Caused ticket cancellation, then refused refund

I booked a flight through Fliggy, paid in full, and received a confirmation. Later, the airline (Spirit Airlines) informed me the ticket had been canceled due to a paymentdispute initiated by Fliggy.

So to be clear:
Fliggy caused the cancellation of my ticket.

Now they are refusing to:
• Rebook the ticket
• Issue a refund

Instead, they claim they will only refund if the airline does—which makes no sense because the airline did not cancel for its own reasons; the cancellation was triggered by Fliggy’s failed/disputed payment.

I am now left without a ticket and forced to rebook at a higher price, while Fliggy holds my money.

Avoid using this platform. If anything goes wrong, they will not take responsibility—even when the issue originates entirely on their end.

Despite less than stellar reviews, I had a 5-star experience

Despite less than stellar reviews, I had a 5-star experience with this company. I bought an Alaska Airlines flight for April that was just over 45% cheaper than what it was listed for on the Alaska Airlines official site. I booked, and despite it saying it would take up to 24 hours to process, I had my ticket numbers in only a few hours. I loaded them into the Alaska Airlines app and they worked. Great savings and great speed! Recommended!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I tried to book a flight through this company and they took my money but also canceled flight. I made my purchase, the payment went pending in my bank account. Minutes later they emailed me saying they had cancelled the flight because the payment was not received. I waited 24 hours expecting the pending transaction to go back in my account however, they took the payment and refused to help or refund. When I politely asked they said that I had booked the flight twice which is a complete lie. They have scammed me for $130.

Don't waste your money with Fliggy

Fliggy issued me a ticket with "[First Name] MR [Last Name]". My middle initial is "S" not MR which is generated by entering your gender into their form. Their passenger info form does not have a box for providing a middle name or initial. Their form has two boxes: one that says Given Name and one that says Last Name. I'm guessing I was supposed to enter my middle initial in the same box with my first name. I called the airline and asked if they could change my ticket. They couldn't and said I would need to contact the agency issuing the ticket. Fliggy said they couldn't change it. After a lot of complaining, they said that I could send a photo of my passport to them and that they would add a note to my ticket that my middle initial should be "S". They said that this may or may not be helpful. I didn't want to add the potential for identity theft to an already bad decision to try using this company, so I'm taking the ticket purchase as a loss and buying another ticket through the airline. Whatever you do, don't trust this travel agency. I clicked on them through Google Flights thinking that Google wouldn't suggest a scam to me.
