Full Fibre do not provide a reliable service.

Full Fibre installed the fibre network in our area about a year ago. We were connected 14 days ago by BeFibre and we have had no connection since installation. BeFibre have advised that the fault is with 3rd party equipment, however, the fault has not been rectified. We had no choice as to who provided fibre in our area, Full Fibre seem to have a monopoly. Even when the network is working, I am concerned what will happen if/when there is a fault. Openreach seemed to resolve issues with our copper connection fairly quickly, I just hope we will have the option of openreach in the future, but I suspect not.

Update, 20 days later and still not connected.

Shambolic bullies don't go near them

I wish there was the option for "0" but 1 is the lowest rating I can select.

This company is abysmal. They are bullies and will pole everywhere they can regardless of whether underground ducts exist. They will lie telling you ducts are blocked and cables are direct buried, and that over head cable is the only way to get fibre.

They scare monger the elderly saying their internet will be cut off unless they have new fibre.

Don't let them near your street !!!

Advise to avoid this network supplier!

Installation for service from Squirrel Internet scheduled for 26th July was cancelled due to "tree cutting required" (even though I already have an Openreach fibre connection from the pole opposite my house). No reason to fault Squirrel who are trying their best to get me on board but a warning to anyone else who have to use Full Fibre/ Fibre Heroes as their network supplier. They seem to be less than ideal (in the Worcestershire area at least) as they are yet to respond to enquiries from Squirrel on how to progress my installation and have even ignored two direct emails from me in the last week. Very nervous now about any problems I may have in the future when and if I am ever connected to their network.

Update: contacted yesterday by Squirrel to say that FF have reported difficulty in contacting the owners of the tree (a church). Also learned that FF do not generally talk to end users like myself (an acknowledgment and explanation at least from FF themselves would have been nice though!). I have contacted the church now and details passed via Squirrel to FF. If things now progress smoothly I will revisit this review and up my rating. My faith is Squirrel, however, remains at a solid 100% so I am eager to join their clan.
Final edit: rating remains at 1 star since Squirrel have cancelled my order now as they do not deem the amount of tree cutting required to make my custom viable. Why couldn't they have told me this back in July when they first visited? I will never be tempted by any ISP using Fibre Heroes again. This review is going on their other "Full Fibre" entry too.

The speed provided varies a lot over…

The speed provided varies a lot over the day. Their 900Mbps service mostly operates around 550Mbps and only hits over 700 late into the night. As a network engineer I would say that their network is over subscribed and congested. If this is the case I should be paying for 500Mbps not 900.
These tests are direct from the router so WIFI etc losses are irrelevant. In summary. They do not provide the speeds they advertise. I would say BT have the better backhaul network from experience you get what you pay for.

Although they did not arrive at appointed time they did call to say they were delayed and advised new ETA
We're both professional, polite and got on with the job quickly after explaining the process to me and checking where I wanted cable entering property. Worked cleanly and cleared up when finished. Can highly recommend Leon and Raj and their work and manner.

Utterly awful business with lying employees

Received a letter from Full Fibre telling us they are installing poles in our street. Nobody wants them. The same day the letter arrived, I also had a call from BeFibre, a broadband provider calling to ask me if I was interested in signing up for their services. I asked them where they'd got my details from and they "couldn't tell me".

I checked the BeFibre website and it carries the Full Fibre logo. I then called Full Fibre to ask them why they thought it was appropriate to share my details with their partner business. The guy who answered was pretty rude and condescending and tole me that BeFibre is a partner of Full Fibre's but that the two companies were not connected so he couldn't help and suggested I take the matter up with BeFibre directly. He also took the time to tell me he had a great relationship with "the guys at BeFibre".

I have since checked Companies House and the directors of both businesses are the same people - Kulvinder Plahay and Paul Doyle. Clearly linked, despite the blatant lie I was told.

I've also submitted a subject access request through the ICO to get them to admit that they've shared my details without my consent.

Shambolic company interested only in…

Shambolic company interested only in profiteering. Destroying areas of outstanding natural beauty in their wake. Our village already has FTTP underground to every household, but apparently they can impose monstrous poles outside our homes. Even though petitions have been signed by 100% residents!! Totally unscrupulous company.

Unwanted Poles

Full Fibre Limited proposes to erect poles in my street for broadband connection. I, and neighbours I have spoken to, are against the poles. The company seems to be using a "proxy" called DerbyPoles. We only have an email address - no postal address, no person's name. DerbyPoles no longer answers emails. I have emailed FullFibre but no reply. We have poles in the street but they are not connected to the BT box. A mess. Vicarious liability for Full Fibre?

Full Fibre, we all know what happens when you eat fibre that’s pretty much what you’re getting from these guys

Full Fibre installation of poles in Droitwich has no consideration for the neighbourhood in which they work. Not only do they not notify you of the works but they conduct themselves without any care for the residents. Today my wife was verbally abused by a worker while they decided it was acceptable to block the whole road and access to our property. We don’t even want the poles installed they are an eyesore! And for that to be coupled with the disgraceful behaviour of their contractors pretty much sums up how this company treats people now and will in the future. You try and look to contact these people and unless you need technical support it appears you can’t so clearly they don’t want the feedback. So as a warning to others if you having these near your house expect the contractors to be rude, no one to consider notifying you of the works, extreme noise all day which if you are working from home will be intolerable and to top it all if you need to gain any access to your house expect abuse. Such lovely caring people.

Been reported for fly tipping

This company came to our road 3 weeks ago now and left all their rubbish including a 1.5 wide wooden reel! Who do they think will move this for them!? They rolled it across the road to the grass verge and have left it, it even says on it property of Full Fibre Limited. I have reported them to the council for fly tipping.

Absolutely outstanding company

I don’t even know where to start, because of the rural area of Buxton I live before Full Fibre hero’s came to the rescue I was getting at most 14mbps download !! After 8 months of trying and many complications with blocked ducts/ collapsed ducts missing ducts and no access to properties, finally today I am getting 1000mbps !!
This would not have been possible without the hard work and determination from Andrew Langley !! He really is a credit to the company. Not once did he lie and beat around the bush, he’s been open and honest keeping me up to date with everything. I really wish all company’s were like this one. With all the hassle and issues he’s had to deal with getting me to where I am today he deserves a medal and a gold star !

I really hope management see this review and Andrew Langley gets the pat on the back he truly deserves, I cannot put into words how truly grateful I am of all his determination to get me running on fibre broadband. I’m actually going to miss our weekly phone call !

Full fibre hero’s…. You really are our hero’s !!

Many thanks again

ACCIDENT waiting to happen and Full…

ACCIDENT waiting to happen and Full Fibre DON'T care. CEO PLEASE DO SOMETHING.
Full Fibre have recently installed one of their infrastructure poles at the edge of our driveway such that the pole has materially reduced the splay visibility distance down the hill when trying to join the very busy A38 (At peak 3000 vehicles/hr) near Droitwich. This now makes joining the A38 ( link road to Junc5, M5) even more dangerous due to the high volume of traffic travelling at speeds in excel of 60mph. Their response to the concerns raised by me on behalf of the residents that use this shared drive access is as follows:

Email extract received from Ledbury Poles ( AKA Full Fibre)
Hi Mike,

Thank you for your email and appreciate your frustrations.

However, as stated previously, we have had a supervisor attend site, our HSE manager has seen the location, and the co-ordinates were sent to the local planning authority. All parties have agreed to the current pole location.

Many thanks, Phil"

All parties have NOT agreed the location, and ironically those that haven't, namely the residents are the very same people that Full Fibre are wanting to use their service.

Clearly Full Fibre and their CEO Oliver Helm are putting commercial gain ahead of consumer road safety.

Updated 16 May 2023:
In response to the reply posted by FullFibre, please explain what is meant by:
" We will be taking some more time this week to survey the pole and ensure it is in the least imposing position for where it needs to be".

Updated 16 May 2023:
The issue is not visual impact, its residence and road user safety.
Who is carrying out the survey and when are they intending to visit site?
Against what qualitative and quantitive measures is this survey being measured?
If by saying that the purpose of the survey is to "determine where it can be moved too" then it needs to be set further back into the verge so as to not restrict the splay visibility distance down the hill from our drive access. If that's not possible, then a new site should be found that doesn't impact driver and residences safety. It really is very simple.

Your CEO has stated that "if it's dangerous it will be moved". Well it is dangerous and unsafe so please per your CEO's commitment get the pole moved.

Reply from Full Fibre Limited

Hello Mike, we’re sorry to hear you continue to be frustrated with the location of the new pole, and we appreciate that not all pole sites will be universally popular.

We’d like to take this opportunity to reassure you that we’ve worked hard to design our build with the minimum impact on the local area, including ensuring all pole locations are safe for residents, with limited visual impact.

We will be taking some more time this week to survey the pole and ensure it is in the least imposing position for where it needs to be. I hope you can understand that we are doing everything in our power to have minimal impact on local communities whilst building a significant part of the UK’s digital infrastructure.

Fast internet at last

Fast internet at last! This company is a god send where we live as we've gone from 10mbs (with a main ISP) to 100mbs. Now the whole family are happy!

Installation was impressively quick and painless.

Total scumbags

Money grabbing company that cuts corners and clearly pays money to council's to get contracts.
I have witnessed with my own eyes the unsafe practices of health and safety that this company uses. Employees not wearing correct ppe, no water compression being used when cutting tarmac and no safe, clear walk ways.
At the moment they are working in leominster area herefordshire and even tho the residents of the area don't wish for this service nor for the poles that they are using is a clear sign that the council of that area as been payed off and as turned a blind eye to the work that is taking place and the objections of that areas people because why would the council not talk to the people unless (money).

Where do I start

Where do I start? This company is truly awful they are only after the £. Our neighbourhood is supplied all services underground. Fullfibre chose to use poles with no neighbourhood correspondence. Of our 137 properties we raised within 2 days 101 individual objections. Today we still have no replies. They have no care about visual aspects and certainly using 1960s poles to deliver is not what I'd called 'state of the art'. Their accounts are awful for the size of jobs they are trying to take on and they just cannot cope.

In some areas that we are installing our network we have found that Openreach services are supplied via an out-dated method known as "direct bury". Therefore, these areas had no underground ducting in place that could be utilised to install our FullFibre network. Due to this method the most viable solution was to install telegraph poles rather than traditional civils work which would cause unnecessary disruption across the estate.
