Product failed on second use - no suppprt with Frogg Toggs customer service.

I purchased a pair of Frogg Toggs waders (MSRP $269.99) for a great deal. However, no deal is worth a product not functioning right out of the box. I purchased these to have a spare knowing my current waders were closing in on their end of life. It was about a year until I needed to use the new Fogg Toggs waders. The first time wearing them, for about 2 hours, I didn't really spend any time in the water. The second time wearing them (first time in water more than a few inches deep) the waders leaked through multiple seems. Both ankle areas started leaking when water was around my knee area. Then, the groin area started leaking when water reached my waist area. This was basically the first time these waders had been used in water. Bottom line, the waders basically failed right out of the box, an obvious manufactures defect. Frogg Toggs response was to “recommend a third party repair company that we have heard great things about. They specialize in wader repair”

Waterproof is NOT water resistant

A jacket I purchased as waterproof is not. Though it was out of warranty I contacted them with information regarding this and they asked for pictures that I sent. Minutes later AI came back and said no, it is out of warranty. I guess I had thought I might actually be talking with a real person as the pictures showed no wear and tear. If you read waterproof then that is product you are selling NOT resistant. Never again.

Worst work experience I’ve ever seen

They only hire through temp agencies. And after working with them for a little over a year they moved me to the department manager over packing and shipping. (pick verify)

This “promotion” was only the added stress with no extra pay. I never made more or less than $8.50/hr, and the employees hired after me to work in my department made $10.00/hr.

The people were good people, but everyone who works outside of the offices is mistreated and underpaid. Luckily I was able to find work elsewhere making substantially more money. However alot of the people who worked there simply could not find work elsewhere.

Not to mention they used to make umbrellas, these quickly left their product lineup due to them leaking on the user lol

Its a sad place, don’t work here or buy from here.
