Rude and Unfriendly
I contacted this company today to see if they might be able to provide VR software development services that my start up business is currently requiring. After a phone call from one of the co-owners, I really wish I hadn’t contacted them. The tone was unhelpful, very arrogant and completely unfriendly - to the point of rude and combative. I’m sure this wasn’t the image they would want for their business, but this is how it strongly came across to someone who made a genuine enquiry about their services.
Whilst they may not have been able to help with what I was asking, there is still no need for rudeness in business, especially when someone takes the time to make contact and show an interest in hiring your services.
Equally, there may have been the potential of them selling me something similar that they could provide from their own range, if they had shown more interest in discussing the current project I was developing - however there was no interest there at all, which seems curious from a business development perspective. Based on this experience, even if they had been able to provide services to me, this was not a company that seemed at all pleasant to deal with, or that I would want to be involved with.
I publish this review reluctantly following being really significantly taken aback after the call. This was a totally rude encounter that did require feedback being provided back to the owner.
