My wife and I called into your branch today and was welcomed by Mr Kira Chim who is one the most courteous, polite and professional salespersons we have met in our many, many years of shopping worldwide. The sofa we came to view unfortunately did not meet our requirements and we are sorry we did not give him a sale. However we know where we will be shopping in the future if we require any items of furniture you advertise that meet our needs.

Friendly staff who were attentive but not too much so. Greeted us on arrival and discussed the sofa we were viewing then left us to browse but checked in to see if we needed any help. Informative but not pushy.

Marks Pitt was very helpful and polite. He showed and explained to us all the options, but most importantly he didn't follow us around pressuring us with a full on sales pitch, thanks Mr and Mrs Farrell

Walked into the store having a look around for a 2 seater & 3 seater was approached by a very good salesman very knowledgeable on all that we liked must have been looking around for over an hour, he never put us under pressure, so we left for a chat and went to DFS had a good look around but there was nothing to compare to what you had. So went back to see Mark the salesman what a nice man, within 10 minutes he had a sale , we have bought a lot from you over the last 30 years so thanks furniture village and a big thanks to Mark

We came in to look for a new sofa with my Grandfather.
Ali Hamza was fantastic, really caring and considerate of my Grandfather's needs.
He helped us with all our queries, explained how everything worked and what would work best.
We came away with a sofa in the colour and material we wanted. The whole process was seamless.

Just wanted to say that the service we received at the Reading Branch of Furniture Village was outstanding, we were looked after so well by Yemi.
Yemi totally made us feel at ease, put no pressure on us and gave us plenty of useful advice, helping us to choose our perfect sofas. The coffee and freshly baked cookies was a nice touch.
We certainly picked the right store to choose our sofas!

I had a fantastic experience with Marky at the Reading store when purchasing a dining table with chairs. From the moment I arrived, he was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful.

Moving into my first home as an owner and I have a dimensional challenge with the living room which meant that I had to work with a certain specification, lead time, and delivery capacity with being in a flat with an awkward staircase.

Initially I approached a sales person who I felt was dismissive of my needs and asked me to look around and then approach them with any items I liked and then they would be able to advise if it came in modular. I was perplexed by this as I didn’t have much time and didn’t want to flag sofas which would then not be available in the modular style. I also felt a little invisible as I was a woman, on her own, and felt they were seeking a different type of client? Family or couple or male with spending power? Who knows!

I then approached Mohsin Khan, he was able to stand by my side, provide options, specifications, lead times which met my criteria. I placed an order in probably 30 mins and was confident in his recommendation and the final choice.

Counting down the 5 weeks til delivery and I can put the sun lounger away 😂

Great value sofa and really helpful salesman in the Reading Forbury store. Tom & Chris delivered my sofa, were super friendly, unpacked and built the sofa - and took the time to explain everything to me. They'd noticed some marks, took photos and advised a technician would be booked in to come and clean the sofa. As promised, the technician is booked in for next week. Can't fault the experience, only lost a star because of said marks.

The assistant spent a lot if time with us and was very knowledgeable. He was there when we wanted him and not in the way. He listened to what we needed and helped us choose the right matress for the right price. Very happy so long as it comes when promised. 8 to 10 weeks seems to be the norm from anywhere. Slightly disappointed that disposal of old mattress is not included or available.
