FLYBYS IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE

Flybys is not what it used to be. I would rate them minus 5 if it allowed me. Doesn’t deserve any stars. I accumulated more than 9000 points in last year. $1 per point. 2000 points = $10. Coles told me you can only redeem $10 a time off your shop? I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYDAY REWARDS OVER FLYBYS THESE DAYS. I accumulated $200 through the year through every days rewards for Christmas. Already sitting at $80 for this year. Hit boost on your everyday rewards to receive more points at nominated places for the week. Everyday rewards for Christmas you can use at certain fuel stations, Woolworths, Kmart, Bunnings, big W ect.

I just spent $2500 on a big order with Kmart. I didn’t have my fly buys on the account, but I added it later. I messaged fly buys but that said it’s too late, even though I still haven’t received the goods. It’s hard enough to get 2000 points for a measly) $10 off your shop. Then they can’t even credit you points due, from a simple overlook.

Don't honour offers, poor customer service, take all your data for no value.

Terrible organisation, do not deal with them. For the third time now they send an offer to shop at coles with minimums, to then get $50. I complete the shop. No reward. To actually get customer service is next to impossible. I contacted coles - they said they can't help. Flybuys won't accept emails. Fill out a form with all of your details......they always ask for all of your data, and yet always say they don't know anything. Third time now I have not had an offer honoured. I have now lodged an ACCC complaint as it is now a pattern of misleading and deceptive conduct to consumers.

no longer worth the effort

A year of scanning your flybuys card used to give you a full free shop at christmas. This year a whole year of scanning a weekly shop, small shops and bunnings purchases gave $26 in credit. what a disgrace

Fluybuys/Coles Rorting

DEC 02 2025:
I did a shop on a Fluybuys offer of 6000 points. Since accrued 2000 points converts to $10, it goes without saying that an offer of 6000 points equates to $30 off a shop (of $150).

My shop came to under $150. I was encouraged by the Coles checkout person to run around instore to make up the Fluybuy difference. I did. My shop totalled over $174.

Fluybuys claims shoppers can have an immediate discount. I didnot receive a cent off my shop. Add to this the journey, fuel, time and inconvenience of wanting the points/$ and supporting Coles and Fluybuys. Neither Fluybys nor Coles honored the deal.

I contacted Coles who admitted 'we cannot acess Fluybuys' and can't do anything. I contacted Fluybuys who further demeaned me by saying let us know if this happens again.

Later, I discovered my 6000 point /$30 conversion has been future-awarded $10! This means the implied offer of the 6000 point conversion of $30 was/is false and misleading and lured the me/the shopper (and others) with the promise of what Fluybuys and Coles knew - a priori - would not be honored.

Now, Fluybuys says I can have $10 of my next shop! Another part of the rort. This means the $150 6000 point one-off offer leads to greater expenditure for the shopper who, in reality, has lost more money all round and not benefited a cent.

Something needs to be done to end these marketing abuses that have no substance and treat shoppers as foolish commodities.

I'm not going away. I will see the end of rorting.

DEC 4 2025
It is now revealed by Fluybuys that I can get '$10 off your next 3 shops'.
What a sickenly clever way to cover their backs for dishonoring the 6000 point offer.

That means:
▪︎ 4 x shops not 1 shop of $150 to get 6000 points
▪︎ $150=$0.00
▪︎ $150 + $x +$× +$x amounts that far exceed the original ONE OFF offer of 6000 points having the implied conversion of $10×3=$30. Not honored at check-out by Coles or Fluybuys and now not only a continuation of humilating rorting intended to:

• Cover their backs and get away with the initial deception but also
• Dupe the shopper into spending a total of 4 times as much as the original one offer.

Something is VERY wrong if investigators allow these things to pass.
It reeks of every level of corruption.

I fully respect the ACCC and the work they do, but why are these rorts being ignored (condoned) and allowed to continue instead of being stopped?

Surely there are other shoppers like myself who are not afraid to stand against rorters and are equipped for a good old legal battle on behalf of sll consumers?

Why so difficult?

Trying to redeem points is very difficult- they make the process complicated- intentionally. Logged in to my account- supposed to have 4525 points- and it shows ZERO. Went on Chat line and it actively blocks you from submitting a complaint.

writing to raise a concern regarding your latest promotional offer. In the past, the target was $110 per week for four weeks to receive $50 off, but now it has increased to $130. This change makes it clear that customers are being pushed to spend more money to access the same reward, which feels unfair and discouraging. With the cost of living already rising, many families cannot afford these higher targets. It seems Flybuys is prioritising profits over customer loyalty. I urge you to reconsider and offer fairer deals.

Automated system a bad joke.

No help with a scam, so I lost $300. I set up a new account and tried to obtain an additional card. The sytem would not accept my address even though it showed other apartments in my building (which has a Coles supermarket on the ground floor. The automated system is worse than useless and the help number always gives the “busier than usual” b/s

In app discounts not applied at checkout

Should advise customers that it takes 30mins for in app discounts to be applied after activating. My 10% discount was not given at checkout and it took two phone calls to an inefficient call centre to resolve.

Had the card for all most 6 years my account has less then $5 the lying rude women on the phone said my card is only one year old. I have been using my card the whole time 6 years at coles and bunnings. Spent thousands of dollars. There should be a date of issue on the card. I have been scammed.

Customer service are zombies

Customer service was like dealing with zombies, lacking any initiative. No one actually listened or tried to solve the issue. They just recited scripted responses like a broken program.
