Delivery payed for but not received

Delivery payed for but not received, no customer service replies. This used to be an amazing company, but sadly it seems they seem to have declined into a company you can't rely on anymore.

Never received products

Looks like there’s a pattern amongst recent reviews! I have ordered from this company many times over the past few years but I placed an order in February that just never arrived and despite numerous emails I never received any kind of response or refund. So disappointing and frustrating.

Real shame

I have had the same experience as other reviewers with Funky Soaps. It’s a real shame, I have been ordering from this company for many years. I absolutely LOVED their shampoo bars and felt they were the best on the market. I placed a £40 order, which I never received, nor a refund. Feel let down and robbed. Obviously something has happened within the dynamics of the business and I wish them well, but stealing peoples money is not right.
I’ve asked for a refund time and time again, but to no avail. I would still like my money back so I can go elsewhere so I will be contacting Trading Standards but as the company has gone into liquidation, I doubt there's much that can be done.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed - have bought from this company many times over the years. Delivery has always been bit on the slow side (2 - 3 weeks) but I was always happy to wait as I knew it was a small family run business and the products were very nice. My last order from mid May never turned up so emailed over 3 weeks ago with no response. Whatever has gone wrong, it's a real shame nobody could set up a reply - even a generic one - to give some sort of communication/explanation. As it is now it leaves the customer feeling let down and ignored by the company we once thought we were important to.

AVOID ... THEIVES

Did not realise I was among many who have ordered and not received and emails being completely ignored. I ordered at beginning of April and waited a month for delivery .... Had ordered from them once before last year and delivery was slow then so gave them a chance but it was a complete no show this time. Emailed them and they replied and said they had resent but still received nothing. Emailed them again and have never heard anything from them again. Absolutely shocking how much money they have stolen from people, trading standards should investigate!! AVOID!!!

Great products but did not arrive...

I love these products. I ordered, and paid 22nd of May 2024 but have not got my order :-( I also ordered month before and then it was no problem, even got replay by emails and chats. But now there is no answer neither by mails nor in the chat. I hope everything is alright by you? <3 I hope to hear from you, and to get my beloved and paid products <3

Dreadful

Dreadful - 2 orders of around £50 in total - neither delivered. No response from many emails to customer services. I am a returning customer and have no problems before. No better than theft - if you can't fulfill the order at least be honest about it.

AVOID!

Terrible customer service I ordered on…

Terrible customer service I ordered on 18th May, took my money and still not received my order. Sent several emails none answered, so I’ve lost my money now!! Wish I’d of looked it up seems they’ve closed down. Sad as I liked their products! But feel like I’ve been scammed now. Avoid!!

Do not bother with this company

Do not bother with this company. They are thieves and don't know how to run a business. I ordered products a month ago almost £50 worth, nothing so far and they have ignored my emails and refund request.

If I could do 0 stars I would

If I could do 0 stars I would. Ordered mid April, and never received goods. They put out a post in may saying a family member was ill and so things were taking longer than usual. Wish I’d checked reviews first as it looks like this excuse has been going on a while! I do feel for them if they’re ill, but from the looks of things fake tracking numbers have been sent out to people, no replies to emails or messages. Instagram account and website shut down. I shopped from them years ago and never had this issue, so I’m not sure what’s happened. But really disappointed! I understand when things go wrong but we all have stuff we’re going through, and in this climate it’s categorically wrong to let customers pay their money and not issue at least refunds. Really disappointed.

None receipt of goods.

Awful customer service. No response to the 5 emails and messages I have sent. Still waiting for my package after nearly 5 weeks now. Can't imagine I will get my money back either.

AVOID

I had ordered from this company previously about 2 years ago and was pleased with their products, so when I decided to order again at the beginning of May I didn't bother to check Trustpilot. I really wish I had now. I have had no products, no dispatch notes or tracking numbers, and no response at all to the 4 emails I have sent asking for an update or a refund if they are unable to fulfil the order.

Really abysmal service. I didn't use PayPal because I don't have a PayPal account. I'm now out of pocket and have no idea whether I'm likely to ever receive the goods or a refund. I would recommend that anyone reading this avoids using this company. Such a pity because the products were good 2 years ago.

Terrible service

Terrible service - I am still waiting for the goods I ordered at the beginning of April to arrive. They have taken my money but I have nothing to show for it. I was told on two separate occasions the order had been dispatched (so clearly the first of these was a lie), then a generic email saying they were experiencing delays & it would be sent soon - that was two weeks ago & still no sign of it. I have repeatedly asked for a refund but they will not answer that point. Absolutely dreadful & dishonest service - one star is too generous.

Very poor customer service

I ordered goods which did not arrive, this has happened on a few occasions. Despite emailing and phoning regarding non delivery and a Royal Mail tracking number that does not work, I have had no response from the company. I have been a customer for a few years and like the products, but very disappointed with the apparent disregard for any customer service or responsibility for goods purchased and not received. I shall not be ordering any thing in the future.

Amazing!

The slightly longer delivery time due to Brexit and customs etc is of course an issue as we are very spoiled with instant gratification these days. But with that said, totally worth the wait. And that is for orders to the EU, I should add. My 2 schampo bars are not only smelling absolutely divine, they are also really high quality and I am completely in awe that they are able to make something like that by hand. Amazing!

Lately company had issues with slight…

Lately company had issues with slight delays for despatch however products are outstanding quality for very competitive prices. Yes you can find other similar sellers but not with this level of quality products at all. Maybe they could change delivery time on their website in order to avoid negative comments and bad reputation of company.
