Great stay in Barcelona

Keys were very easy to collect, the apartment is situated in an excellent location. Friendly Rentals also office a free bag drop at their offices on the day you depart which was very helpful.

Great place to stay

Great location just off Catalunya square and Las Ramblas, well equipped apartment and very clean
You get the key from their office which is about a 5 mins walk from the apartment
We had a great stay and would definitely stay there again should we come back to Barcelona

Beautifully appointed and located…

Beautifully appointed and located apartments in Seville. The apartments are light and airy and ours, for a family of 4 were really spacious. They have everything you could need for self catering, although we were only staying for 2 nights so didn't need an oven, dishwasher or washing machine.
There is a small pool and sunbathing terrace on the roof which provided a fabulous relief from the heat of the city.

We have just returned from San Sebastián Villa Buda very disappointing

We have just returned from San Sebastián having stayed at Villa Buda rented through Friendly Rentals the position of the property was very convenient for the beach and the old town , that’s the positives on arrival we were met by the Macarena who insisted that I pay her cash when I pointed out that the invoice stated we could pay by card or cash she insisted on cash, some 1175.00 euros which took several visits to cash machines due to daily limits. We were told to leave it on the kitchen table as she has an office in the garage and would collect it later and not to worry about the noise coming from the garage when she is there with her two children husband and the dog? We where under the impression that we had rental the whole house evidently not. The pictures you supplied shows garden furniture with sun loungers and an umbrella on the table and chairs this was not there the table and chairs we’re filthy which we cleaned ourselves the whole house was filthy the washer dryer well the dryer did not work and the freezer door was jammed up with ice. Ants all over the kitchen the towels smelled musky plus the dust everywhere.
This is described as a luxury house unfortunately for us this was not the case. The total cost was 1550.00 EUR I expected the house to be cleaned if you would like photos I have them.

My experience at Friendly Rentals…

My experience at Friendly Rentals Madrid was great. The apartment was located right in the middle of downtown Spain, walking distance from the Royal Palace and La Gran Via. It was very spacious, very clean, had lots of space to hang dry your clothes, 2 full bathrooms, and it even had Central Air Conditioning! (Most places don't have A/C). It was easy to find and had all different types of convenient stores right outside the apartment open late unlike many other Airbnb's in Europe. Thanks

Perfect accommodation

Perfect accommodation for 4 people, close to the Metro station and also pretty close to the city center. The apartment was clean and fully equipped, the terrace is lovely.
Would definitely come back or book with Friendly Rentals again, in one of their various locations.

Friendly Rentals does not post negative reviews about their rentals

I stayed five days at a rental in Barcelona - I provided positive and negative feedback and Friendly Rentals ONLY posted the positive feedback and not the negative - that means that I will not use them again because I WANT to see the negatives - the negatives were that the heat did not work, they had no spare towels or toilet paper (I have never had to go out and buy toilet paper for a lodging), no incidentals (salt, oil), in the kitchen (this was a "premium" place), dust bunnies under the bed, and for the price, the apartment was very basic and low end furniture. I stayed at many lodgings throughout my month in Europe and this is the ONLY one that did not provide a welcome chocolate/wine/etc.

We are sorry to read the heating did not work, we have our own maintenance service and we could have fixed it immediately if you would have contacted us. We always offer a welcome package for our guests (that includes all the basics such as salt, toiletries etc), but as we rent out apartments and are not a hotel, we do not enter the apartment ones our guests are checked in for security reasons. Would NOT recommend!! Our stuff was stolen!

I would NOT recommend this place! We checked in at the Barcelona office, left our place an hour later, came back a few hours later and our computer, iPad, camera, credit cards, and some jewelry were stolen. There was no forced entry and the door was locked (we triple checked before we left) so it was clearly someone associated with FR that had a key and knew we just checked in. We called FR that night and sent several emails. They did nothing for us! When we went to the office the next day, they "had no idea" and did not offer to help except to say we could go stay somewhere else and they would refund us, but nothing about our lost items. Luckily, Air bnb was able to find another place for us to stay. We filed a police report and were told this not the first time they heard their name associated with theft , so they will be looking into it. This company posts properties on air bnb under fake names like "Claudia" so that it appears you are renting from a person. They are shady, and not trustworthy. You don’t want to start your vacation like this!

Friendly Rentals is a company that rents thousands of short and longterm apartments all over Europe for more than 16 years, and we pride ourselves in the quality of our apartments and above all customer service. 98% of the customers would book with us again, you can read the reviews on Airbnb and our own website. Unfortunately, theft can happen in big cities and Barcelona is not immune to this, this is the reason why it is essential to properly lock the apartment, which was not the case.

We would have immediately changed you to another apartment but had no availability to do so at the time.

We are official partners with Airbnb for several years now, and as we explain in our description Claudia is our employee, you can also find our company logo as our profile picture, and further information about Friendly Rentals in our profile.

Ones again we would like to extend our apologise that you had to go through such horrible experience and completely understand your anger and frustration in this matter, even if it is due to no fault of our own, we are glad that you and your family were unhurt.

Modern apartments in old town Sevilla

Great modern apartment in middle of Sevilla old town.
We did find two elevators, one directly to garage, so very easy to bring luggage up an down.
Very nice open walkways to apartments.
Definetly considering Friendly Rentals Tempa Museum for next visit to Sevilla.

Ideal apartments

We love these apartments. We stayed for the 2nd time just recently and we will definitely return when visiting our son again.
The apartments are very clean and modern and very well equipped. The shower is super and the large, comfortable bed is ideal. The building is in a lovely neighbourhood, close to restaurants and the metro but yet quiet at night.
Check in is friendly and informative and staff are always at hand to help if needed.
I have no hesitation in recommending these apartments to travelers and , as I said previously, I look forward to a return visit.

cancelled my booking 6 days before travel!!

Booked sn apartment in the centre of Valencia 9 months ago and paid a deposit.the booking was for 10 people in one apartment. 6 DAYS BEFORE OUR FLIGHT they cancelled our booking and offered us 2 separate apartments near the beach which is miles out of Valencia centre which is where we need to be. Only a few days before we were asked to input all details of the party going including passport details etc for them to cancel it a few days later.
As you can imagine trying to source another apartment for 10 people with the same budget we have set aside (bearing in mind we travel in less than a week!) is absolutely ridiculous. One of the party members is disabled so a beach apartment when we need a central one is hardly meeting our requirements! To say we are disappointed is an under statement. To take a booking on an apartment 9 months before and then cancel 6 days before is disgusting! If I was to cancel I would lose money on my deposit - but when it’s the other way round we are given nothing in compensation apart from an apartment miles away that would end up costing us loads in taxis. Hardly fair or ‘friendly’ In my opinion.
I will never use this company again and would advise anyone else considering doing so to also look elsewhere!
