No response on email or phone

Used a few times before and was ok but recently I’m not being offered a quite. I’ve emailed to ask why but am still awaiting a response after 2 weeks. Tried calling too but it’s never answered. Word to the wise, you’re only as good as your last interaction.

Shocking and I have no fuel

Shocking. Took my order, allocated a supplier and a price and then heard nothing. Six days later I contacted both fuel tool and the supplier who blamed each other and said I was out of the delivery area. Either way I have no fuel. “Sorry” doesn’t really cut it I’m afraid.

I wish I had seen these reviews before…

I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered.
I received no confirmation email from fuel tool or the supplier. Fuel Tools phone is never answered so I contacted the supplier who have said they have my order on the system but no delivery date and they can’t give me one.
I tried to cancel with the supplier but they say I have to cancel with Fuel Tool. Fuel Tools website say cancellation has to be done with the supplier. Again Fuel Tool do not answer the phone.
I can get a next day delivery with a local supplier cheaper that the price Fuel Tool gave me but I can’t do that until I can cancel the first order.
Meanwhile I’m without heating or hot water. It 7 degrees inside my house and I have a serious illness.
Will will warn everyone to avoid Fuel Tool.

Used them a few times with no issues, This time I placed an order with them , Heard nothing , Emailed , No reply, Then went on my log in and they have cancelled my order , No notification , nothing, , Hope fully I have enough oil left to keep me going while I wait for another company who I have just placed an order with (£20 cheaper ) to deliver, Thanks Fueltool, You have lost my custom

Fuel Tool would never cancel an order without a valid reason. We would always attempt contact via the phone and email. As a last resort, if we were unable to get in touch, the order would be cancelled. You say you have used us in the past a few times. Which illustrates that you were happy with the service provided, enough to return. We strive to deliver a very high level of service and keep our customers happy. On this occasion, I don't think we deserve your 1 star review.

A good company, but getting pricey

I have used fueltool many times over the past ten years in Northern Ireland. They are reliable and my oil turns up either on the day it should or before.

Of late though - since January 2019 - I have started to shop around online with other suppliers. Fueltool have been the priciest by a long way. I saved £60 on 500 litres of Kerosene 28 Sec today by going elsewhere.

Fuel on time, no issues - Far SW UK

First time using the service everything went smoothly for delivery in Cornwall. Oil arrived within the 5 working day period. FuelTool was pretty quick and easy to use. HomeFuels Direct as the supplier with a Certas tanker attending. Got a text message the day before to say when delivery was expected, which was kept to. Imagine this may vary greatly depending on the supplier chain used and demand for your area but all good here in December!

I stand by my review of FuelTool

I stand by my review of FuelTool. Despite the reply from them. I did contact them re the discrepancy in price of fuel direct from the suppler and what I was charged very quickly, within 24 hours of placing the order.There had NOT been a price rise. The supplier admitted he was passing on his costs of belonging to the Fuel Tool Website. I do have the chain of emails showing all my communications and replies. FuelTool have promised me a refund many times, by BACS and cheque neither of which have occurred. IT MAY ONLY BE £6.30 due to me but for a pensioner every little counts, plus the website is being misleading in stating that the customer would get the best price. It is a shame that what could be a good and trustworthy company has let me down.

Scammed! I paid £477.75 for 1000 litres.

I paid £477.75 for 1000 litres for delivery on 1st April which didn't arrive, a message said the lorry had a pump failure and had to go back to the depot but they would arrive the next day with a small emergency tanker. When I checked there was nowhere near a full load. S&W Corporation did not respond to my complaint or leave a meter ticket. Sally Johnson at Fuel Tool said she wasn't responsible but I knew she was aware of all the previous fraud problems with Evolution Fuels with the same directors and was still dealing with them. I've reported to Trading Standards and to Action Fraud, Case No. NFRC190402936290 and NFRC190402937405 for those who want to make a fraud complaint. Steer clear!

Would give them no stars if I could

Would give them no stars if I could. Ordered oil 22nd March, still not had it, emailed them twice, no answer. Phoned them and they told us to go to bank to get the money back. The supplier they forwarded it on to was sandcorp ltd in southend. Wont call us back, said the tanker has broken down, now the driver is sick, every excuse under the sun and wont give us a refund. Had no fuel all over bank holiday. Disgraceful behaviour from both companies, will never use this site again. Beware people they are too much trouble.

I was very sceptical due to all the…

I was very sceptical due to all the negative reviews. due to the really good price offered I decided to take a punt and try them. I have to say the payment went through quickly and received a confirmation email to say payment had been taken by the oil company (not by Fueltool).
I was sceptical as I had got the oil 60 pounds (roughly) cheaper than boilerjuice and delivery within 2 days. I called the supplier the next day feeling somewhat hesitant but had confirmation delivery would happen on the Friday (day 2). As promised, the supplier arrived at 7.45am and all complete by 8.15am. No problems, hassle or concerns. I will definitely be using Fueltool again - I think the negative reviews are down to the suppliers rather than fuel tool and I appreciate FUeltool have limited recourse other than to remove poor suppliers from the database if they get problems reported. I'm happy with the service and cost.

Ordered oil through this site and was connected with Evolution Fuels.
December placed an order during freezing weather. I opted for the 3-week delivery for cheaper fuel.
Delivery promised 14 Dec. By 21st was going frantic. No response from anyone. Constant phone calls ignored (all logged) and if by any chance I spoke to a human being - they said Shaun Rowley would be back soon.!
Had elderly mother staying with us - house freezing - oil ran out. Had to put mum in a B&B else she would not have stood the cold.
Had to beg and borrow small quantities of oil from relatives to see us through Christmas.
Absolutely disgusting. I lost over £1,000 because Shaun Rowley is a crook.
I took out a County Court summons which was granted. But surprise, surprise, they were no longer trading out of Southend, and reg. company office was moved to Sheffield (I believe).
I didn't mind gambling the CCourt fee believing that would make them refund me. No - totally ignored.

FuelTool made endless promises to sort my money.
Eventually they stopped replying
Seems I can't move any further unless I pay another fee to send in the Bailiffs.
Totally disgusted. It was freezing, we had no oil. My mother was cold, it was over the Christmas holidays and I was constantly fobbed off that the delivery would come "next week".
When that 'promise' went into late January - I realised I had been conned.
Shaun Rowley should be in prison for fraudulent actions.
If anyone can get him into court - I will gladly lend my support.
