Avoid
The sales person is rude and patronising. Despite this (assuming he was having a bad day) we ordered £1400worth of conservatory blinds.
They are poorly made, not even hung straight.
Please avoid these cowboys. They're overpriced and do not deserve your business.
Amazing service
I rang Galaxy blinds at 9:15 on a Saturday morning to enquire if they could make me a set of vertical blinds for my bathroom. Having told them the details I was delighted to be told they would make them up for me that morning. By 10:45 I had the blinds at a very reasonable price. Please be aware of this man and his company (Galaxy Window blinds & Shutters) We ordered shutters and blinds in July 2024. Matthew came out, measured and said he could deliver on the shutters in 8 - 10 weeks. We thought this was great as everyone else we got out was 10 - 12 weeks. It’s now 18 weeks down the line and all we have is 4 blinds. Matthew has £2475 of our money and is now ignoring us completely. We are now going to have to start fighting to get our money back if he continues to ignore us.
We thought this was a reliable, trustworthy company. DO NOT USE!

Purchased perfect fit blinds for Holiday home back end of last year, it recently came to light then when we opened the windows, the latches scratched the framing of the blinds themselves, after contacting Galaxy blinds of the issue, they immediately resolved the issue with no questions asked by replacing the damaged frames and fitting spacers to raise all handles to prevent future incident, totally impressed with the quality of the service as well as the product, would certainly recommend, thanks again Galaxy Blinds
Disrespectful behavior
I am extremely disappointed and upset with this Galaxyblinds company.
i had an 08:30 appointment for installation with them, at about 08:40 a guy calls me saying he is stuck in traffic but he is on the way. I said i will accommodate them and wait for them ,they got here at about 09:23 , at 09:55 i told them i am going into a meeting from 10:00 to 10:30 then i will be with them after.
at 10:20 the guy start opening my bedroom saying he wants to go, he has another appointment and cant wait for my meeting to finish . i was in a meeting. I couldn't respond to him.
he close my door and started opening my bedrooms and searching all around my house for the gate remote until he found it and off they went while i was still in the meeting. Leaving my house door open and my gate open.
Who gives a man a right to open my bedroom and go around searching my house. I DONT KNOW THIS MAN , I AM SEEING HIM 1ST TIME,THE NERVE TO GET IN MY BEDROOMS.
What if criminals came in my house while my gate was left open and my house door.

I would not use this company they left a massive mess in my house, fitted a broken blind and the staff are rude.
No mess, no hassle
I ordered Roman Blinds from Galaxy. The service has been great from start to finish. Neil came out to measure almost straight away and the blinds were ready really quick. The two young chaps that fitted the blinds were polite and efficient. No mess, no hassle. The blinds are really good quality and they look lovely. I would certainly recommend Galaxy to my friends and family. Thank you!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY DISGRACEFUL
I had a venetian door blind fitted less than two weeks ago and I wasn't happy with the fitting, as when I raised the blind I had 6ft of excess cord trailing on my floor.
I rang and asked for the fitter to come back out to have a look at it.
Apart from being spoken to in disgraceful, shocking manner the guy who answered the phone started shouting at me.
There was no way he was going to send him out, he said when you raise the blind you will have all this excess cord you will have tie it up.
I said what over 6 foot of it !
I explained I have had Venetian door blinds before and this has never happened.
The guy replied and how many years ago was that !
I said not that long and anyway I want him to come and have a look, he was shouting and slammed the phone down on me
Disgraceful customer service, he should be ashamed of himself.
I rang back and a very pleasant young lady answered the phone, she just repeated what he had said.
So beware there is NO AFTER SALES SERVICE with this company.
They are happy to take your money and then that’s it.
I told her I was going to put this review on the website, so I suggest this man reads it, calms down and realises he can’t treat or speak to customers like that.
I must add I waited over 6 weeks for one blind and the quality of the blind isn't that good either, I have had better.
By the way I wouldn't give it one star

Once again excellent customer service from a lovely lady who made all arrangements from start to finish. Mum is so pleased with the quality and fit off all the blinds, well worth the wait especially in these covid-19 times, don't be put off by the time scale as you will be pleased with the results. Excellent service with exact fitting…
Excellent service with exact fitting for the drop down blinds and the velux black out curtains.
Had a minor issue with the hooks after a few months and the whole set was replaced free of charge! Would recommend as very cost effective and professional service.

Ammended this myself, however the pulleys have been changed twice as the quality is very poor (doesn't run smoothly at all). Nothing they can do so now stuck with them. A good deal isn't always a good deal!!

Curtains Over Blinds
A few months ago we had 11 roller blinds installed by Galaxy Blinds, based in St Helens, after arranging and receiving a quotation visit.
Upon paying a deposit, we were left without an install date. After waiting several weeks, my wife was left no choice but to phone Galaxy Blinds in hope of arranging one.
When the install date came,We were happy wit the quality of the blinds (although you do pay for this, so that was to be expected). However, we were not happy with 2 of the 4 blinds that were installed in the front bay window. They didn't completely cover the window, allowing people to see into our living room when closed. To us, this defeated the object of having blinds installed.
We phoned galaxy to explain our dissatisfaction. To their credit, they sent out the same installer that originally installed the blinds. Unfortunately, he was only interested in defending his workmanship, rather than solving our problem. The only solution given was to install curtains.
This limitation of their blinds or installation process was not disclosed to us during the quotation visit, no alternatives were offered either. Again, during the installation, this limitation was not pointed out and thus no solutions were offered.
Galaxy Blinds have many happy customers willing to offer testimonials on their site. They also have positive reviews elsewhere, I just wish we had been among them. You've left us with a bad case of buyers remorse Galaxy Blinds.
Which leaves me no choice but to offer the same advice to others as was offered up to us by Galaxy Blinds . If Galaxy Blinds is your only option, save yourself the money and just install curtains.
