Horrible product

I never searched Trustpilot reviews before buying my Frigidaire over/under washer and dryer Quiet Pack. Judging by the reviews for this company I really should have checked. This washer dryer combo is horrible! It has a feature called balance load. And depending on how much clothes you put, you will most likely get a balance load error message. I was in a hurry to get a wash done before sundown. I had two hours to do the wash. I hour for washing and an hour for drying. I put the clothes on about 2:15 pm and by the time the sun went down I still had a balance load error on the machine. My wet clothes will sit in the washer until I can figure out what to do. I can't pull soaking wet clothes out and put them in again because sometimes this doesn't work either. Very, very poor design. It must have been designed by some man who thought he would design a better machine. We see how that went with the Ford focus. Crappy car crappy washing machine. It saddens me that they don't even respond to reviews.

Spoiled Christmas

Came home Christmas eve to find our one month old freezer had stopped working. All our food was wasted. That included our Christmas dinner. About $500 plus of food. We are in our 70's and can't afford to replace all that food. I spoke to several customer service people, yes, they are going to come fix the freezer....no they are not going to give us anything for the food. I talked to so many people that one person finally broke down and sent me a $50 card for food. Really? Frigidaire doesn't care about their elderly customers.

Defective oven

My son brought me a “brand new” stove for my birthday in September. However, model FCRE3052AS and serial number vf53672298 is a defective appliance. I turned the oven on and it filled my apartment with so much gas, I almost fainted. When the technician came out he said it needed a new gas reflector because the one that is there is putting out too much gas. It has been three months and I still don’t have a working oven and they will technicians have cancelled at least five appointments. At this point I want them to give me a refund and come collect their defective product. This might be a small claim court case.

Delivery team hates their job

Delivery team seemed determined to make as poor of an impression as they good. Everything was a problem. Nothing was easy. It was like it was their first ever install and they were allergic to manual labor. Then to top it off I can hear them talking smack about me, literally five outside my screen door at full volume. The proceeded to tell that no one would do for me what they do and that I should be happy they were do it it. Never mind, I was the one one all the prep work. They also lost the paperwork for removal of the old appliance and refused to take it. (Okay, that one I'll give them, just cause) But they damaged it so bad they have to bring a new one to immediately replace it. Day of replacement? They overbooked and sent a text at 8 the night before telling me 'Oops', we'' reschedule for next year / month. I can't even get a freezer in new condition to test out. There's no way they get a good review. Last one I buy from them.

Not giving up on Frigidaire …

My still under warranty Frigidaire gas range started to leak gas only when oven is on.
Contacted Frigidaire, they dispatched a technician to check it out. The technician said that he needed to replace a part, and that the part would be delivered to my address and for me to contact them when the part arrives, which I promptly did. But I also informed them that I didn’t believe that the part was the correct one. I told them what was delivered and they said that it was the correct part.
Today, 3 days before Christmas with 17 family members coming from 4 states to not only celebrate Christmas, but our wedding anniversary, the technician returned and informed me that the part that was delivered and the part that I had told them about, was not the correct part, and that there is no way to have our range repaired until after Christmas.
If I were financially able to move the festivities and celebrations elsewhere, I would.
We will do the best we can with what we have and we will keep our heads up. I will also not talk down about a company that has always been reliable and of high quality when it comes to their customers.
I’m saddened this Christmas, but my heart is not broken.
Merry Christmas to all the wonderful staff and employees at the Frigidaire Family 🤟🏽

HORRIBLE REPAIR SERVICE!!

HORRIBLE REPAIR SERVICE!!! This was my first new refrigerator purchase ever, and we bought a new Frigidaire side-by-side. It didn't even last 3 weeks before the fan motor went out, freezing our vegetables below, spoiling the creamer up high, and melting all the ice in the ice maker. We reported the issue, got a technician out fairly quickly, but then things got worse. Electrolux did not have the actual part in the repair inventory, but supposedly had a similar part. That part was on back-order. The frustration really came week after week when neither myself nor my repair tech could get an update on where the part was, when it could be delivered, or what other options we had. After a month passed, my tech finally found a repair part by himself, but we'll see if it works. A good company would have replaced the entire refrigerator as soon as they couldn't repair it in a timely manner. Once they have your money, they could care less about you. Highly DON'T recommend, and will make sure I know what brands fall under the Electrolux umbrella and avoid them in the future.

Dangerours gas stove

Dangerours gas stove, had a new oven fitted in October, had an overwhelming smell of gas everytime it was used and was told 'oh it is just the smell of a new oven'. This continued so I called out PG&E and he said the oven has a delayed ignition and it is filling up with gas before igniting and shut the gas off to the oven immediately. We are still waiting for them to come and repair it, the repair person showed up and said 'Oh i know that the issue is, this model is faulty I am fixing loads of them but I do not have the part to repair it today'. So he said he ordered the part and would be back in a week, well the day has come and the part has not been ordered and they claimed that the technician showed up today and we REFUSED the repair. This company is beyond terrible, the customer service call center is shocking. I would stay clear of this brand.

DANGEROUS GAS STOVE

We had purchased from Lowes a Frigidaire gas stove Model # FCRG306LAFG in November of 2025.We first used the stove prior and on November 24th. When we went to use the oven there was an overwhelming odor of gas that filled the house and then the oven ignited with a loud "whoosh" and continued to fill the house with gas that made sick both my wife and I. Whenever she opened the oven door to baste the food the same thing happened again when it was closed. The entire house, two floors and a basement was filled with the smell of gas making us sick. We called our gas company who immediately sent out an employee to check it out the gas employee after his investigation stated that gas was filling the burner but not igniting until the burner was filled with gas, instead of igniting as the gas entered the burner (I have the gas company report). Frigidaire was called and a week later they sent a repair person out but did not do any repairs as he said that Frigidaire stated to him that this was a normal operation every time the oven is used. What l am concerned about is that the burner may Fali to ignite and gas will become concentrated in the stove causing it to explode WHEN IT DOES IGNITE and cause death or injury The gas company man stated to me that this was the third complaint that just he has had about this issue. Until itis fixed Lowes and Frigidaire should investigate and/or recall this issue before someone loses their life. Lowes will be made aware of the issue today. EVERYTIMEAGAIN,WHEN THE OVEN IS USED THERE IS THIS OVERWHELMING GAS FILLING THE HOME.
THIS IS A PRODUCT SAFETY ISSUE…update 12/10/2025 what made the matter worse was that the tech they sent out who could barely speak English lied to his boss telling him the he inspected the stove and found nothing wrong. I should have videoed the lying SOB. He did nothing, no inspection of burners and no inspection with the oven. He said there was nothing that he can do. So, because of his moronic lying Frigidaire will do nothing. I hope that if others have experienced this faulty oven, they seek a consumer safety issue and like I, look at a class action suit since my gas company said this is the third complaint they got in a month.

Gaslighting at its finest!!

Ordered a new fridge online for black friday. Did home delivery, chose my delivery date, selected installation and removal of old fridge. Got email with my order, delivery date and my ship to/delivery address. Then I get an email that my delivery date was a conflict and to contact frigidare to choose a new date. I did online chat. Girl tells me nothing is wrong and my PICK UP DATE is the day I chose at Best Buy in NORTH CAROLINA when I live in PENNSYLVANIA!!! I told them there's a mistake because I clearly did delivery and sent her the screenshot of my order. Nope!!! She kept stating i must have mistakenly clicked pick up when I ordered. There's no way to select pick up and also select a delivery date and installation and haul away of old appliance!!!!! I even went back on the website to do another mock order to prove I didnt mess up. She insisted I messed up and all she could do was cancel my current order and reorder it and set up delivery. Meanwhile my credit card would be charged AGAIN and id have to wait 7-10 days to receive the original purchase refund. In this day and age, they cant just fix their mistake and switch it to delivery???? No, just continue to gaslight me and make me think im crazy. I will pay a few hundred more to order thru my local home depot to ensure Im getting what I want and will never buy from this worthless company again.

Hours on Live Chat dropped repeatedly, hours on phone hold dropped repeatedly

Hours on Live Chat, dropped many times. Hours on phone waiting for live person, then forced to call back request, or auto hang up. Poor communication with cust service rep when she wasn't clear on top or bottom bin, called them 1st and second bin. Got snippy, then rude, when I asked for clarification. Then could not, provide link for cust survey, or an email or a phone for making complaint. Over 2 days.

Terrible Customer Service

After clearing my entire day so I could be available for the 8-5 window I was given for today, I received an email at 6:45 this morning telling me that the service technician would not be coming and that I needed to call to reschedule. Below are their rules regarding service calls:

Cancellation Window:
If a customer cancels their appointment before 12 PM (noon) the day prior to the scheduled service event, a full refund will be issued within 3-5 business days.

If a customer cancels their appointment after 12PM (noon) the day prior to the scheduled service event, a non-refundable Cancellation Fee (Trip Fee) will apply.

Cancellation Fee:
The Cancellation Fee, also known as trip fee, is collected when the service appointment is initially scheduled and is non-refundable if the customer cancels after the cancellation window.

According to their rules, if the appointment is not canceled by 12pm the day before, a cancellation fee (trip fee) will be charged and is non-refundable. That was about $350 for me. My service call for today was cancelled today at 6:45am which is certainly not within their Cancellation Window.

I called customer support to reschedule and asked for a discount on my pre-paid service call, as I had to arrange my entire day today to accommodate the 8 hour service window I was given. Because of their cancellation, I also needed to clear my day for my rescheduled service appointment. If I had cancelled my appointment the morning of the day it was scheduled for, they would have kept the entire $350. It seems to me that since these are the rules they have for customers, they should honor those rules and have a cancellation fee (or discount applied) for the inconvenience and trouble they have put me through.

After not getting a response to my request for a discount, I tried calling twice and was disconnected both times so I did a chat.

When I was told that they could not apply a discount, I asked to cancel the rescheduled appointment and was told they could not assure me of a full refund because, get this, I was beyond the 12 noon of the day before cancellation deadline.

Unbelievable. I will never purchase another appliance from Frigidaire and will never bother to use their "customer service" department either for the appliances I currently own.

Frigidaire / Electrolux Canada – Extremely Poor Product and Post-Sales Support

I purchased a high quality dehumidifier online in late June from a major retailer. The order was fulfilled and shipped directly by Electrolux/Frigidaire Canada and arrived on July 9th.
Right out of the box, the humidity sensor was defective — reading 20–25% lower than the actual humidity. When the unit was running, the displayed humidity would quickly drop from about 40% (actually 60%) to 30%, causing the dehumidifier to shut off almost immediately.
Frigidaire/Electrolux Canada’s support initially acknowledged that the sensor was faulty but explained that replacement parts were unavailable, the unit could not be repaired, and they do not offer replacement units. My only option was to go through their buyback program. A case was opened, and the buyback team contacted me the next day requesting photos, proof of purchase, and other documentation, which I provided immediately.
That’s when I learned that the refund would only cover the base retail price — excluding all taxes and any shipping fees. There was no way to appeal or negotiate this policy.
Then came four weeks of silence. On August 12th, I was told that my refund had been processed and that I’d be contacted within 48 hours by the payment provider. That never happened. In early September, the payment provider confirmed that Electrolux Canada had never actually opened my case file with them.
Repeated attempts to reach the buyback team went unanswered, and the main customer service line was unable to assist further, saying the case was now “with the buyback department.” I had no other way to contact anyone.
Eventually, I had to file a formal complaint through the Better Business Bureau, which handles both U.S. and Canadian complaints for Electrolux. After multiple exchanges, Electrolux finally corrected an internal issue that had prevented my case from being processed. On October 6th — three months after reporting the defect — I finally received my refund, minus the taxes I had paid.
This was by far the worst post-sale experience I’ve ever had. Not only did a brand-new, “premium” dehumidifier fail immediately, but the company’s customer service was unresponsive, disorganized, and required third-party intervention to resolve a straightforward refund.
With this experience behind me, I will never purchase another Frigidaire or Electrolux product. If this is how they handle a defective dehumidifier, I can only imagine the nightmare of dealing with a faulty refrigerator or range.
I strongly urge anyone considering a Frigidaire or Electrolux product to think twice before buying.

Frigidaire was a NO show for scheduled delivery and didn't care

We ordered $4300 of new kitchen appliances and had a terrible experience. Our scheduled delivery date was eight days after purchase, which is a long time when you need a new refrigerator. The delivery was confirmed the night before for between 8AM and Noon. I took the morning off work to be there for the appliance arrival. The delivery did not come. At 12:30pm I called Frigidaire Customer Service and was told it was running late, but would arrive within minutes. At 1:15PM I called customer service again and was told it may or may not be delivered. During this process we never received a call or any communication from the delivery team. The Frigidaire Representative was cold and indifferent when I told her I needed to go to work. I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and was told to hold. The customer Service rep returned to the line and would not let me speak to a supervisor. I asked for a $50 credit on my delivery fees for the inconvenience and was told no. The only options the rep gave me was to keep waiting and hope the delivery would be made or cancel the entire purchase of three appliances. I cancelled the entire order and will never do business with Frigidaire again.
