Appalling Company

I strongly suggest that no one buy from Gadget Grotto. They make it impossible for you to query, cancel or get a refund on an existing order. Trading Standards were informed after my last wrangle with them.

Fantastic!

I ordered my item mid afternoon on 20th Dec and even though the website site said that i had missed the cut off date for the xmas delivery it arrived on 22nd Dec - Amazing! My son was thrilled as he had seen we had missed the cut off date.

Excellent helicopter, easy to fly!

Got the "gyroflyer" on Christmas day. Good price and quick delivery. Great little helicopter. Much better quality than one I got a coupe of years ago. Well worth the money.

You may get what you ordered if you're very patient!

I ordered and paid for three Genie Head Massagers. I received just one. I immediately e-mailed Gadget Grotto informing them that two Genie Head Massagers are missing but i've not received a response . The head massager I received is in a broken carton, making it unfit to give as a gift.

11th January
The two missing Genie Head Massagers arrived today, in good condition and packed well so I've decided to upgrade my review.

Expensive 'gift wrap' not worth it

I opted for my purchase to be gift wrapped for an extra £5 (which I thought was very pricey) and it was very badly wrapped, with gaps in the paper - looked awful, waste of money. No apology after a complaint.

Terrible

Ordered 2 items on 12/12/12 for Christmas expecting that would be plenty of time, obviously not, still not received these - no communication from Gadget Grotto to advise what is happening, despite the money being taken immediately out of my account. These were Christmas presents that have obviously not been given, which defeats the point of buying these.

Brilliant, quick service.

Ordered an item (late) for Christmas and was told it wouldn't arrive until January - it turned up the following day after ordering!!! Very impressed.

Never even received the item we had paid for. Left messages and emails had no reply

I would never buy from this company again. We made the order on the 16th December and paid, also paid express delivery to have the item delivered in 1-2 days. After three days when the item had not arrived, we tried to contact by phone and email. Just get recorded message on the phone saying leave message. Which we did.. four of them over a number of days. No-one ever returned our calls. We also emailed but again had no response. Basically this company have just taken our money without receiving any goods. Stay clear of them!!

Hopeless

I paid for the item through paypal and they said they would let me know when the item had been dispatched and haven't heard or recieved a thing since!! The money has been taken from my bank account and then I was asked to fill in a satisfaction survey!! Great customer service, con more like!!

Great Product , Price and fast delivery!

Ordered a Sphero for my sons Christmas. Found Gadget Grotto on Top Cashback so after reading the reviews knew that the company was reputable. The price was very fair (cheapest I could find after cash back) delivery was quick and the parcel arrived well packaged.
Would recommend Gadget Grotto.

Great service - lack of communication

Thought service and product was brilliant and very quick - however would have preferred e-mails telling me exactly when I could expect my delivery. However, my delicate item was very well packaged and overall a good experience.

Excellent product and service!!

I had ordered the Guinness mug from a different store but it arrived wrapped in paper and broken. So I ordered it from Gadget Grotto and it arrived the next day wrapped in lots of bubble wrap and in a box!! Will definitely order from gadget grotto again in the future!!!!

No problem with goods - great communication

Item ordered Monday, email on Tuesday saying issue with delivery so it's been upgraded to ensure arrival before Xmas - arrived Friday. No problems and well communicated at all times. Would use again.

I've still not received my purchases I ordered 18th of December it's now Xmas day!!!!!

I ordered my merchandise on the 18th of December it's Christmas Day and I've still not received anything, I'm so angry and disappointed I've had to explain to family and friends that I'm still waiting for the delivery, which means I had nothing to give to them, gadget grotto has my money but I have not even one of the things I've ordered, I've still had no email about them either, and if I'm correct they were advertising for delivery on the 20th still, if they could not fulfill there obligation considering they took my money they should of at least sent me a email to let me know, then I could have got my stuff elsewhere instead of sitting here cringing with no gifts to give to my friends or family, so all that said no I don't rate them at all!!!!

Crap , pointless and useless . Would never use them again

Did not deliver as they said they would. Tried to communicate with site but impossible. Did not reply to emails. All in all , useless .
