I’ve been really impressed with this company overall. As someone with severe eczema, finding a soap that doesn’t irritate my skin has always been a challenge and the price of most “natural” bars just feels insane, many are £7–£15 each or more. What I love about these soaps is that they’re actually natural. The ingredient list really only contains the four basics, coconut oil, shea butter, rapeseed oil and water, and nothing hidden or fragranced that sets my skin off. That simplicity has made a noticeable difference. My flare-ups feel calmer, my skin doesn’t sting after washing, and my moisturiser absorbs so much better afterward. My skin is brighter, smoother and retains moisture much better. The ones I’ve found work best for my eczema are Cleansing Bar Shea Butter and Aloe Vera Natural Soap.

I originally ordered the Natural Soap Full Range to try all the different kinds. The second one I tested was unfortunately too harsh on my eczema. This is where the customer service really stood out. Caroline was a darling, super quick to reply, genuinely understanding about sensitive skin, and happy to let me exchange the unopened boxes for the ones that work best for me. She even suggested which bars other customers with eczema have found soothing. The replacement arrived promptly. Their delivery is always incredibly speedy and that level of care was really appreciated.

On top of that, the affordability is great, especially when you consider that for the price of one “high-end natural” soap you can get 5–6 of these. It makes it much easier to keep a consistent routine without worrying about cost.

Overall, this has genuinely helped with my eczema, feels truly natural, and they back it up with quick, thoughtful service. I will definitely order again.

I won't be buying this soap again. I bought the Patchouli & Sandlewood because I love the smell of patchouli. This soap is so disappointing !!! The patchouli fragrance is "very faint" on the skin and after showering the fragrance is hardly noticeable on my skin. Also, it is only a 95g bar and I was shocked at how quickly the soap bar disappeared. I usually buy a 100g patchouli bar, from another soap company. By contrast,that one lasts weeks longer & smells much stronger of patchouli than the friendly soap. The only good thing I can say about the friendly soap is that it is creamy & moisturising. However, I won't be buying it again & I DON'T RECOMMEND IT !

Fantastic soap which lathers well. I am delighted with the scent, its amazing and lasts a long time. The soap bar shampoo tames even my precocious hair! I will be back for more

Love their soap, it doesn't dry my skin and smells lovely. I have been using it since April 2024.

The products are great - we use their laundry powder and lots of their soap. They always deliver quickly, they respond to emails, they’re just fab. (Plus Ethical Consumer rates them really highly).

Really impressed. Been using them regularly for a couple of years now.

They have always delivered swiftly, and the soap is great quality. I use their travel soap the whole time. Does hair, body and shaving in one. Works just as well as (better than?) More traditional soaps and shampoo but with less bulk, no plastic, and fewer chemicals. Much kinder on the skin. They claim it does laundry too, but I can't vouch for this.

The only downside I have found is that the soap doesn't keep it's fragrance as well liquid soap if kept for prolonged periods, but it is fine for a few months, so I just order smaller batches.

I much prefer to support small businesses and when we couldn’t buy what we needed from our local shop, I placed an order online from these people, paying for it promptly with my PayPal account.
After placing the order, I realised I should’ve included 2 additional items, so contacted them via email, only 55 minutes after placing the order AND gave them a number of options, including my home Landline number and my PayPal account email (for payment adjustment).
This was IGNORED and I only received a pathetic excuse from them AFTER my order was delivered, over 3 days later.
Simply, AVOID using them on a FRIDAY, as they are too busy to cope, but THIS IS NOT STATED ON THEIR WEBSITE. Nobody answers the phone either, apparently, on a Friday!
The soap I bought is excellent and one we much prefer to use, after trying many different types since early 2020 (Covid-19 driven). It’s just a pity this excellence is NOT reflected in their Customer Service.
I am now looking elsewhere for a supplier of quality natural soaps and associated extras, that is trustworthy in every aspect.

Soap, shampoo bars, laundry powder - all great!
I've used their products for years and I don't get any skin or allergy problems with any of them.
(Tip: if you're not using their laundry powder straight away, put it in an air tight bag or container so moisture doesn't get in and harden the powder.)

Purchase some soaps here for mother's day. They were delivered promptly and smell lovely. My mother in law absolutely loves these!

The best eco shampoo bars I've tried! I've used a number of brands, and they all have flaws - typically feeling too aggressive, or smelling a bit odd. This stuff is great - I use the minty flavour, and I love it.

Beautiful products, amazing smells and great for all skin types.

Great soaps at really good prices. The company seem very ethical and use quality products as well as paying their workers fair wages.
