They kept chasing us to work with them and convinced us that they would help us succeed with our Kickstarter.

We paid them for Kickstarter design, newsletter and ads. After payment, funded today went quiet for 2 weeks, and then finally started with the design.

Their first draft was horrible, the second edit round made it even worse. And by that time, we were 6 weeks further! Delays upon delays and lie on a lie, funded today kept us running behind them as soon as we paid.

We hired a freelancer to design the page for us. It took her 4 days and we were ready to launch. If it was not for Funded today. They didn't reply for 1 week, and then told us they would need 3 more weeks before we could go live. 3 more weeks on top of their massive delay already... but we did not have a choice. We paid them, they didn't want to refund us, so we kept waiting.

We launched, finally, 5 weeks ago. After 2 days, funded today totalled us $650. 650 dollars!!!!! That's all these scammers got us! No support, no help, only that our product was not good and they needed to stop their efforts. Hold on, they chased us before we even went live with our campaign, with daily emails from Jordan.

Their scammy sales tactics made us lose 3 months of our time, expenses totalling over $8000 and nothing to show for it.

If you have a dream of launching a successful Kickstarter then DO NOT listen to their stories and do not go overboard when they send you daily emails. They do not have your interests in mind, only their bank account and will drop you as soon as you paid them.

Funded today review is a website created by funded today. Allegedly the best in crowdfunding.

As many others, I got scammed by this agency. They sell a good story and pitch you like no other. Until it comes to delivery and results.

Little over 600 US$ on a 8000 service. Clicks and visits that stayed on our Kickstarter campaign less than 3 seconds. Do I need to say more?

Funded today is a scam. Selling and upselling you, asking for the full payment upfront and then dropping you like nothing.

I hate Funded Today to the core.

Now, take a look at this. This is a screenshot of fb ads for HyperDrive project on Kickstarter.

Its a project on Kickstarter which receive a whooping $1.8 million in fundings.

Now, this is the fun part.

Its listed under Funded Today portfolio. If you guys followed all my posts and went through my 1 years and 7 month crowdfunding marketing research compiled post before, you should know that I once claimed that FT portfolio is nothing but a huge scam.

The method was simple. How can such company went viral in the crowdfunding community and with $3,500-4,000 service fees done so well for the past years.

They carefully pick a successful project on Kickstarter, and offers them to participate on Indiegogo InDemand to allow them to receive more pledges even after the project was done on Kickstarter. The result? Hey! another $1.8 million added to their portfolio! Now now, they never claimed to be the reason behind HyperDrive success. But its added on the portfolio and the total funds collected by their company anyway.

THUS, encouraging others to think that "this company (FT) is legit. we can actually pay them $3,500-4,000 and get results!"

Nah. HyperStarter raised the money due to the publicity it gained from making such product since its interesting, helps to improve Apple products and a hella presentation. Not because how FT spam the market with 3rd rate fb ads. Dont believe me? Check the first image again. 4 comments 3 shares 33 likes. That doesnt bring you 1.8 million. That give you nothing. Much like all the promises FT have for you guys.

Funded today is a massive scam. Taking your money and drop you instantly.

"Funded Today Reviews" is a website created to showcase feedback from crowdfunder creators who hired Funded Today to market their campaigns. The reviews all claim success due to help from Funded Today but checking on the campaigns years later this is not true. Some succeed - most do not.

All projects are archived on Indiegogo/Kickstarter and the campaigns below are advertised on Funded Today Reviews. The site claims to have 1500+ reviews but many appear duplicated or the site randomly loads reviews poorly. I encourage readers to research independently if disagreeing on how the campaigns have been categorized.

**My experience with Funded Today as a crowdfunder for the Spinegym project was poor. By charging a flat fee plus 30% of 2.2M USD raised from crowdfunders - the campaign was unable to finance the product to completion. The campaign author stated the project was too successful raising money which meant Funded Today's cut of total funds increased.
The campaign goal would have paid $15000 but by overshooting Spinegym had to hand over much more and crippled their ability to deliver the product. Spinegym was sold to new owners in April 2020 and crowdfunder orders will not be honored.

Other campaigns point out an upfront fee and % between 15-45% of total funds raised is the cost of hiring Funded Today and ultimately ran out of money. Funded Today claims they market in a way that generates high traffic which equals backers. Checking on the campaigns above, I found Funded Today offered 10% cashback on pledges to the campaign advertised OR refer a friend to get 10%. Other incentives offered prizes including the advertised campaign products. Most of these ads shared on Facebook were employees of Funded Today. I will leave it at that to draw conclusions.

There is almost always the same campaign advertising theme of "World's first blank" a tell-tale sign of a Funded Today project and should be taken as a warning. Some campaigns do succeed but it is very likely a campaign may fail when Funded Today is involved.
