SCAMMERS

We booked a 90 minute bottomless brunch. The food was absolutely unreal, although the portions are small. We were immediately given a bottle of prosecco and we were regularly offered cocktails etc. Unfortunately, the assistant manager knocked my partners hand and spilled his drink all over his pants. The assistant manager didn’t apologise but just slammed a roll of blue roll onto the table and left us to deal with it.
After 90 minutes, he asked us for our final drink order and said our 90 minutes was up, so we all ordered our final drink.
Not long after, the assistant manager came over and told us our total was £150 and how would we like to split it. We questioned this as we were expecting a lower total. He said the £150 is for the two hour bottomless brunch, and we explained that we booked 90 minutes, had 90 minutes and had already ordered our ‘final’ drinks with him. He said ‘oh so do you want me to change the price or extend the booking?’. I fully believe he thought we were drunker than we were and was going to pocket the extra money. We weren’t very happy with these two incidents. We paid the bill and continued to finish our drinks.
Then, a bouncer approached our table and said ‘You can’t sit here and call the bar staff paedos’. Not going to lie, this made me laugh as they clearly got the wrong table or something. We called the assistant manager some other names but not that!
As we were getting ready to leave, the assistant manager waited until the men in our party headed to the loos to approach us (two young women) and shout at us for calling him a paedo! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, and we told him we called him a few other names after his horrific service but we had no reason to call him a paedo!
He absolutely ruined what would have been a great experience and he really should be investigated. After all, he’s the one who said paedo not us. Guilty conscience? I don’t know.
Don’t recommend, 2/10.
