Given Frankie's excellent channel you would expect similar in the discord.

Given Frankie's excellent channel and tutorials one would expect the same demeaner in his discord, but he actually doesn't have much to do with it, it's run by a user called "Tony D". Frankie drops some charts and descriptions a few times a week, and the two livestreams on Monday and Friday.

Nothing over the weekend though that I have seen, and Frankie isn't really contactable, he is never in the chats other than the read only charts he posts.

Sometimes you can speak to him in the premium livestream, there's about 80 people in the chats when they go live.

That's it, so set your expectations accordingly.

Unfortunately the discord itself has some very unsavoury characters, little moderation, antisemitism, and wild conspiracy theories like "net zero is a scam", "drill baby drill", and the usual soundbites that come out of America we're all tired of hearing ad nauseum.

There really is no moderation at all, I've not seen any in a month of being there. Unfortunately all it takes is a few always vocal, omnipresent and unpleasant users to turn it from a professional trading group to a propaganda outlet. If you block the trouble makers you just end up with a chat full of hidden comments, so you inevitably just become an observer rather than a participant, which is the opposite of what a discord should be about.

You can beardly go an hour without someone interjecting the flow of conversation with conspiracy theories and degnerate behavour.

I suspect they have a pretty high churn rate because of the clique.

American right wing politics seems to be the primary focus 24/7, which is the exact opposite of Frankie's ethos of "show me the charts and I'll tell you the news".

What a pity, for $65 a month you would expect more, so I didn't continue my subscription and simply let it lapse.

They would do well to have some, any kind of visible moderation going forward, but I didn't see even a single incendiary post removed, and the same users just carried on regardless after a period of complaining about censorship and threatening to leave. Alas they didn't. It's high school behaviour unbecoming of a professional trading group, and given that you can't actually contact Frankie I don't even know if he is aware of it. You would have though so given the $4000+ per month in subscriptions from the endevour. I saw at least one other person leave due to obscene far right content proliferating in the "off topic" chat while I was there, and another user asking about how to cancel shortly after the first. So that makes three of us within a matter of days.

There are some far more pleasant trading groups around with far better moderation and clear rules and standards of behaviour, and given that Frankie has been on the scene for a few years now you would have thought that be one of the first things to set up, instead of literally nothing it's descended into a clique, for $700 a year in subscription fees.
