Great Shoe Drive
They called every week to see where we were on collecting shoes and how many bags we had. Very nice people to work with.
Slow on getting a date for pick-up, but to our advantage, we were able to keep collecting shoes!

Easy to report progress
Easy to report progress, when we were not quite ready they waited. The loading of the shoes went well with help from the driver. Would do this again after a year or two.

This is the third fundraiser I've done for student trips. This organization never disappoints! The communication is incredibly efficient and quick, and all the staff are very helpful and prompt to help with anything. Materials get to us on time, and whenever we need more, they send them right away! Jim C has been a gem for the three years we've been doing this. It has been a pleasure!

Donna was an absolute joy to work with. Very informative and helpful. I only wish that we could have met in Cheyenne WY vs Greeley CO. It was quite the drive. If we do this again, hopefully we can arrange a closer pick up.

A great fundraiser
This was not only a great fundraiser, but an awesome way to teach students to serve others. We tied it into our Earth Day curriculum and included information for our community that you all provided about what is saved by not putting shoes into landfills. It was a terrific community outreach, and so many people were able to help.

I absolutely love Funds2Org because their customer service is helpful and efficient. The person assigned to me walked me through the process as well as did weekly follow-up calls to ensure that we were on target and to see if we needed any help. When we experienced a hiccup with receiving our starter package, it was rectified immediately. We doubled our goal of 4000 to 8200 pairs of shoes this year. Great support and great coaching. It was an amazing campaign. Can't wait for next Spring to start again. Folks already know we are doing it every Spring so they are saving shoes for us.

Payout vs. Effort isn't aligned
We didn't receive our supplies in time. Then I asked for a reimbursement and it apparently wasn't allowed to reimburse us, even though its advertised that this fundraiser wouldn't cost us anything. Then the truck picking up our shoes was 2 hours late. We had volunteers standing around for 2 hours. Most left. Lastly, the payout was minimal for the amount of effort involved with collecting the shoes. It was disappointing to know over 8 weeks and countless hours of volunteering, we only earned $1,000 for 118 bags of shoes. We could have had a shoe resale event and made 3x that amount with the shoes donated.

Great people to work with
Great people to work with! My only complaint is the amout that you receive for your nonprofit. You don't realize the amount of work it is to collect shoes, sort them, get rid of all the ones that are donated that are not acceptable, bag them, track them, advertise, remind people, etc. However, in the end ever dollar helps and the best part is you keep a large amount of shoes out of the landfills while helping others.
