We used this game for a 60th birthday party. We had a fabulous time and kept everyone engaged. Although there were 20 characters and we had 40 people everyone had a great time. It's a terrific way to keep a mixed group going. I was surprised at how many people really got into their characters

Really different type of Murder Mystery - so much better than boring scripted games! All our guests had an amazing time, getting into character and having a fun evening. The documents were really useful and the forums on each game were helpful in sharing information and tips about the game. Would highly recommend and will be purchasing another one soon!

This was an exceptional experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking to host a murder mystery. It was way better than other mystery products I've tried. The cost is incredibly low for the quality and amount of entertainment.

This game was amazing! Everyone had a blast and got super into character. It really helps to have 2 hosts if you have more than like 8 guests cause things get going real fast! Great game!

I hosted a large family event at the end of December which centered around "Murder on the Dancefloor." The 21 players who participated had such a good time that I have already been asked to host another murder mystery next Winter. In preparing for this big event, I appreciated the materials provided by Freeform and the prompt & helpful emails from Mo Holkar, Partner, which answered my several questions. I'm not sure whether I had more fun getting ready for this event (I added lots of props & an actual dance contest) or acting as Diner Manager at the event! It was all a great experience!

Generally good mechanics to their games, with very thorough and detailed instructions. The item play and very targeted character goals are among the most thorough that I have seen. I have played 3 of their games and the quality of game mechanics / detail is very, very high.

That said, many of these games were written a while back, and don't reflect modern attitudes about the roles of women. So female characters tend to be written for purely romantic goals or as assistants to male characters, and aren't very strong themselves. Some of the male character background packets are written rather chauvinistically. If the company could invest time in updating the quality and strength of female characters in this game, would give it 5 stars!

We had a blast. It was a great night, and I hope to do the game with another group of friends soon.

I have been a part of 5 Freeform Games, 4 of which I hosted, and I am ALWAYS impressed by the detailed instructions for the host, intricate plots, and fun twists. Some people love dressing up and speaking in an accent; they always have a blast. Some people prefer to sit on the couch and be a bit more introverted; they have a blast, too! The flexibility is wonderful. We always talk about the event for days or weeks afterwards!

I did the Spellbound game hosted by a friend and then later bought my own copy to host it myself (with tons of Harry Potter decorations). Fantastic experience and my friends loved it so much that they want to host their own!

We purchased a block of murder mysteries from Freeform Games almost a year ago and have been using them with our teens' homeschool group. They have loved each and every one of them. So far, we've done A Heroic Death, Davy Jones's Locker, and Way Out West, and we are going to do Spellbound in February. The mysteries are well-organized and include some expansion characters if you have more people wanting to participate. Their customer service has always been prompt, friendly, and helpful when I've had a question about anything. I highly recommend them!

We have played several of Freeform’s murder mysteries. They’ve all been a big success. We won’t use another brand again

We have done 3 different games from Free Form Games and we always have a great time. Well written, very thorough and lots of different story lines for everyone to do. It's nice to be able to get into your character and not stick to a script!

I live in the US, aamd at first was unsure of ordering from an overseas company. But the process was painless, and since then I have ordered several games from these folks over the years. Not only are their Murder Mystery games the best, but the company itself is top notch...helpful, responsive, trustworthy. All around a great experience. I have encouraged everyone I know who is interested in live party gaming to use them. You should, too!

It was great. Everyone got into the speakeasy spirit and the game ran quite smoothly. It was a night to remember, and I would recommend this, and any Freeform Games murder mystery to any of my friends. We're hoping to do another in the future!

Always clever games with great characters. Especially appreciate how accessible their people are when I have questions. I hope they keep making large games!
