Absolutely Appalling Company. We are a Residential Care Home and this mattress was for a resident. Took 6 weeks all together to get a double water proof mattress. Was told twice it was out for delivery, and it wasn't!! Eventually arrived! Tried several times a day to call and was told I would get a call back...NEVER RANG BACK!! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST....

My wife ordered a mattress from this company and omitted to pay for it as she thought it would be easier to pay over the phone. Following day, someone called to take payment then told me they would deliver next day. I stayed in all day. Nothing! I tried to phone. Nothing! They’re called Furniture 247. What does 247 mean? 🤔

I called again next day. This time, someone answered and promised they’d deliver the following day. It did come and we’re satisfied with the mattress. The service could be better. I had nowhere near the problems others seem to have had, just a problem with the “next day” promise failure and the no availability of a seemingly 24/7 company. The mattress is exactly as advertised and is perfect.

If you are worried about ordering from them, and your item costs more than a hundred pounds, then use a credit card instead of a debit card as this offers protection against poor service and products. Personally, I’d give them a chance, as their prices are very reasonable and I CAN vouch for the quality of the mattress.

All in all, I for one, am satisfied with the outcome, despite the delay.

This has been a stressful and awful experience

Ordered Thursday for delivery promised next day delivery on Friday by Tuffnalls

Various emails which Tuffnalls did not recognise

Furniture 247 did not answer the phone or emails at all

Finally arrived on Tuesday

Hope the product is OK because customer service was 0

Just appaling. Same as the rest really. Ordered furniture, they didn't have it in stock. Cancelled order on 25th October n still awaiting refund on 24th December! No replies to calls or emails. Have contacted my bank to see if they can help and reported the company to trading standards.

I ordered a waterproof mattress on Monday 2nd December and said it would be delivered on Wednesday 4th. I waited in all day and it never came. I have been phoning them but just getting fobbed off all the time. Today (Friday) a man said it was coming today and it's still not here. Need to get my money back and go elsewhere. I need this mattress now for my son who has special needs. I just wish I read all these reviews before I ordered

I ordered a waterproof matteress for my disabled son on the 26th nov and it was supposed to be next day delivery but no i got a email to ask for another 30 pound to pay for delivery because it was coming to northern Ireland so i asked if i payed when would it arriveand was told 2days so i waited and am still waiting and i phoned and it is impossible to get to speak to anyone they dont want to answer if ur not looking to buy the girl that i did speak to was a receptionist and said she only took orders and she could'nt help me so she took my name and said she would get someone to call me thats not what she done because im still waiting well ive sent an email requesting my full refund but if i dont hear from them i will be contacting my bank to get it back they are a park of con artist so please dont buy anthing of them i have read lots of people who are in same boat as me but please avoid these people

I am sorry to STILL see bad reviews about this company. I took them to court 3 years ago when they took my money and didn't deliver the bedroom furniture I ordered. We settled out of court but it was a pile of hassle. When they have your stuff in stock, they deliver. When they don't, they put you in the hands of their appalling customer service and make it hard for you to get your money back. Probably just better to find someone reliable to buy from, and have no dealings with them at all.

They don't deliver when they say they will, they don't answer the phone, they don't respond to emails. Spend your money somewhere else, this company is shockingly bad.

Ordered an incontinence divan for my son who has additional needs and disabilities and is going through treatments too...The bed was delivered before the date they gave me..I had plenty of notice..the guys that delivered were polite and friendly....were on time too.
Cant thank the firm enough for getting the bed to us so quickly aa my son had been on a mattress on the floor.

Ordered a mattress for delivery in two days. Have now waited a whole week and still no sign of delivery. Contacted the bank to get my money back. Have called there offices and nobody answers. A big con keep well away from this company !!!!!!!

I urge anyone not to order from this site! The service and customer care is so bad, that I cannot even put this into words! They are so unprofessional. I ordered a mattress which we was advised that it would be delivered on a weds, we did not get a confirmation about the delivery until the Thursday morning, advising that this would be delivered on the Thursday afternoon. So far, not only have we not received the mattress, but after calling 8 times, not one person has got back to us about this, including XDP the delivery company, I have now contacted my bank to try and recover the money. PLEASE PLEASE - take your business else where!

Had a wardrobe delivered with damage to the inside door hinges which left the doors unsafe. I emailed with photos within an hour of delivery (once I had chance to unpack) I had no reply, after 3 weeks I phoned to be told someone would call me back the following day. Nobody phoned so I called a week later to be told there nothing that can be done due to the fact that I signed for the item which states no damage. When I explained the damage was on the Inside (as photos show) I was told, ‘so what you signed for it’ Extremely poor service considering I paid a lot of money for the product. Please don’t buy form this armature company. I will be seeking further advice.

FURNITURE 247 is completely unprofessional. Never answer the phones and when they do, they never return calls. I don't think there is a manager because he or she never calls, probably because they are inundated with calls because of how terrible their business is.

I'm still waiting for a bed to be collected from last year. Appalling business.

Attempted to purchase a dining table from this company (was referred to these by my home insurance for a replacement). After I made the purchase on a weekend, the next working day I was emailed to say the item was discontinued, (why still advertise it then?) it was offered an alternative, this was nothing like the original. I politely declined the alternative as wasn’t suitable and asked for a refund. My email was ignored, I sent 2 others over a period of 10days and made several calls. Sales were saying it’s an aftersales issue & vise versa, it got to the point my phone calls were just getting rejected. Fortunately I had paid on a MasterCard and have been able to recover the cost of £400 through the fraud and disputes department of my bank. DO NOT USE THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY.

After reading some of the reviews I decided to put a review on as my experience with the company wasn't as bad as some others luckily .Waterproof mattress was delivered 6 days after I ordered it and the duvet 9 days after .I did contact the company when my order was not delivered on the day stated when I placed the order and I was phoned back later that day and I was told my order was on its way and what days they would be delivered on and they did arrive on those days .The quality of the mattress was good but unfortunately as it has a removable cover it was not suitable for use for my disabled son as he can remove it too easily and access the foam ,so not suitable at all .I have since been recommended a company called( Tough Furniture ) so will try them in future.

If there was a minus star this company would receive several, I ordered a bed for my son who has complex learning disabilities still waiting for delivery, no customer service, you get to speak to Barry who is useless beyond a joke, no response from emails or calls dreadful company I’m now waiting for a refund and by reading the other reviews I’m not holding my breath 😡 I’m only going to give them 7 days then of to the bailiff to get money back please avoid This company but I very much doubt that any reviews will appear on their website
