, which I'm allergic to. I checked back through the order to make sure I hadn't accidentally selected it. And I was correct.

Called up the franchise, and explained the situation to whoever picked up the phone, and requested if a new burger could be sent to me, considering they messed up. She was quite rude and said there is nothing they could do and I would either have come and pick up or request a refund. Baring in mind, me and my partner live 20 minutes away.

So my partner has had no choice but to go and collect the burgers. When he arrived, he had spoken to someone about the situation again and they were happy to remake fresh burgers, however my partner requested for them to remake the whole order (not including the milkshakes) considering it was already stone cold, when it had gotten to us.

Whilst he was waiting he had sat down at one of the tables, and the cleanliness was disgusting, the tables were covered in stains and sauces where people had previously eaten and they hadn't bothered clearing it up at all.

They had remade both of our burgers but hadn't given us fresh chips, to which we thought was completely unreasonable, and the server believed my partner was putting up an argument and then they threatened to call the police on my partner for "being argumentative" when he was requesting for a fresh batch of chips to be made for us considering they had messed up my burger and our food was cold. They had refused to do so, and started to call the police on him, so he has had no choice but to leave with just the burgers.

Would not suggest or recommend anyone to go to the Cheshunt franchise, clearly no training, no hygiene, no customer service at all (Trust me I know - as I work in customer service) Fast food places need to stop hiring useless, miserable teenagers who clearly can't do one job.

They advised you correctly by asking you to contact Uber Eats directly on this occasion - it is not within our protocols for the customer to come back into the store, and we are not required to remake the full order.

I have been going to a few five guys…

I have been going to a few five guys and always nice food. So I said to my mum we’re going into this branch for some dinner well we had two bacon burgers one portion of chips and two strawberry milkshakes shakes. The bacon was so burnt it was like a surf board and the service was not the best the lady was nice but the cook had a attitude problem and it was so cold in the branch you could see your breath and they was very stingy with there chips not very happy

disgusting service

disgusting service at the chesthunt store
got the wrong order? ''not our problem , talk to just eat. been given sombody elses food and allergic? not our problem , talk to just eat. complete cowards in terms of managment. unwilling to make the smallest effort to sort any problerms out. im guessing thats the same effort that goes intro food hygeine,cleaning and the food ect. very simple intelligence levels going on at this store for sure . im disabled and now going hungry tonight because i literally have no other options. trully beyond disgusting treatment of a customer. oh and to top it all my order had alchol in it which means they delivered an age restricted product to a stranger without checking ID. its just complete and total incompetance in terms of managment. doesnt give two hoots about anyone but himself. Given your attitude today , i dread to think what standards you keep in the kitchens, staff and facilities. further more because i no longer trust your cleanliness and low effort cretin managment style, i will no longer be trusting the food.

not once did i ask for a refund from you. i asked for the food to be remade because as i pointed out previously , im disabled, could not eat someone elses order and would have to go hungry. You are just lazy and incompetant. Now foirgive me if im wrong but considering that its you, not just eat responcible for the food, i think i was talking to the right people imo? or do i need to talk to just eat about that too ?
So I make a post complaining about you doing the bare minimum to help with problems and you geniuses think it’s clever to come on and say in front of everyone “ not our problem , talk to just eat “. Talk about proving my point RIGHT?
Like I said. the issue is , lazy.can’t be arsed management . what better way to illustrate my point by replying with the exact same attitude. its comical, Also with regards to under age sales, negligence on your part leading to a sale is still your fault . you have to prove you did everything to prevent it and youve literally sat there and done F all. but keep digging that hole in front of your customers why dont you . you literally just did exactlyy what ive claimed youve done in public . cretin......

So what did you do on this occasion? exactly! so youve just admitted to not following your agreement . absolute clowns. you literally made zero attempt to do anything to help. you're delusional, blaming everyone else but yourse;f as your other replies show. in fact you served bacon to a vegetarian in one review and blamed the bacon on your delivery partner as usual.
bottom line is 'this is their attitude'' , i wouldnt trust the food around people with that same attitude. working by five guys logic, im sure they will blame food poisioning on just eat next. and when it transpires later that lazy kitchen staff didnt follow simple instructions im sure that will also be just eats fault despite the issue being with 5 guys lazy , dont care attitude. the issue is very clearly already at manangment level so its not unreasonable to exspect the same from the people under them handling food. hope this helps people make up thier mind anyway.

Brookfield Cheshunt are doing it right

I should have written this review sooner.
After multiple orders from Five Guys in Cheshunt Brookfield. The food is always delicious and consistent as you find across the chain.

I would like to thank the team at Brookfield especially as they are genuinely so friendly and I would like that to be recognised. They make me feel special every time I visit.

I wish I could give names, but no need really as honestly every team member there including the manager are awesome. Thanks for the great service.

Terrible food

Ordered via app, delivery. Friday 26 January 2024. This is our 4th time ordering from 5guys, Cheshunt. 4 burgers & chips, normally no problems, it’s always a long wait for the delivery, but we put that down to it’s popularity and busy time. But this time Very disappointed , chips were cold, really cold. , cold burgers pink in middle and buns cold, on my third bite of my burger out came a long blonde hair. It’s not a cheap burger £68. It just wasn’t acceptable this time. Not sure I’ll be ordering again.
