I recently purchased the Tantalus model from Forgeworld, but what I received was a box full of warped, sloppy resin that no amount of time or skill with a heat gun, hobby knife, and sandpaper was going to fix. They should have just sent me a note that said, "Go **** yourself," in response to my order. It would have been the same effect and we both would have saved on shipping. Of course, I brought this embarrassment to manufacturers and craftsmen everywhere to their attention (more than once) and have received nothing but radio silence. I purchased the Mechanicum knight combine from them a little over a year ago, and those models were gorgeous, so I know they can do it, it just seems that, between then and now, they've stopped caring. Whether it's something someone else ordered, or something I've ordered myself, it has been quite some time since I've seen anything come out of Forgeworld that wasn't absolute hot trash. They have some cool designs but, between the arbitrary price increase and monumental decline in quality, Forgeworld should be ashamed of themselves and, frankly, owes the community an apology. However, being that Forgeworld apparently has nothing but contempt for its customers, I wouldn't hold my breath. Nonetheless, until then, I will do everything in my power to steer anyone that will listen away from Forgeworld and towards the plethora of talented third party sculptors and casters that produce a superior product, will respond to you if there's an issue, and actually care about making the gaming community better, not just picking its bones.

Good delivery time, nice models, slightly more expensive, but worth it for the quality.

Good service. They will replace any parts that are mis-cast for free.

Too expensive, quality control is bad and they only care about profits.

$115 AUD for 5 models in resin that may or may not require additional work with green stuff or re-shaping with boiling water.

After requesting help with a missing piece of an expensive part that is now discontinued I am leaving a negative review.Never had a problem before but as they are the only suppliers I cannot now build my purchase.This makes my £100s pound of purchase useless.This is very bad and unhelpful and never used to be like this.Very bad customer service and a great shame.

there was a small issue with an order I put in. It was a quick easy phone call, the service was exceptional and it was resolved. Very good customer service and interest/caring to make it right.

Forgeworld in Hobby terms is equivalent to paying to win on a few choice models that make sense competitively for some armies.... only your money does not get you a huge advantage as you are better playing flavour of the month on average if you want to win that badly.... Maybe if you wanted a showpiece like Necrons Titan Ceraptyic thing as you cannot get that from the stock GW range. But in principle, Forgeworld is overpriced and will make you pay Stupid price complete with a Stupid tax.. If you are not British you will pay Foreigner Stupid prices with a stupid tax and a foreigner tax...

I'd stay far away from it as humanly possible unless the model was really one of a kind, you are all kinds of stupid rich or just plain old stupid.

I was missing pieces from a blood bowl kit I ordered. I emailed then when there were closed at by 10am the next morning they had the replacement parts shipped and provided me with a tracking number. Unmatched customer service.

Disgusting price gouging. They abused FAKE currency conversion as an excuse when "calculating" (read: massively raising the price for) local currencies. Charging 300 dollars+ for models that cost less than 15 dollars to make. Despicable. You're making the hobby look like a joke. Good luck price gating everyone out of ever buying from you again.

I was an avid user of the Forgeworld line and I spent a massive ammount on their products for the Horus Heresy game.
Now with the regional price gouging I will spend my money elsewhere.

Following a completely unexplained and ridiculous price hike of between 15 - 40% on all of their products, I will no longer be giving this company my business.

They doubled their price when they realized how much people wanted their models, money hungry company not in it for the hobby at all, the models i have from them had issues with the cast, most of them are good casts but some are just terrible. I'm leaving the company to support companies that are in it for the hobby.

Extremely Expensive for those who do not live in the UK

I had been a long-time customer of Games Workshop and Forge World due to the incredible quality of their models. However, at the sight of the newest price hike from Forge World I have been forced to scrap my plans to finish my Death Korps of Krieg army. I simply cannot afford the models anymore.

The models are nicely sculpted. It's quite easy to replace miscasts and their customer service is quite decent.

Now for only 30% more, for no reason.

First and foremost; I love forgeworld miniatures and their customer service. However, the steep increase of prices in local currencies is absurd. The only benefit to the customer is the faster shipping time. This is a huge dissapointment.

Manufacture great miniatures and models. However, their recent "Pay in your currency" website update only made their products more expensive depending on your location around the world. Instead of converting GBP to AUD and adding postage and 10% GST to the price we now have a massive mark up of 17.3% ~ 30.0% on all products.

They have been doing this for years here with Games Workshop retail in Australia and argue the cost of services here. But now they have no excuse to changing the price for an online UK service that provides no extra benefits to others around the world.

You lost my business and I no longer can afford to waste my time and money trying to continue this hobby. Games Workshop prices in the past year for new miniatures were ridiculous! Now this killed me off of your hobby.

Go back to the old method!

Was a steady customer of Forge World until their “ease of access and better customer service” raised prices by 20-50% depending on which country you are from. This is a gross discrimination of price by location and will no longer support this company until they fix this unethical and unfair ploy they played on the world. Highway robbery at its finnest!
