After several years, they proved to be VERY unreliable! AVOID
Went to Fox's in Camberley to get my car's air conditioning re-gassed, which they did. Pity they didn't check for leaks first, because a week later it failed again. Complained to Fox's, who said they could not be responsible for a failure after the re-fill - BUT IT WAS LEAKING BEFORE being refilled! That is why it was empty.
Got a professional in to see it, he tested it properly and replaced a 10p rubber 'O'-ring that cured the leak and then refilled the gas for me again - at half the price.
I complained to Fox's, but they said "The Regas service is intended to restore the refrigerant to the correct level and does not guarantee the condition of other components within the system." That is like saying that you would put air into a tyre but cannot be held responsible if the tyre was flat because of a puncture! Ridiculous!
Whilst with Fox's, they did a 'health check'!
They advised that the front suspension arms were corroded and the rubber bushes perished. Subsequently they contacted me THREE TIMES telling me to make an appointment to get the work done before the MOT date. I didn't, I went for the MOT and the MOT man said there was nothing wrong with the suspension arms - the car passed first time!
I complained again, but they said "we did not advise that they required immediate replacement". But if inviting me THREE TIMES to book the car in to do the work before the MOT was due does not imply urgency, WHAT DOES!
Very disappointing, after having been with Fox's for several years, but NEVER AGAIN!
