An interesting experience — and not for the reasons a nursery would hope
When looking for childcare, I don’t just wander around a setting and nod politely.
I check reviews, I talk to other parents, and I pay attention to patterns.
And the pattern here was… noticeable.
Every time someone posts anything less than glowing, it seems to vanish quicker than a toddler with a stolen biscuit. Parents I spoke to had clocked the same thing, which was oddly reassuring, at least I knew it wasn’t just me seeing the red flags.
It’s a strange approach. Most good nurseries address concerns; this one appears to prefer making them evaporate. It gives the impression that feedback is treated more like a PR emergency than a chance to improve.
In the end, choosing another nursery was very easy.
When transparency feels optional, it usually means it isn’t encouraged
