HORRIBLE company dishonest and don't have integrity

HORRIBLE Company unwilling to do the right thing and don’t stand by their word. Forced me to change the plan for installation twice causing me a lot of money and time. It’s now mid July. I started this in April and my windows are not ordered yet, they are now refusing to install the 2 windows that they said they would if I had them straightened on my own. (I wanted the arch top to be removed.) A difference of 4” at the top to 0 inches on the sides needed to be filled in. It's hurricane season and I have temporary windows just sitting there while I get tossed around and told different things by different people who know nothing about my project!!! It's awesome they first blamed the inspectors in Collier county for being too picky and then other divisions of their own company, pointing the finger at sales misinformation. Like that’s suppose to be a comfort! Stay away these people couldn't care less about their customers. They treat you horrible and think (I'M SORRY) is enough to make it right! Poor customer care and a poor unprofessional company.

We had three sets of double doors…I feel stupid

We had three sets of double doors installed early November 2024. Today is June 5 2025 and the project still does not have the correct matching door handles I ordered. The double doors on the front and back of house have a silver handle on the left side and a bronze handle on the right door. Looks stupid. I feel stupid. I feel stupid I didn’t see the other bad reviews before I did business. Company has my money. They make you feel stupid when you call them. They act like it’s no big deal. They keep ordering the wrong parts. Please don’t do what I did. Be smart and do business with someone else.
Sincerely
Feeling Stupid on Marco Island

Florida Window and Door

The salesman, Rick Lasky was phenomenal - went into great detail about the differences. Carlos and his team did a great job installing. They have always been very communicate with any questions I had.

I couldn't ask for a better experience.

Never finished the job

Stay away from these company. FWD did not finish installing the windows we purchased and the county permit did not include all of the work we paid for. I had to correct the permit myself and hire another company to complete the installation. Luckily I was able to dispute the cost FWD charged because I used my own credit card. FWD did not argue against the dispute, they did not even answer the credit card company's request for information regarding the dispute.

Absolutely the worst company I have…

Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. They damaged my home and will not send painters to repair it. They are corrupt, dishonest and the most condescending company..... STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
The salesman put on a believable, good show and under the recommendation of a condo board member ( who apparently got paid } I ordered the windows.
They DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS or about integrity an any way.
I now have to hire a lawyer and fight them in court.
Florida Window and Door is pathetic!!!!!

Robo telemarketing/harassment

They use mobile calling or some other technique to call from multiple numbers several times a day with marketing calls that are unsolicited, in spite of being on the Do Not Call list. No attempts to block their numbers will succeed they have called my cell phone from over 50 different numbers from different areas.

Installed 3 sets of French doors

Installed 3 sets of French doors; doors do not open 180 deg as did the doors they replaced, therefore, the walkway through the lanai is dis-functional when open. Multiple construction and real estate professionals have stated the condition is unacceptable and can be corrected. We are now in our 9th month of trying to get this corrected. FW&D does not answer the phone, return phone calls or emails or communicate with us by anyone who will admit there is a problem or that can make a decision or correct the problem. FW&D is the most unresponsive, aggravating, insensitive customer be damned outfit I have dealt with in 12 years in Florida. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! One star is one too many — had to do something.

This is the worst company I have EVER…

This is the worst company I have EVER dealt with and after 10 months of waiting for CGI promised windows we have had 6 weeks of installation attempts with windows manufactured by Eastern Archetectual and Florida Window and Door has caused thousands of dollars of damage to our home. They should not have the privilege of possessing Any license for sales and construction. PLEASE visit Yelp and read their reviews before signing contract.

Worst ever ....The company is shady

Worst ever ....The company is shady. Buyer beware. They will take advantage of you. I bought $27,000 worth of doors. They delivered my doors, spent all day on the installation , caused damage to my house and installed the wrong doors and the wrong sizes, They will order the cheapest and crappiest doors with your money and then tell you that you paid $27,000 for doors but will tell you that they don't guarantee the brand. My salesman Marc told me I was going to receive CGI. I waited 30 weeks. They delivered a brand from Columbia . The doors from Columbia were beat up and broken. FWD said they could FIX them. Who pays $27000 for refurbished goods. NOT ME. Who says "here is $27,000 surprise me with whatever brand you choose of Hurricane door to protect me and my family....NOT ME.The sales pitch is full of misleading statements and it is concerning they can do what they please and assume their contract covers them to do dupe customers. They refuse to order the correct doors. They want to "FIX" the new ones and call that a resolution.
