Never order online!
I will never, ever order online from Florsheim again!
I wish I reviewed TrustPilot before ordering online. I love this brand for men's dress shoes, buy purchasing them online has completely changed my views.
I purchased three shoes from their website. Two out of the three came with noticeable marks and defects. To me it almost seems that they save the more problematic shoes for online sales.
One of the pairs appeared used. It didn't come with the outer covers they usually come with. The condition did not look good at all. I have another pair that I kept that also did not look good but it seems they're not manufactured anymore so I don't have any options and they were on clearance.
Here was my real issue: it took a month to return the shoes to my credit card. The person that I was emailing with, Charlie, was very kind and I feel bad for him because he must have a lot of work with how slow they drag their feet doing these returns.
Once I return the shoes it took weeks for them to be "checked in". After several emails and asking them to expedite it or that I would dispute it with my credit card finally they return them. Even after receiving an email confirmation that the shoes were being returned, it took another at least week for it to go back to the credit card.
I've seriously never had an online return that goes out into an abyss and is processed a month later. It's a very unfair considering when you purchase the shoes they take the money immediately. It makes it very hard to track checks and balances.
I will absolutely never buy shoes from this company online. It left such a bitter taste in my mouth that while I love a lot of their shoes, I'll probably start leaning towards other brands even in person.
