The Furniture Clinic has some lovely staff who I chatted to online before I purchased. They did advise me that they could not guarantee whether or not the fabric paint would adhere but I decided that it was worth a try. The paint is very easy to work with and went on well. I was attempting to recolour a helm cover that I made for our boat. It was originally dark blue and faded to a pale bluish grey. I have applied one coat and it has taken, sort of. It’s a bit of a greenish blue but I’m hoping further applications will blue it up a bit. I was warned but I went ahead anyway. I will update after further coats and hopefully give the last star. I wanted to give 5 but since it hasn’t yet done what I wanted, I thought it would not allow for improvement.

So easy to use. I'm transforming a very outdated 1980s bed with flowery upholstery, the paint is covering well, and although the pattern remains visible, it's got rid of the 1980s pink and floral look.
