DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

They set up a direct debit without our consent and withdrew funds after we had already paid our invoice in full. We are still owed $1,659.02 and have received no resolution.

Communication has been extremely poor. We dealt with Reza, who repeatedly failed to understand a very simple email, which only added to the frustration.

Despite multiple attempts to resolve this, we have had no meaningful response.

We have now escalated the matter to the ACCC.

Customer service is completely non-existent. Avoid this company at all costs.

Horrible pushy, rude company & customer service

A representative from Fleetcard called my company out of the blue a few weeks back. They asked if i already utilised a fuel card service and i stated i did, which company and that i got a discount with that company. They went on to say “i don’t think you are getting a discount because that company doesn’t give customers discounts”. I was immediately uninterested because i didn't appreciate that response.. i pay the bills, i know if i get a discount or not! Then they continued to try to sign me up to Fleetcard and “reserve” some fuel cards for when I continue the sign up process. I told them to send through some info so i can take a look at what they actually offer.
I got the email, read through and was not interested in signing up, i emailed them back.
That afternoon.. they rang again asking how i went with looking over the email, i said i had emailed back to say not interested and they played dumb, i continued to tell them that i was not interested and they asked me to send through a recent bill from my current fuel card so that they could see the discount we get, i said okay just to get them off the phone..
i emailed again to say, we are not interested!!
I never heard back
Then i got another again phone call a few days later, they played dumb again stating they hadn’t received my email!! But as soon as i mentioned i had emailed, they found the email within 2 seconds.. makes no sense
They are so persistent on us signing up, and actually told me “i dont agree with you that you would be getting a discount currently”
They are so incredibly rude and pushy.. no way would i sign up even if i did think i could get a better discount! Horrible company..

Horrible company to go through they…

Horrible company to go through they need a lesson in customer service and response, if I could give them 0 stars I would. One of their customer service representatives fabricated information that was never said and even though there’s email trail to prove the lies she made up they still won’t take accountability for it and won’t respond no matter how many emails to you. Highly advise businesses to read reviews first before deciding on them

Good idea, poorly executed. Poor customer service and disproportionate fees

Very good concept and product, unfortunately, a poorly run business.
Crazy high fees for any misstep or departure from the agreement.
I had setup a direct debit request to avoid the $178 + interest charge late fees, for being a day overdue on the bill, they clearly didn't set up the direct debit and they still have the nerve to sting me with the fees. After paying the bill (less the erroneous fees), the next month has the erroneous fees carried forward, plus another fee for not paying the fee. All this while failing to respond to my emails in an attempt, on my part, to resolve any issue.
I unfortunately think that the poor communication is a part of the business model and creates this cycle of 'automatic' additional fees.
The idea of using any servo for a fleet of vehicles and having all of the receipts and figures together in one report is amazing. Most of the fuel savings they offer on sign up quickly dry up and the add in some additional fees (like $3.50 per transaction at BP), which turn a small a little win into a little loss. The card fees go from the introductory offer of $1.50 up 400% to $6/card/month, which can be notable for a smaller user like myself (not a big deal if you have a large account).
I read the large amount of poor reviews before signing up and naively thought that if I play by the rules etc that I could wield the Fleet Card to my benefit... alas, the reviews are spot on. Good reviews for good product, bad reviews from those who have ever had to deal with them to resolve any issue or missed a bill payment.
I think for larger customers, this product could be workable. For anyone spending less than $5k-$10k on fuel a month, the fees are just prohibitive. I really wanted it to work for my business, but sadly, could not.

Great and Easy-to-Use Fleet Card Service

We’ve had a great experience using this fleet card service. It’s very convenient, easy to use, and helps us manage fuel and vehicle expenses efficiently. The setup process was simple, transactions are clear, and the reporting makes tracking costs much easier.

Customer service has also been very helpful and responsive whenever we’ve needed assistance. Overall, a reliable and well-organised service that makes fleet management much easier. Highly recommended!

Fleetcard is an absolute rip off

Fleetcard is an absolute rip off. Keep away from them. Not only do you not save that much (you save just as much with a Woolies Everyday Rewards Card) but if you are late paying the bill, man oh dooly, they really slog you. They are not out there to help you, they are there to take every cent they can from you.

Fleetcard is a total scam

Fleetcard is a scam. They are liars and thieves! I wish I had read these reviews before signing up.
Firstly I was told that they would save me money in my fuel bill, but the one purchase that I made with them was the most expensive fuel that I have ever purchased.
I was 1 day late with my payment of $110.83 when I was overseas on holidays and was charged $103.94 in fees!!!! $95.00 late fee for 1 day plus + 8% interest on the outstanding amount Plus 24.00% per annum interest!
I wish that I had read the reviews beforehand.

Please read!!!

Please read this and the following reviews, they are all true. You will get fees every step of the way. I owed $17 and was charged over $400 in fees, overdue fee even though i was on direct debit??? interest, over limit fee $108.32 and then disnhonour fee of $50...how when it was on them to direct debit. Am taking them to ACCC. You have alimit you give them, mine was $1500. you would think that means when it hits this much the card doesn't work...no it just means when you step over this limit they charge you through the roof. Set your limit to $5000 but then they wont let you. Terrible customer service and extremely rude, probably becasue the poor staff deal with angry customers all day, that would make me bitter as well

WARNING: FleetCard Survives on $100 Penalties, Not Service

Horrible company, horrible customer service, with bullshit fees every step of the way. I had to pay extra $100 of administration fee because I spent "over the limit", ($500 limit) which there's no restriction and the card does't get denied/rejected. Talking to the customer service they told me that I was supposed to be the one watching out for my limit on the platform so I'm not charged extra, can you believe that? No williness to help, or to negotiate it. Paid 1 day late?! BOOM, another $100 fee!!! Absurd!! Complete rubbish, and the whole business model is getting money by charging stupid fees. I'm furoius! DO NOT SIGN UP ANYTHING WITH THEM!!!

It is pretty much a scam

It is pretty much a scam. If you regularly like paying $550 for $340 worth of petrol then I recommend them. That is the sort of value they are offering! Otherwise, I would look elsewhere!
