Unacceptable Experience, Unreasonable and Rude Conduct.
After visiting this website I ordered and paid for a Vu+Solo2 Satellite Receiver which from his web site was advertised as including a hard disk drive. The box was delivered reasonably quickly so no complaints there. When I opened it I discovered that there was no HDD included. On querying this with 'Satellite Pete' I was informed that his webpage was incorrect, no HDD. Although very annoyed at his dishonesty, I continued with the installation only to find that the box would not work as advertised. Following a dozen or more emails I rang him and was roundly abused with every four letter word I had ever heard, and then some. Satellite Pete informed me that his box was not faulty and that the problem was with my installation, difficult to understand when I simply replaced my MySky box with his.
His final words:
if it works here..= no refund...
fault with you or your setup.....= FACT
these boxes are FAULTLESS...= FACT
From my experience in dealing with Satellite Pete, I am absolutely certain that no matter the (un)serviceability of my box, he would confirm it as working properly and no refund as well as me having to pay for courier to his place of residence in the Bay of Islands.
Do not deal with this gentleman unless you are willing to accept abuse and dishonesty.
