I'm fed up with using the Fuelman website. The site is slow, there are login issues, and it's hard to find the information I need. The whole experience is disappointing

Fuelman would not communicate with us before suspending our fleet cards, even when the bank had told them, they blocked ACH payments due to a breach on our account. When we were made aware of the issue, immediately contacted them and pay the account in full. They pulled the old bait and switch with us. Initially, the representatives came off so nice, we canceled gas cards and other cards to go with Fuelman, when they convinced us that they were business friendly and would be as a partner. This resulted in a week of calling and getting nowhere and 5 different answers. Our drivers were embarrassed when the cards didn’t work, product not on time, had to overnight other cards to drivers to be able to move their trucks. No one reached out to us, listened to us, nor have they responded to any communication. If this is how they treat their customers, whether it was 6 months or 6 days, they fooled us and they will fool you too!

Great customer service. The young lady I dealt with was patient and caring. She attended to my concerns and was able to fix my issues with ease.

Since opening our account in May 2025, we have repeatedly experienced problems generating reports independently. Each time we attempt to run standard usage or summary reports, the system returns:
“No data was recognized for the criteria entered. Please change your submission request and resubmit.”
All date ranges and account parameters entered are accurate, yet we continue to encounter this error.
To date, we’ve reached out multiple times via both chat and phone support. The chat queue can take anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes, and phone requests frequently require escalation tickets to produce even basic reports. After six months, there has still been no long-term resolution to this recurring issue.
This has significantly impacted our ability to manage and reconcile our fuel expenses internally. The level of dependency on customer service for basic reporting is not sustainable and does not align with the functionality and transparency that was advertised when we opened the account.

It seems the minute they were "taken over" by Corpay
Their financial "behavior" went insane
You pay and pay and pay until you've overpaid and they will NOT let you use the card
STAY AWAY
VERY VERY BAD
If I could give THEM a "negative review" just like my account is now( they owe me money
Despicable

If I could give Fuelman a zero star review I would. We are a small business and thought having a fuel card account would streamline our fuel purchases and it has been more than a headache than any other aspect of our business. Their online portal is not easy to use and I am very tech savy. There is a huge delay in payments posting to accounts which has caused our cards to be locked on numerous occasions even though we pay our balance to zero every week. This has caused our out of town crews to be stranded with no way to purchase fuel. When you call customer service you can not understand what they are saying and the representatives talk in circles and never give you straight answers or solve any issues.
They will flag transactions as fraudulent even when you have consistently used the same fuel station multiple times without issue. We honestly have nothing good to say about this company. Avoid this company at all costs.

I would give negative stars. Used them for about 2 years and at least 13 months with billing errors, each time taking hours to rectify. We would pay the invoice in full and wait for the credit, which is essentially floating on our money. Not a trustworthy company.

Good time was very easy to pay my bill over the phone and I appreciate it. The only thing I have to say is your phone number and back of your card is right where the account number is and you can’t read the number. Maybe that’s just my card I don’t know.

Thinking we could save money and better track our fuel costs, we decided to go with a FuelMan account. What a HUGE mess we got ourselves into. We open an account, received our full cards and started using them daily. It wasn't until our cards were shut off at week 3 that they told us that they invoice every 2 weeks. We were already behind the 8 ball at that point. Rather than writing a check every 2 weeks (knowing the USPS is not timely anymore) we sat up our account to pay invoices on the FuelMan website. Recently our cards were locked again even though our account balance was $0. We called FuelMan no less that 4 times asking why our cards were shut off. Each call we were transferred to 2-3 different people, all who told us they cannot tell us why our cards were inactive. We finally got tired of the run-around and cancelled our account. We won't be going back to FuelMan.
EDIT - In all fairness FuelMan did reach out to us the day after I posted my review to make matters right. While we appreciate the phone call, we are keeping out options open at this time. This may be a case where their call-center did not have the information available to them to inform us why our account was locked even though our account balance was $0, and they did not have the ability to reactivate our account so we could continue to use our fuel cards.

Terrible. You can't make a payment unless you give them your bank account number and routing number. Which I refuse and they say I can't pay no other way. I'll see them in court. And they have customer service from other countries.

I have been calling since last week to try to get cards and pins for 4 new employees. There was a lot of noise at the call center, and it seemed they did not understand me. I have never had trouble like this before, except when they kept telling me I needed to do it a certain way, but it seemed they didn't know how to do it. They put me on hold to ask questions more than once. Then the call got dropped, and I had to try again to get in and answer all the questions just to proceed. I understand that part, that was Thursday. Then on Friday, I was able to speak with someone who knew a little more; we were able to get the names into the system, but she didn’t know how to give the PIN, so that was another big problem. Then she tried to explain to me how to go into the system (Driven), but that again seemed difficult. Again, the call dropped. There were more questions, but this time the operator told me that the password was wrong and the credit limit was incorrect, even though I set up the account many years ago. The credit balance was different, and the code was also wrong, but I had never changed it. Somehow, the company that entered the code information replaced a P with a T, which caused another issue. Today I called again and tried to finish entering the information so I could get the pins for all four cards. I hope I did it right, but it took four days when it would only take about 30 minutes to complete the task. Those were great days.

Brett was great with helping us get our account set up and training on how to use the fuel cards at the pump.

This is the worst fuel company! To pay the invoice online they want you to put in your sign-in and password to your bank account! I have never had to do this with my other vendors! So I called and she told me I owed $1884 and I told her my invoice was more. She said the system would not allow her to take more than what she showed was owed, so I paid it. I get my next statement and I have $700 of late fees!! You got to be kidding me!! EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

This company doesn't know what they're doing. Initially, they lowered my credit score. Then, they sent me a card with a $500 weekly limit. I got the card. A while later, they sent me a letter saying my credit limit was zero. I bought gas once. They withdrew $100 from my account, and I had made $46.04. They kept the rest.
The weirdest thing is that companies like this, in order to keep their ratings high, block you from reporting or rating something on the Fuel Man app. There's an option there that says "put a nickname" but when you write something, it doesn't take any action directly. So, you can't write the content you want to complain about. There are many companies like this. If you open an account with the limits they give, your credit score will be lowered, and even if you're approved, they won't give you credit. And on top of that, if you win a ten-dollar bet, they withdraw $100 from your account and keep the $100 in their own account.

We had one of the better days working together with this company better than the other
None of them had ever been able to ask what more we considered to do or needs
Very reliable service

I have been a faithful Fuelman card holder (builderpro) for many years. The weather here was bad and I got behind and they took my account and put a lock on my account. After business picked up I called and paid my balance in full (about 4 weeks ago). I have not used my card in over 3 months. I get an email this week that I owe 89.90 current invoice while I have not been able to use my card. I called customer service said I needed to talk to finance dept and finance dept told me I needed to talk to customer service. Called back customer service to speak to a supervisor to be told I need to speak with finance. Noone is able to tell me what that charge is and why it is on there but that I owe it. How can I owe it when I have not used my card in over 3 months. But each one was able to tell me that my card was locked..like I didn't already know that!!! My temper got the best of me talking with them and keep wanting to transfer me. Hard to understand them speaking!!!!
