Customer service and devs hold one thing close to their heart. Talk with the customer base but talk at them, not with them. Devs barely give out info cause they are afraid of anyone giving critics. They also would much rather tell you why the game doesn’t work for you or why they don’t understand “how that happened when the system shouldn’t do that”. Terrible information sending. They feel, we as the gaming and spending side should communicate all the issues and problems ( so many tertiary apps already give them this info) instead when you ask about why my game did this. You get nots, nothing, nil. Pretty sure that is how the laid off employees feel too as it seems they did layoffs like the other big companies. Frontier we knew you once a long time ago.
they don't stick to their own eula and ban people without any kind of cooperation, this is a violation of European trade law, because you don't get your money back. I will never buy anything from frontier again, besides the corrupt support and the quality of the games.
Stay away from here.
Frontier is the most useless company to contact. No straightforward way to raise a Ticket, absolutely useless bunch of dimwits.
My experience with Frontier Developments and their account action support has been highly disappointing. I strongly advise against buying their games or supporting them until they can guarantee better quality and service for their users.
The issue began when I was banned from the game, supposedly for engaging in real-life trading with a friend to whom I had gifted the game via Steam. This ban came after I had dedicated over 152 hours of my time to playing the game. To my shock and frustration, I was hit with a permanent ban.
Frontier Developments' support team, if you can even call it that, has proven to be utterly unhelpful. Instead of resolving the issue promptly, it took them a staggering 45 days to address my concerns, a far cry from the promised 24-hour response time. Their actions, or lack thereof, left me feeling completely unsupported.
As a result of this ordeal, I reached out to ten of my friends who had also purchased the game and DLCs, and they all decided to request refunds due to the subpar quality of the downloadable content and the unprofessional manner in which the company handled the ban. It's clear that Frontier Developments needs to seriously reevaluate their response times, reasons for taking action, and overall customer service approach.
Dealing with Frontier Developments has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience, and I strongly caution others against getting involved with this company until they can assure a more respectful and user-friendly approach.
Trash low quality assurance their games released in something between Alpha testing and Beta testing and the users have to suffer from this low software quality assurance. Just DONT BUY THEIR GAMES OR SUPPORT THEM (until they can assure the quality for the end users).
Instead of testing they wait for users feedback on bugs to repair their broken games only lame studios do that.
