Protecting air passenger's right to compensation under EU261
I was on transit in Frankfurt and scheduled on a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Madrid. One hour before departure, Lufthansa cancelled the flight due to a technical glitch and rebooked me on another flight 14 hours later, leaving on the next day. Under EU261 regulation, passengers are entitled to cash compensation from the airline for delays of over 3 hours, without the need for negotiation with the airline. However when I submitted my claim for compensation, Lufthansa rejected it without explanation. Thanks to Flightright's lawyers pursuing this in court on my behalf, I was able to recover this compensation, even though the process took more than 2 years.

I have used Flightright a couple of times now to assist me in flight/airline compensation when all other avenues seem hopeless. Although the process can sometimes take a while (out of Flightright's control) they always kept me in the loop and updated me on a change of status as we progressed forward. I know that if I find myself in the situation again of being delayed or not having my rights acknowledged as a flight customer, I will come back to Flightright for that support.

I am Canadian and our airlines are allowed to offer lousy service with no or minimal compensation.
I am impressed with Flightright’s service and the EU’s holding airlines responsible for their mistakes.

they charge too much
They solved the case, but kept more than 50% of the amount I should have received (and they said I wiuld receive). If I have ever have another issue with an airline I will look elsewhere, I’m sure there are other services that keep a lower amount.
