I would rate zero if i could for their bate and switch tactics concerning their "Fit Promise" program. I tried for months to get a resolution, providing all documentations and receipts of proof. I got the run around constantly with them hoping I would just go away. I hope the up to $300 rebate for having to modify my cabinet is worth all of the honest reviews I am going to leave.

Blew me off till 1 year warranty expired so they didn't have to fix anything.

I purchased an appliance package in April last year that included a Frigidaire built in oven. We didn't get it delivered till mid-July and due to renovation delays it didn't get installed till end of August. I noticed right away that the door was not aligned properly and would sometimes not close because of this issue. I called to get a service technician to come fix the problem and was told they would be in touch with me. Well, they never called. Over and over again I was told they would contact me and that didn't land up happening till March this year. The technician didn't actually do anything but did try to tell me that the problem was likely due to installation. I tried telling them that there is no way installation caused the problem, but he wouldn't listen to me. They left and made their report which resulted in Frigidaire refusing to fix the issue and by the time they got back to me about this it was already April. I tried reaching out to Frigidaire directly and they ignored me till the 1 year warranty was over so could blow me off completely. I will never trust their products or warranty again. Stay far away from Frigidaire / Electrolux products.

Fridge busted in less than 6 months.

Bought a house in 2025, November time frame. The fridge was made by frigidaire in october of 2025. late february it started having probelms. Died in march. Its not gettinng to the end of april and they still havent gotten it fixed. bounce us around 4-5 bussinesses to try and fix it and did nothing for all our lost food and costs. Currently my fridge either freezes stuff or lets it rot. But the company still tries to sell me on an extended warranty.

Fridge failed after 7 months

Fridge failed after 7 months. Also, the casters damaged my floor even though the old fridge (different brand) never damaged my floor.

Do not buy this brand unless there is literally nothing else available to purchase.

Customer service required bulldozing through chatbots and refusing to click bubbles until I could talk to a person. Then I got disconnected and had to repeat every single thing to a new customer service rep.

They scheduled a service call without asking my availability, without verifying I was even available that day or time, and with an unreasonably broad time window the tech might show up in.

Update:
I felt like I need to edit this. I don't think Frigidaire deserves the extra 2 stars. But the repair guy that Electrolux sent deserves 10 out of 5 stars. He drove probably an extra hour and a half to come fix my fridge and he had it fixed fast, he was super nice, and my fridge works now. But I attribute the customer service 100% to HIM, not necessarily to Frigidaire.

However, I did not want a bad review to get blamed on him somehow even though I left it before the repair appointment even happened, so I am updating my review to 3/5 stars. My fridge failed -- but it was fixed the next day thanks to the repairman, who could have easily rescheduled but went out of his way to come fix it anyway. And my food did not go bad.

All the same, Frigidaire needs to get their act together and stop creating situations where a brand new fridge needs to be repaired after 7 months in the first place.

Frigidaire Doesn't Care

Over 174,000 Frigidaire gas ranges have been recalled due to a serious burn hazard from delayed bake burner ignition. Let that sink in. They don't really know how many there may be, but it is a number greater than 174,000. I have one and only get a stone wall. Seven years old and it is off to the dump with it.

My chemical ice cubes produced by 20 cu ft top freezer…

My purchased a 20 cu ft top freezer Frigidaire refrigerator. It works beautifully but the ice maker is producing ice w a chemical smell and taste. Customer service has sent appliance repair 2x, the first couldn’t find the problem, the second said “you need a replacement “. Now they say we need to send a third appl. Tech & the Sears tech says we can’t come til we have a virtual chat. So if you like AI & you have lots of time to be on hold, Frigidaire is happy to serve.
Didn’t even need a fridge, just tired of making ice. I have to run it’s time to use those ice trays again!
Disappointed Lowe’s customer.

Poorly made, Not the company the used to be

We Purchased a Gallery 27" Wall oven Microwave unit. About 6 months after installing noted the CHEAP finish coating on the handle was thinly applied and scratching to the bases Stainless steel handle.
We had purchased Frigidaire's 5 YEAR FULL COVERAGE extended warranty. We called an were told the FULL COVERAGE WARRANTY excluded the finish on the unit. But they did offer to sell us a spray can of the CHEAP PAINT they use for 34.00.
I Might ask WHAT DOES FULL COVERAGE IMPLY?
I will add that it is just the wife and I using it. We only wear a gold band wedding ring and neither of us have long nails.
Just recently the light bulb in the Microwave began flickering. I was told to call back when it went out altogether as it was still considered to be working.
One would think replacing the bulb would be a simple thing. NOT!!!!
the entire unit has to be removed, the microwave separated, it's cover removed and then you can access the bulb. I called ahead to the SUPPORT and was given the WRONG pat number and description for the bulb.
It was not a readily available incandescent bulb as I was told but rather an LED in a special housing. Fortunately I have an engineering background and found a suitable substitute LED assembly at Home depot made by Feit electronics, Model # BP20G8/830/LED/HDRP
NOTE: This does require the ability to solder.
But it was less that 1/3 the price of Frigidaire's price.
I would encourage shopping around as the Feit item is available elsewhere cheaper yet

Six Months of Light Use and the Control Board Failed

I purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher in October 2024 for a rental property. The tenant did not move in until August 1, 2025, and the unit completely failed in March 2026. That is less than two years from purchase and only about six months of actual use. The home is occupied by just two people, so this unit has not seen heavy use at all.

My tenant is excellent and takes great care of the property. The failure was not caused by misuse in any way. A technician inspected the dishwasher and confirmed that the main control board has failed. I was also told it is out of the one year warranty, and the repair cost would be over $500. At that point, it makes more sense to buy a brand new dishwasher.

This is unacceptable. Appliances at this price point should last far longer than this. A major component should not fail in under two years, especially with light use. Paying hundreds of dollars to repair something this new feels unreasonable and extremely frustrating.

It is disappointing that a major component fails so quickly. Consumers should reasonably expect durability and meaningful warranty coverage for essential household appliances. At that point, replacing the dishwasher seems like the only logical option, which should not be the case for such a recent purchase.

Very disappointed in the quality and reliability. I expected much better durability. This experience makes it hard to recommend Frigidaire dishwashers. Very disappointing experience.

MARK is a very good Service Representative

Called Electrolux/Frigidaire Group 4/3/26 regarding a problem with my gas range I’ve only had 3 1/2 mos. The SERVICE REPS NAME is “MARK.” He was very courteous and very helpful. Explained things very well and had much patience with my many questions. He was very knowledgeable on the Frigidaire gas range I was calling about. MARK is the BEST REP I have had in many calls about home products & appliances. He deserves to be commended for the knowledge he has and the way he performs his job. Thank you very much MARK. I bought 2 ice makers in June

I bought 2 ice makers in June. In January one of them died, the button to make ice stopped working. Therefore it cannot make ice. In February my other one died from a different issue. It sounded like a motor problem. I contacted customer service about both. These are separate claims, in separate emails, with different claim numbers. It is now April. With no replacement being sent. This is actually crazy. Both of my ice makers fall under warranty. They take forever to respond to emails. I sent back all the information and pictures they requested. I cannot believe that I have gone MONTHS without any kind of replacement or a refund check being sent. We have low iron in this house...we eat ice constantly. To have to go this long without a replacement is ridiculous. Big companies have no problem taking your money as quick as possible but within 2 months cant manage to send a replacement? I think that says all we need to know about the company.

My first experience concerned a new…Range and washer dryer stack set.

My first experience concerned a new slide in range. Sales clerk ordered wrong range, as I had already disposed of my old range I opted to keep it rather than wait 2 more weeks for the right one. First time turned the oven on it omitted a foul odor. I thought it was just the new burning off, but the smell continued, technician came out, nothing wrong, smell has to wear off. Two months later another technician same answer.
Today I tried to call Frigidaire, was told to call back every one was busy. I went to chat, Nita answered the chat, told me to thoroughly clean the interior in case there may be some burned residue. I sent her pictures of the interior of my Range!! I make it a point to wipe out the oven as well as the burners after each use. After she received the pictures she informed me if the smell persists to contact them again. After an hour chatting nothing was resolved! 🤔 why bother!
Had I known that their service was so poor, to say the least, I would never have purchased a Frigidaire appliance!
So peeps do yourself a favor and stay away from Frigidaire and Electrolux products!
Speaking of Electrolux🙄 I purchased a washer dryer stack set, the washer on washes in hot water (cold water is hooked up) not to mention the high spin cycle leaves clothes still pretty wet and don’t wash a small load on the 15 minute cycle it doesn’t spin them. I have to wait 2 weeks for another set, which is this Friday April 3rd, we’ll see how that’s going to work.
I will never purchase any other Frigidaire or Electrolux product.

FORMAL COMPLAINT: Incompetent warranty service

To the Frigidaire Corporate Team,
I am writing this email to express my absolute rage and disappointment with the handling of my warranty claim. I have been without a functional cooktop for nearly a month, and the level of incompetence I have encountered is unacceptable for a brand-new appliance that failed after only two months.
After an initial technician visit, I was told two parts were required for the repair. Since then, the process has been a total disaster:
First Attempt: I waited 10 days only to receive one of the two necessary parts.
Second Attempt: After calling to report the error, I was assured the correct part was coming. Instead, you sent the exact same part I already had.
Third Attempt: I escalated this to a manager who promised to "expedite" the missing part. However, I was told I still have to wait another 7 to 10 business days.
I am tired of getting the runaround. Every time I call, no one is held accountable, and I am left with a useless appliance and a kitchen I cannot use. At this point, your warranty process is a failure.
If this is how Frigidaire treats its customers, I will never purchase another product from your brand, and I will be sharing this experience on every review platform available. I expect an immediate resolution—either the correct part overnighted to my home or a full replacement of the unit.

AVOID FRIGIDAIRE AND ELECTROLUX AS PONTENTIAL FUTURE APPLIANCES!

My experience with Frigidaire is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I purchased four appliances, and two of them were not working properly right from the start. What followed was an ongoing ordeal marked by incompetence, lack of timely service, and consistently poor customer support.

I escalated my concerns to Costco, but even with their involvement, there has been little progress and long delays between any meaningful communication. At one point, I was without a gas cooktop for over three weeks, which made managing dietary restrictions extremely difficult.

Appointments were scheduled with third-party service providers, but in some cases, they were never even informed, resulting in me taking time off work and waiting around for nothing. After getting nowhere, I had no choice but to hire my own technician and pay $220 out of pocket for repairs, half a day off work and a loss.
To make matters worse, I also experienced food loss due to freezing and spoilage for which appointments booked through 2 companies were then cancelled then booked again, causing confusion.

At this stage, I am seriously considering escalating this further through consumer protection channels, small claims court, and potentially having Costco remove all of the appliances altogether.

Whatever you do, avoid this company. In my experience, they have fallen short in every possible way.
They truly do not deserve anything but a 0/5.

This refrigerator was just a year old…

This refrigerator was just a year old last month and I have had trouble with it ever since. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER BUYING A FRIGIDAIRE.
I have had 4 service calls on it and now again it is acting up.
Cools fine for awhile and then starts to get moisture in it and the temp goes up into the 40's and 50's and milk goes sour.
Thank goodness I have a service contract on it but it's definitely not a good buy.

Frigidaire microwave replacement

Recently I had to replace an 11 year old over the range microwave. It was a Frigidaire and because the unit had given good service I elected to replace it with a new Frigidaire. The price on the new model, which was a Gallery was fair and the engineers that designed the new unit did not neglect to put the same mounting hardware and specifications from the 11 year old design into the new product. Replacement and installation was a breeze. Great product and simple to install! Thanks Frigidaire!

Do NOT recommend

We received our stove November 2024, it didn't work correctly from the very beginning. We have had a terrible experience, a technician has been sent out 8+ times now. Several parts have been changed(some of them TWICE) and our stove still does not work correctly. They tell us over and over they will replace it if the next part doesn't fix it then just send the technician again and again. We have been going through this since for a year and 3 months and still do not have a working stove, we were also told if we bought the extended warranty we could get a new stove but that also DID NOT happen! If you are looking at this stove or anything Fridgidaire brand, I would steer clear!

Very unprofessional and poor customer…

Very unprofessional and poor customer service. I paid in advance for my appointment and the technician failed to show TWICE! Further, they had the audacity to cancel abd reschedule my appointments after I'd already taken off from work and waited at home the entire day! This company is so horrible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB!
