Can't believe I am even giving it 1 star.
The dress doesn't look at all like the picture, not the color, not the shape.
It always said free return, but in very small it was written "only if you are in the UK". So now I am paying 40€ just to return a 110€ dress that is just wrong

In March 2023 we booked a family holiday advertised with French Connections. The advertisement for the property said it was recently renovated, high quality accommodation and furnished to a high standard.

On our arrival at the property we were very disappointed to find a tied and rundown property certainly not recently renovated with a filthy kitchen that hadn’t been cleaned properly for months and a lounge that was shut up because it needed clearing and cleaning. The outside was overgrown and scruffy and the swimming pool area had loose tiles with broken sun loungers. The pool had a bad repair in one corner, its walls were covered in green algae and it had dangerous uneven steps.

We complained to the owner who lived onsite, but she seemed oblivious to the dirty and rundown conditions and acted as if we were just being fussy. We also complained to French Connections on our return home.

We sent French Connections a review based on our experience for posting on their website, but after a month of trying and several emails they still haven’t posted our review. We believe this is because it was critical about the property and the owner and they will only post good reviews. During the same period they posted two positive reviews, one from a year ago from a person who had posted 4 previous good reviews and one very short good review from early August.

We believe the advertisement was misleading and out of date and French Connections is biased towards the property owners and will only post positive reviews.
