Account restricted with no real human support
I have been a freelancer on Fiverr for 8 months and genuinely loved the platform until my account was restricted. I am a Nigerian freelancer based in Lagos and I have been trying to verify my identity for days now but the system keeps blocking me.
I have submitted 3 support tickets (#14454266, #14459687, #14461833) and every single time I receive the same automated bot response without any real help. When I complained on Twitter, two agents responded saying support would reach out soon but it has now been 3 days and I have heard nothing.
I have a valid government issued ID and I am ready to verify my identity but nobody is helping me do that. My account username is loveth_opeyemi.
I am not asking for special treatment I just want a real human being to review my case and help me complete verification. Fiverr has been a life changing platform for me and I do not want to lose it over a verification issue that nobody is helping me resolve.
Please Fiverr assign a real agent to my case.

Fiverr is a fraud and scam company. They try to defraud buyers and protect scammers posing as sellers. I placed an order with royalxz, and after payment, they sold me some website that didn't work. I filed a report with Fiverr for a refund, and shortly after, my account was banned. Royalxz also uses the name Raju; apparently, Fiverr allows scammers and fraudsters to create more accounts, and they collaborate with fraudsters. This is a fraud and scam company. This also says enough about Fiverr itself. They are simply fraudsters. Never buy anything here! And stay away! Its also found out fiverr is marked as fraude company now..
Excessive spam and lack of security filters for new sellers
Dear Fiverr Support Team,
I am writing to formally express my deep frustration regarding the VERY POOR security and quality of the leads I have received since joining the platform a month ago.
To date, I have received only phishing attempts or spam. As a new seller, I am finding it impossible to use the platform effectively when I am constantly targeted by bots asking for my personal email or sending fake payment links.
While I am diligent in reporting and blocking these accounts to maintain my Response Rate, it is UNACCEPTABLE that your automated filters are allowing such a high volume of fraudulent activity to reach my inbox!
This situation is not only a waste of time but also creates a poor professional environment for those trying to build a legitimate business.
I would like to know:
What measures is Fiverr taking to protect new sellers from this wave of spam?
Why are these accounts not being flagged before they contact sellers?
I hope to see a significant improvement in the quality of the interactions on the platform, as this current experience is leading me to consider alternative marketplaces.

This company has very fradulent practices. Sellers from foreign countries are often the victims. Even if you've been a seller for years, sometimes the phone verification to withdraw your earnings don't work on purpose. So they keep your money, and the only was to use it is to buy from other sellers.

Once the orders were completed, I discovered that he had planted a virus on my website, causing it to stop working after a few weeks. I reported it to Fiverr, and less than an hour later, my account was placed on restricted. It is truly scandalous; Fiverr protects scammers and uses them to defraud you as a buyer. A truly dirty scam website. I used to place more than 100 orders here. You have truly become a backward, idiotic scam site. Stay away from here as a buyer!!! I am deeply disappointed with Fiverr Support. My account is restricted, and I am waiting for my 90-day withdrawal. I have been trying to reach support for 6 days (Ticket #14435783) just to unlink an expired Payoneer account. No human is responding, and my tickets are being merged/closed without resolution. This is my hard-earned money, and Fiverr is making it impossible to access it. I expect an immediate resolution.
Update: Support is merging my payment tickets into account suspension tickets and ignoring the fact that my withdrawal method is expired. They are effectively blocking my access to funds after 90 days.

Fiverr requires phone verification BEFORE any withdrawal can be initiated. Because I can't access that number, I'm stuck in a catch-22:

• Apr 20 (today): Still ZERO emails from the account recovery team
Impact:
I rely on this income for essential living expenses. This isn't just frustrating, it's causing genuine financial hardship. Five business days with no resolution path is unacceptable.

I've been a professional freelancer for many years with only the highest quality work and proven methodologies. After wasting far too much time and money on this garbage platform, I have one message: NEVER create a seller account on Fiverr.
This platform is a total rip-off. Your money is NOT protected at all. Buyers can scam you right after delivery, open fake disputes, claim "not as described" even when you over-delivered, and Fiverr will almost always screw the seller and side with the buyer. I've lost hard-earned cash multiple times because of their biased, useless dispute system.
Zero real protection for sellers. You pour your expertise, experience, and soul into premium gigs, and Fiverr leaves you completely defenseless. Their "Level" system is a pathetic joke — you grind for years to build reputation, only for Fiverr to favor new accounts and paid promotions over actual quality and experience.
They steal 20%+ of your money and give you nothing in return except stress, unfair treatment, and constant risk of losing everything you've worked for.
If you're a serious freelancer with real skills and high standards — run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. Fiverr is designed to exploit experienced sellers like me while babying lazy and dishonest buyers.
Use ANY other platform. Upwork, your own website, direct clients — literally anything is better than this trash.

Firstly, I just want to say the people I interacted with were genuinely amazing. Every seller I spoke to was helpful, responsive, and professional. It actually made me excited to use the platform and do business there.
Unfortunately, the system itself completely ruined that experience.
After making just a few enquiries to compare options for one order, my account was permanently suspended. As a real person simply trying to choose the best seller, being flagged and blocked like that is honestly shocking.
I followed up with two emails to try and resolve the issue, but received no real support or willingness to review the situation properly. There was no meaningful explanation, no flexibility, and no attempt to distinguish genuine users from actual spam.
It’s disappointing because the people on the platform are great, but the system behind it is overly aggressive and ultimately drives real customers away.
A platform that treats legitimate users this way doesn’t deserve the business it’s losing.

I cannot recommend Fiverr highly enough. I have used Fiverr’s platform for over seven years, working with different freelancers on a variety of projects for my business and book.
Over that time, most of my experiences have been highly positive, which is why I continue to return to the platform.
Recently, I had an issue with an order where the delivered work did not match the agreed scope. I contacted Fiverr Customer Support explaining the situation, and within a short time I received a professional and thoughtful response from a support agent named Alex.
Alex reviewed the details, acknowledged my concerns, explained the correct steps to protect the order while it was in revision, and outlined my available options clearly. Throughout the process, support was responsive, fair, and easy to communicate with.
After further review of the freelancer’s revised sample, I no longer felt confident proceeding. Fiverr then assisted in resolving the matter appropriately, and the order was cancelled.
What stood out most was that when something went wrong, Fiverr did not ignore the issue. They responded quickly, communicated clearly, and helped guide the matter toward a fair outcome.
No freelance platform can guarantee every hire will be perfect, but what matters is how problems are handled. In my experience, Fiverr has strong customer support, a solid resolution process, and many talented freelancers available.
For that reason, I would happily recommend Fiverr and will continue using the platform.

I’ve been working on this platform since 2019 and reached Level 2 Seller status, but my gig was suddenly banned without any clear or reasonable explanation. When I reached out for clarification, I didn’t receive a proper response or any details about the issue.
This lack of transparency is extremely frustrating, especially for long-time sellers who have invested time and effort into building their profiles. Based on my experience, I can’t confidently recommend this platform to others.Totally scammers for sellers money.
Gave 5 star review to freelancer and the tip she deserved, they didn't pay for her honest work
I hired a freelancer on Fiverr who delivered outstanding work — recruiting affiliate partners for my project, setting up a full marketing campaign, creating banners, and onboarding affiliates. I gave her a 5-star review and added a tip on top of the payment because she genuinely went above and beyond.
That was April 3rd. Today, 16+ days later, she still hasn't received a single cent. (it is over 20 days now)
Fiverr restricted her account without any explanation. Their support team (agents Mathias and Supervisor Marlon) closed multiple tickets, refused to provide any timeline, and ultimately told me they have "no new information or steps to offer." They even suggested I just find another freelancer — as if that resolves the fact that a person who did her job perfectly is sitting without her earned money.
The damage doesn't stop there. The affiliate partners she recruited withdrew from my project when they found out she hadn't been paid. Her reputation and mine have both been damaged by Fiverr's actions.
I have now filed formal complaints with the Irish Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman (FSPO), the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC), the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), and the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net).
Fiverr collects money from clients, blocks freelancers without explanation, and keeps the funds. That is not a platform issue. That is an ethical failure.

The sellers on Fiverr delivers over the weekend without finishing the job and the delivery marked as completed without approval of the buyer on Sunday. Hey! Please! The job is not done by the sellers. The seller did not touch the job, delivered and is automatically marked as completed on Sunday. The money is lost and Fiverr do nothing about it!

1. Their mobile app has a BUG that blocks Gig price below $20. Result: $0 earnings, 0 orders, 1 impression in 30+ days for me.
2. Fiverr DELETED my first support ticket after 48 hours with no reply.
3. Their AI support HIDES the live chat box and forces you to either:
A) Wait 72 hours for another ticket that will be ignored, OR
B) Pay $29/month for 'Seller Plus' to talk to a human
I am from Pakistan with ONLY an Android phone. I refuse to pay $29/month to fix a bug that Fiverr created.
I have screenshots of the AI forcing Seller Plus and have filed complaints with the FTC and Better Business Bureau for financial extortion.
