I have owned a Franke Omni boiling water tap for five years and purchased replacement filters directly from Greg Rowe — the UK manufacturer behind the Franke Omni — every six months throughout that time. I was a loyal, repeat customer of both brands.
The tap failed when the ferrule on the boiling water tank hose corroded, causing a leak and rendering both the boiling and filtered water functions completely unusable. When I contacted Greg Rowe for support, I was told the hose tails are not detachable from the tap body and that my only option was to buy a completely new tap at £350 plus fitting costs.
No goodwill gesture. No acknowledgement that the ferrule design was later revised — which strongly implies this was a known failure point. No interest whatsoever in retaining a customer who had spent consistently with them for five years.
I sent a formal written complaint to Greg Rowe. No response was received.
I then contacted Franke UK directly, hoping that a brand of their standing would want to know how their customers were being treated. Their response was to refer me straight back to Greg Rowe.
The tap carries Franke's name and is sold on the strength of their reputation. When things go wrong, that responsibility cannot simply be passed back and forth between manufacturer and brand until the customer gives up.
The product failure itself was frustrating. The complete indifference shown by both Greg Rowe and Franke UK to a loyal, long-standing customer is what has brought me here. I would not buy from either again and could not recommend their after-sales support to anyone.

As part of a full kitchen replacement in 2017, I had a Franke stainless steel sink installed, but recently noticed that the fixings had failed and the sink had begun to lift from the worktop. After checking the warranty, I discovered that a 50-year guarantee covers Franke sinks. I emailed customer services, providing my invoice and photographic evidence, and Tilly promptly replied to my email. She was extremely helpful and efficient, organising a replacement, which was delivered within a few days. Overall, it was a completely stress-free experience and an excellent example of customer service from a company that honours its guarantees without hesitation.

We purchased Franke believing that they would be of high quality and covered by a long warranty.
Turns out the warranty is useless as it doesn't cover the parts that break, and the parts quality is not good.
Had so many issues, and even problems with the replacement parts supplied by Franke.
I've ended up having to spend so much time replacing and sourcing parts.
Even when working properly it still leaks. The attention to quality is limited.

The gentleman who fitted the tap was courteous and worked very quickly.
Really pleased with Franke UK. Our kettle tap was faulty and they replaced and fitted free of charge. Further they gave us another 2 year free warranty.

I had a recent visit from an an engineer- Dan.
He was prompt, efficient, friendly and very communicative. The work was completed quickly and he offered suggestions to help make the visit more productive for me, while also helping to keep the cost down.

The customer service team (Natalie) is phenomenally good. They helped me identify the type of tap installed in my house (installed by previous owner), accepted to cover the warranty and provided all advice on how to install the spare parts. 5 years afterwards, I had a different request and they were once again excellent in providing me with full support. The service over the phone is always helpful and has given prompt advice. The call out fee is quite high but Martin our technician was great. He gave us good advice, fixed our problem and kept us informed as regards to his arrival time on each occasion

Technician visit was, as always, excellent. Dan really is a credit to the company. Problem quickly rectified. My only real grumble is the length of time it takes from reporting a fault to a technician being able to call: you need to employ more technicians!

The engineer, Martin, turned up unexpectedly early but was very patient and waited for me to return from the school run, rather than just leaving. He was very friendly and explained the issues clearly.
I had a Franke Minerva 4in1 tap installed in November 2025 and after a couple of months the flow rate was becoming very slow. I reported it to Franke and and they responded very quickly. Tom Bickley was very helpful and organised an engineer to visit to resolve the issue.
On Monday 30th March. An engineer called Martin came Monday morning and resolved the issue - it was a faulty tank so he replaced it with a new one.
He was polite, helpful, efficient, knowledgeable and easy to talk to - a credit to Franke.

I had a problem with my kitchen mixer tap dripping, so contacted Franke customer services. Natalie dealt with my query quickly and efficiently and sent me some replacement valves under warranty. These are now fitted and my tap is as good as new.

Franke have replaced my waste unit and hot tap boiler recently, I don’t know the engineers name, but he did both jobs, very efficient, and careful, waited and tested both, asked me to check work, very impressed with Franke after care service, thoroughly recommend if you want the job done properly and guaranteed .

I have had a Franke tap for many years, it has been a top quality tap, perfect for my needs, but finally showing its age, so I was looking to replace it with a similar tap. We had a problem with our Franke Minerva not heating up and after we contacted Franke someone called back and spoke to my husband and went through some checking procedures the problem was identified. A new tank and filter was placed on order and will be despatched to us. Hopefully we will receive this, at the latest ,we’ve been assured within 3 days. I can’t imagine we will be let down they have been so efficient so far.
