The service is absolutely unacceptable

The service is absolutely unacceptable. The representatives hang up on you or leave you on hold for an indefinite period the moment you ask a question. They barely introduce themselves, and when they do respond, they provide poor, unhelpful solutions without making any real effort to assist the customer.

Frankly, I believe Air France should seriously reconsider its partnership with Flying Blue or, at the very least, demand stronger guarantees regarding the quality and professionalism of their employees.

Flying Blue Top 3 Worst Customer Service Experiences of My Life

I accidentally added someone to my Family account 10h ago I called them as soon as i added the person and stayed on hold for 1.5 h until my phone battery died. I called them again next day and now they are telling me there's nothing they can do, I’m locked in with them for 6 months, and there’s no way to remove them?

No confirmation prompt, no option to fix it, nothing.

I called customer service, thinking this would be an easy fix. Instead, they told me 6 months BY" and hung up on me. Twice.

No help. No accountability. Just a broken system and rude support.

This is not how you treat loyal customers.

I am absolutely disgusted at the poor customer service provided. I am trying to update my name on my account following my marriage and the system continually gives an error message. When I phoned the help desk the email I was provided was a fake email and the online support told me they couldn't help. My only option is to close the account and therefore loose all my miles and fly other airlines

Horrible

Horrible. "Michelle" who answered my call was yawning the whole time and did not let me finish my sentences. She was utterly useless and could not provide the simplest information. It is a shame that such service exists.

What happened with the service?

I'm a Flying Blue member for over 25 years and travelled intercontinental with KLM several times a year for my work. Now I'm retired and don't fly that much anymore, I have the lowest flying blue status. Tomorrow I fly from Cartagena back to NL with my
husband. During check-in I noticed that they put us on 2 middle seats, far from each other. WHY? Doesn't it mean anything for KLM anymore that I was such a good cliënt for many years? During check-in I managed to change the chairs to the only 2 aisle chairs left, but als far away from each other. Where has the service gone towards old flying blue members???

Hotel for Miles By Flying Blue / Rocket Travel Review

I used the Flying Blue "Hotel for Miles" program, which operates in partnership with Rocket Travel.

When I arrived at the hotel, the staff informed me that they had no record of my reservation. I tried reaching customer support, only to find that there was no 24/7 assistance available. When they answered they were unable to help me and I had to book myself another room using traditional methods.

Rocket Travel insisted that my booking was processed correctly, even though the hotel had sent multiple emails confirming that they never received it.

Despite this, they refuse to issue a refund. It been already 12 days...

It appears that Rocket Travel and Flying Blue are deceiving customers through the "Hotel for Miles" program. I call it a SCAM!!!

Miles for hotel exchange rates are a rip off.

A low level Motel 6 one night will cost you 44,500 miles....If you try to "buy" that same about of miles, $1,342!!! And if you actually spend cash, it will cost you $149.46!!!

Really poor costumer service

Really poor costumer service. Mistakes in their administration that resulted in me loosing frequent flyer status are acknowledged, but not fixed. Many phone calls over 3 month period: many promises to fix but nothing happens…a waste of all the extra spending to keep up flying blue status

Beware of their fraudulent point system on gifts.

Clearly this company is a fraud when it comes to trying to use points for their gifts online. What a scam they have going. You can't order anything if you reside in the USA. The old, not available in your country, comes up every time, even with Stanley screw driver set which is American! Pity, your best bet just donate them. I for one will never use their points system again. Get delta at least they can be used in the USA. Dissatisfied business class client.

Ordered item with my points.

Ordered item with my points.
Courier delivered to Royal Mail office and not my home BUT no postage was paid.
I had to trek a long distance to Royal Mail and then pay a 'fine' of £7 to get the parcel.
When I called FB, they offered me an insulting number of points - which I do not even want.
I then sent a complaint to them asking for moderate compensation to cover the journey and money - no answer and have now written three times in total via the website.
Extremely poor customer service and it leaves a very bad impression.
UPDATE: They responded to my email after I had posted this. They pointed out that they weren't responsible for any taxes when an item is ordered. There were no taxes mentioned - I had to pay a 'fine' for lack of postage being paid by their business partner who provided the item. They clearly have no understanding!!!

Do not book flight with flying blue card

Hi! I’m a flying blue card holder and booked my international flight. At that time I was shown my status as silver which allowed me to check in 2 baggage and that’s the reason why I chose air france flight over others.
But all of a sudden I received an email from flying blue that my status got changed and I can only carry one check in baggage. I feel cheated with the information shown at the time of booking and all of a sudden changed before my travel. I reached out to customer service but no help there.

Not even one star.

Not even one star.
This is utterly atrocious service.
Incomprehensible Flying Blue system. Lost our points from previous flights. No idea how to redeem points. Current booking didn't appear on the Flying Blue system until I managed to phone where I received advice " write to us with details ". While I was struggling with this unresolved nonsense for over an hour, my son was trying independently to find solutions or a way through this convoluted system. All he found was negative comments from similarly frustrated and annoyed customers who like me,apparently, simply gave up. Don't even think about trying to understand or redeem anything on Flying Blue.In the words of my son, " let's just give up Dad ; not worth the stress."
After our next flight, I won't bother as I never intend to fly AF/ KLM again.
When I just googled Flying Blue reviews, one word appeared: BAD.

Have (sad) a flying blue account

Have a flying blue account, have the card, have flown qualifying miles with another air partner. So I recently tried to log into my account should be around 60000 air miles , can't log in, no customer service, emails returned stating need a reference number, no way of getting a number. The thing is a joke.
Just redeemed hotel with Thai airways , fantastic.
Aviso iberia British airways Fantastic

Flying blue absolute rubbish.

Don't buy air miles!! KLM/Air france

Don't buy air miles!!! con/scam, spent £700, Air miles are worth one third of the cash value, a complete rip off and only able to use 20% towards a flight or the other way round a waste of money. Not on any terms or conditions just a marketing email saying buy now at a reduced amount !!
suckered in! Corporate criminals !!!!! Apparently they can do nothing ! now cant go on my Holiday!!
