Focus Removals & Storage Teesside Reviews 

First of all, Don’t get me wrong they did what they were supposed to. But they were reckless with my furniture throwing it around everywhere throwing it into the van. This is why i didn’t pack any of my vinyl records! This might make me sound like a karen but they took like 10 breaks! Took them ages to remove my furniture being careless and they even left a hole on my wall! They were nice lads but horrible service 0/10

Move took place in Nov 22. Focus could not fit all my possessions in their vehicle despite a full video estimate and said that an item would follow within a week. Now late Mar 23 and the item still has not been delivered. Multiple emails ignored, no definite plan for delivery of item that was part of the original contracted move. Unreliable, disappointing and evasive when trying to resolve over multiple months.

Can’t thank the lads enough at focus for helping me move the lads went above and beyond , I can’t recommend them enough, very fast , and reliable ! Thank you to Jordan and Lee who arranged delivery with a day or two notice I couldn’t have done it without use. The best removal service , I would use anyone else.
From moving from an upstairs flat the lads covered all my furniture so nothing got damaged , anyone who’s thinking about using focus , I highly recommend.

We could not have had more helpful men. Dennis and his son Michael really were wonderful. It is a very stressful time but these men made it much easier and were always extremely polite. It was my grand daughter, husband (working away) and children who were moving and I was there to help. They made a difficult time much less stressful.

We moved from Dudley, west midlands to highlands and used this company via a third party. I really expressed how important it was to have the kiddies happy given the distance we were going and one child having special needs. A this team delivered a first class service. They really were super heros and still today, our children talk about the heros who moved all their toys, taking time and consideration for each box. Treated all things like they were their own. I really couldn't have asked for a better team and nothing was too much trouble. I can honestly say I felt like we had a team if friends not just a removal company. if I needed to move again, I'd be straight here, if anyone needs to use a removals company, I wholeheartedly recommend!

Great team, and superb value. Only slight issue was the van selected was a little small. But I think this was just a minor error, the service and price were great.

As I was already living 250 miles away I needed my house and garage contents packing away unsupervised and then moving to my new house. Danny was great organising everything (what was staying what was not etc). Everything went according to plan. James and the lads also did a great job at the delivery end, nothing was too much trouble for them. Friendly and professional, I would certainly use Focus Removals again. Highly recommended.

I am speechless. I would have been better hiring a skip, chucking it all in and seeing what I have left at the other end. My advice would be spend a bit more and get a better service.

Excellent service from the team at focus removals yorkshire. On Time friendly and hard working. Made my move day stress free. Would recommend to anyone

This cowboy outfit are rubbish, the men were always stopping for a smoke, and when challenged they said they were allowed a break, not every few minutes. We never had any one come and assess the quantity of property we had to move, the owner estimated it from estate agent photos, we were told by the owner that he had just got a new bigger Van which we asked for, but when they turned up with 2 small Vans we were suprised the men said they didn't have anything bigger.the men were careless with our belongings and complaining about everything .
They broke four things, 2 tempered glass shelves a kitchen light and two lampshades, when I challenged the man he said it was okay when he put them on the Van,he rang the owner and said he didn't know how this happened as if we had smashed the shelves, I rang the owner about the shelves being smashed and the other things which had been damaged and he said I should have complained within a week as stated in the contract, which is rubbish as it takes longer than that to unpack.
The response from the owner show what this company really is, A Cow Boy outfit, don't be like us ring around check out all removal companies,if they slag of competitor's you should avoid like the plague, Wish we had.

This review is regarding Focus Removal based in York. Initially when I first spoke to D he seemed charming and very helpful. It was apparent that we were moving during a busy period but he reassured me that it would all be ok. From the day of the move however nothing was smooth sailing. Our move was slightly more complicated as we needed to store our furniture for a few weeks before we could move into our next house. The first major problem was the storage unit he had assured us we could have was not available and so the men disappeared for about 4 hours to make space for our furniture. The storage unit itself is basically a shed and they didn’t cover any of our futniture to protect it from dirt/scuff marks etc. When we got the furniture back it was all dusty and dirty. When the day came to move us into our new house, D told us the guys would be late and then eventually told us they couldn’t move us on the day we had booked in. We asked that he at least bring our beds and he did send 2 men with beds but they didn’t bring all the parts and so we all had to sleep on the floor. The following day he was uncontactable and we had no idea if we would be getting our furniture. They did turn up and bring the furniture. However we were planning on keeping some of our items in long term storage with them and as a consequence of this we were missing quite a few items that should have come to the house, including a new dyson cordless vacuum. The men who moved us seemed pleasant, but the move itself was so disorganised and when it was apparent that our furniture was not being stored properly we decided to move the rest of our furniture to a self storage unit. When we moved what was left, the vaccuum cleaner never turned up. He takes no responsibility for this. I would really like to believe that the vaccuum has been lost, rather than stolen, due to disorganisation and incompetence of the manager, as the removal men did seem nice, but we will never know and we honestly never want to deal with this company again. I appreciate the price of moving with them is good and they have some positive reviews. If this review does not put you off then please at least check your insurance before moving to see what you are covered for if it does go wrong.

A large part of the stress of a house move can be the removal process. Not with Focus Removals though.

From RFQ through to completion of our move the Focus team were outstanding. Timely, helpful, careful & professional.

We moved from Scotland to England which was a tromatic experience in itself without the issues caused by this removal company. The guys were hard working and polite. However when we unpacked we noticed a number of items missing and some damage. After a raft of emails they would only pay out £40 per item. I reported the missing items to the police after coming to the conclusion they had been stolen. It took 2 moths for rhe to pay out. The amount did not cover the replacement of the items stolen. Not a trustworthy company. They caused a great deal of stress for ourselves so beware there is issues with theft. Not recommended.

Kai, Ryan, Perry and Dylan from Foucs helped me move on 16th April after packing me up the day before. They were timely, knowledgeable, efficient, careful, caring and infinitely patient. There were inevitable hiccups and they managed those with grace, care and kindness helping me to say calm and resolving the difficulties without drama.
I hadn't moved for 37 years and they made the expereince a painless one. Thank you to each of them and to Focus Removals and Pete for his support through the booking process.

Danny and his team made a very stressful time so much easier. Special thanks to James and Dave (aka Fred) for their patience and care whilst keeping a great sense of humour throughout. Danny did not hesitate to send in reinforcements when the people wanting to move in turned up much earlier than expected!! Thank you for all your help, a great job done for a competitive price.

A very generous 1*. Slow, late, damaged stuff beyond repair, a nightmare experience, use Luton vans. Unless you want to move in at midnight and have your furniture damaged beyond repair, part of your load left behind, stay clear. The cheeky tw@ts were angling for a tip too. Worst move experience we have ever had

FIASCO!! ONE STAR IS TOO GENEROUS. The business could be called Fiasco, instead of Focus. What a disaster! Lazy, slow, rude, disorganised, unwilling, late, understaffed, left client in the lurch. 'Nuff said.

Not recent,used this company 2 years ago today,loads of issues and damages,emailed complaints,never even answered,very poor,surprised this company is still in business
