Was a little worried about the product as it had mixed reviews, but everything I’ve painted with this has been brilliant. It’s all in the preparation of the item you’re painting and a few coats and it looks wonderful. The gold really sparkles and it’s better than I imagined, I bought 2 tins but the coverage is brilliant and goes a very long way. I would absolutely recommend.

This product is very orange when applied and not as aspected.

I was excited to find a low voc metallic paint but unfortunately the French gold paint from frenchic was very disappointing. It’s very thin and even after 3 coats was showing the pale primer underneath (as shown in the picture). The colour is also very orange/ pink and not one I like. I ordered 2 pots and want to return the one I’ve not opened but can see that return postage is at my cost. Overall a very frustrating and expensive waste of time.

Very disappointed with the kings gold it is very transparent and separates when painting also the colour is more orange. For how expensive this product is it was a complete waste of time and money and has ruined my diy project for my wedding I have contacted Frenchic as I’m hoping I just got a bad batch as I have never had this experience with there products before. Photos have had at least 3 coats
