Be carefull

We bought an occasion from Flexicar. We knew we were not buying a new car and we didn’t expect a perfect car. We did however expect a lot more for a 20k car. The seller, Marc, said that the car would be delivered like new. The opposite was true. Not clean, the backseat was not repaired as promised and tires low on pressure. The car was shaking when driving above 80 km/h. The panoramic window makes noise which means it does not close well. We brought the car back to a flexicar garage twice. It was there for a week and when we asked about it 1 week later, nothing was repaired or taken care of. After the second time (which means the car was there another week) the car wasn’t shaking anymore. Client service in Madrid is useless, rude and they hung up on me. To this day we haven’t received the “permiso de circulación”. Never again buying from Flexicar.

I sold my car to Flexicar

I sold my car to Flexicar, and Francisco from the Badalona branch was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly helpful, positive, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Thank you so much for the great service! I highly recommend Flexicar! Especially Badalona branch! :)

Visited Flexicar today looking for a…

Visited Flexicar today looking for a small car. Salesman found one on the computer, right price, ideal car, asked about guarantee was told yes 3 years, said thats good for a second hand car. The salesman proceeded to put my details in the computer, all of a sudden price had increased by €2000, €1600 for guarantee no cost was mentioned when asked about guarantee, €390 for delivery from Madrid to Coin, €390 for paperwork, change of ownership etc. I think these price should be included in the price displayed on the car. Anyone visiting Flexicar should be aware of hidden charges.

Stress, silence, and zero accountability — my Flexicar experience

I’m sharing these so others don’t go through the same stress. If you’re reading this before buying — consider yourself lucky. Walk away.

Whatever they write in response to this review — ignore it and understand that, of course, they’ll try to defend themselves any way they can. But they already have plenty of negative reviews — and that speaks for itself.

They sell stress, not cars. And in my case, that stress turned into real emotional exhaustion — bordering on depression. No one should have to feel this way after buying a car.

Don’t waste your time and money. Save your nerves. If I could rate this company from the very beginning, I’d give it minus zero — that’s how bad it was.

Disgusting service. No respect, no transparency, no accountability.

I waited three weeks for the car after full payment. I had it for just two weeks — and on the third drive, it broke down. Five warning lights appeared on the dashboard. The car was taken to their garage under the one-year warranty. I asked three times for an official diagnostic report — they ignored me. Instead, they sent WhatsApp photos of the battery.

They didn’t provide an official report — just a piece of paper saying the battery had been replaced. That same paper stated the car was petrol — even though it’s clearly diesel. Such a mistake shows a complete lack of attention and professionalism. It took them two weeks to replace the battery — a job that normally takes one hour. First they said the battery was new, then new but defective. I never received a single clear answer.

They kept repeating: “You have a one-year warranty,” “The car is old,” “People die too.” Not sure what connection they think exists between people and cars — but it was bizarre, insensitive, and completely unprofessional. A warranty doesn’t justify a breakdown two weeks after purchase.

They hide repair details, avoid explanations, and rush everything — just to push the car onto the buyer. They send the diagnostic report only after you’ve collected the car — so they can write whatever suits them. In my case, that’s exactly what happened: everything was marked as zero, as if there had been no problems at all.
I sent six complaint emails — not a single reply. No one explains anything. Not before the sale, not after. Just silence. Several features were missing or never mentioned — like the rear camera and the spare tyre. Later I found out that many cars now come without a spare — but there was a clear space for one in the boot, and no one warned me.

When I asked for the official complaints book, they refused. They said they didn’t have one.

No service. No truth. No responsibility. No honesty.

Do not trust this company

Do not trust this company. Told them I had been offered a figure to sell my car so said that they would match it as they would sell it quickly as it had only 4,000 on the clock. I did choose to leave my car and get payment when it was sold, in the end I had to take a lower offer of 1.000 and was told would get my money with in 7 days it took nearly 2 weeks. Having send 2 Complaint letters and a chase up, Of course they did not Reply

Warning stay away

Warning stay away
They took my money, couldn't compleat on the sale and refuse to send it back even though they said they would pay it in full, they stop replying to you. I think there hoping I go away.
Don't bother emailing clients@ flexicar.es or info@ flexicar.es
As they wont reply ( I have tried 8 times)
I am about to take legal action.

You can threaten me with defamation all you like but I have the proof for everything stated above so does my Lawyer, which is all factual.
09/09/25 i was told by your sales representative David i will have a full refund as it was not my fault, on 12/09/25 I was told it was getting processed and sent bank details.
22/09/25 David told my Lawyer it will be with me within 10 days.
It is now 08/10/25 and no one is replying to my emails and messages and I do not have my money.
How is that defamation?
I will be more than happy to provide more evidence if you bothered to reply.

FLEXICAR KILOMETER FRAUD !!!

FLEXICAR KILOMETER FRAUD !!!
I purchased a fiat 500e with flexicar barcelona and had it deliverd to la linea.
The fiat was advertised with 10560km.
On the signed purchase contract was stated 10560km.
I paid in full and when the car finally(4 weeks) was deliverd, the car had 18200km on it.
During the waiting period i checked the car on carfax, it told me it had 18000km. on the car..... i asked flexicar about it but they said dont worry carfax makes misstakes and they dubble checked.
However it was deliverd with 18200km. I asked them how this is possible and that the contract and advertisement cleary states 10560km. There answer was sorry it had to be miles!!! ( still not sure why a european car would have miles on it, espaicially when it was first registard in germany and its last inspection clearly shows 16870km)
However after more then 2 weeks flexicar has not responded. I have send to all its email adresses an email explaining the complaint and adding all documents.... NO answer....!!! No one takes responsibility.
This looks like kilometer fraud from Flexicar.
Please be very carefull with flexicar. You are warned.

Don't pay up front !!

Back in July 2025, we decided to buy a car via Flexicar.

We quickly agreed on the model and were told it was a German imported car and therefore they had to register the car in Spain, which could take a few weeks, but assured us buying an imported car was better because of extra accessories etc.

We agreed to the terms and paid the car in full on the 2nd of August. After a few weeks we began to follow up but was met with one excuse after another, holiday in Spain, car had a damage (that we were not informed about before) that needed to be fixed, registration is dragging out, the car is back in the garage (with no information of why).

Now it has almost been 7 weeks and I finally had enough and told Flexicar that I want the car this week or a full refund.

Their respond "They don't have the original data sheet of the car"

And after more than 6 weeks of waiting they still can't even tell us when it will be ready.

They are now pushing the blame to us, lying that they told us the car had a problem with the paperwork which we have clear documentation that isn't the case.

UPDATE: We were finally told the car was ready to be picked up at a Flexicar branch in Malaga.

The personal gave us the documents and the car keys and asked us to check the car.

Very disappointed we could quickly find massive amounts of rust in places water would never reach unless the car had been in a flood, the sea or similar.

For clear signs of water damage to a car, you have to look for rust in 3 places. Bolts and clips in the engine, under the dashboard and the seat mounts. We found rust all those places. We have photographs of everything as evidence.

We went straight back into the office and addressed this, the two guys refused to even listen and said we bought it via a different Flexicar branch and therefore they wanted nothing to do with it. Even though they literally were the ones handing us the keys and documents 10 minutes before.

We stood firmly that we didn’t want the car which got one of the staff to start threatening us that he would call the police if we were going to leave the car on their property. I have this on video !

I told him he could call whoever he wanted, we still wouldn’t take the car. This resulted in the second guy approaching us aggressively walking right up to the face of my wife and myself saying this wasn’t their problem.

This made us walk out of the shop without further discussion, but we left the car, keys and documents at the office of Flexicar.

The callcenter of Flexicar blames the rust on salt on roads in Germany which is absolutely ridiculous. All modern cars are designed to withstand both water and salt on roads in the parts that naturally would be contaminated by any of them.

Now reading all the other terrible reviews about this company, I can imagine the headache we will have to go through to get our money back.

At least my lawyer will be making good money denouncing Flexicar for selling a car guaranteed to be in tip top shape when it fact it was severely damaged by water.

Take my advice, don’t trade with this company if it were to be the last thing you would ever do…

Flexicar – zero accountability, endless runaround

I have now tried with six different employees at Flexicar – including their garantía email, their postventa email, and their cliente email. It makes no difference. No one takes responsibility, and every time the answer is the same: “you must write to our client mail.”

I have genuinely tried everything to resolve the issue with my BMW 118i, which still has the same defect that Flexicar acknowledged at delivery. Instead of taking action, I am just sent in circles, from one contact to another, with no solution ever offered.

This is not professional service. It is a complete lack of accountability.

If you are considering buying a car from Flexicar – don’t. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that actually respects its customers.

No service. Not professional.

Very non service minded.
Car delivery was promised on a date, arrived a day late after much dishonesty, and then the driver tried to drop off car 50 km away from us! Instead we had to drive the driver home!
Flexi Car did not send original ficha técnica with car. Car arrived only with photo copies of it. Then they had hostile attitude when we asked for the originals. Sent nothing after request. End result is us going to Civil Guard filing complaint against them.

The flowchart of the organization not clear. Nothing in sync. Telephone not answered at help line given. Insurance promised seems a bit bogus. They are mandated to give one year, but like extracting teeth to use. Tried to get promised replacement car when the car got taken for a week, but that didn't happen either. They run you around in circles.
If you want help, don't call and press the admin or office numbers, punch through to sales
Only salesmen answer.. and that kinda says it all.

The treatment from start to finish was great, Jesus my contact explained everything and it went exactly as he said, they paid a lot more than any other company was offering and even after their initial offer was made…after inspection they actually paid me more than agreed and did not try to bargain me down. DO NOT BUT FROM FLEXICAR

Terrible service. As soon as they took my money they didnt car about anything. waited weeks and weeks for delivery. Car was very poor condition when finally arrived. Only one key after promising two keys. After 5 month still no documents. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT

Worst car-buying experience ever – avoid Flexicar

I bought a BMW 118i from Flexicar, and already before the purchase the left front tire pressure sensor was defective – a fault Flexicar has acknowledged at delivery but still has not repaired. I was promised it would be fixed, yet nothing has happened.

The whole process has been a nightmare: endless delays, broken promises, and constant excuses. I have been sent back and forth between different departments, and every time I reach out, I am just given a new contact to write to. At one point I was told to go to BMW Málaga “just to check” the car, only for them to confirm what we already knew. They even said it would be sent to BMW Marbella, but then stopped responding because the salesperson went on holiday – instead, I was given yet another phone number.

Today, August 18th, I have again tried to get Flexicar to take responsibility. Instead of solving the issue, they just keep sending me to new contacts. Suddenly, no one speaks English anymore, and I am told to contact the warranty department – which does not reply at all.

Flexicar has recognized the defect from the very start, yet months later it remains unresolved. This is unacceptable for any dealership that claims to be professional. My experience has been one of poor service, lack of accountability, and zero respect for the customer.

Avoid Flexicar at all costs.
