Mint condition preused game.. works as normal as a new game... no code on the game anyway and got it fir half price of it brand new!!!! Winner winner chicken dinner
Polite and friendly staff. Interacted with my young daughter throughout the transaction without being brisk or rude.
Went in to purchase some pre-owned games. Staff were very helpful at picking games out and recommending similar title that I might enjoy.
The staff were very helpful and patient with me. I traded in my PS5 for an Xbox with them and at first it wasn’t up to standard but I went back near closing time with my PS5 in better condition and they sorted my consoles out. Thank you for your help
The worst company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
It's hard to put into words how terrible Game are, but I'll try.
I decided I wanted an Xbox and Microsoft and Game were promoting their "Xbox All Access", a 24 month 0% deal with the Xbox console and 2 years of game pass with Klarna.
I completed the credit agreement with Klarna no problem. They gave me a QR code, it was a simple matter of going into a Game store with my ID and the QR code to collect the Xbox, or at least that's the theory.
I went on the Game website and there was no facility to check store stock levels on the "Xbox All Access" application process. If you go on the page just for the Xbox series S, there is a box to check stock levels, but it doesn't work.
Anyway, I decided to risk it and travel the 1 hour to my nearest Game store at Chesterfield, on the off chance they had stock - I mean the Xbox has been out a couple of years now they should be readily available.
I got to the Chesterfield store and was in luck, they had Xbox's in stock.
As soon as the guy in the store heard that I'd done the "Xbox All Access" pass with Klarna, he started dragging his heals. He goes in a draw and drags out a tablet and slams it down on the counter, huffs then walks out the back to get the Xbox.
He has a few half-assed attempts to fill in my details and process my purchase, all the while making it pretty obvious with his manner and demeanor, that he wasn't happy about me taking an Xbox for some strange reason.
Then the guy the goes "sorry mate it wont scan"
I ask him what he means, he says "it wont scan, the tablet wont scan the serial number off the barcode"
So I suggest he tries manually entering the serial number, which he reluctantly tries doing, apparently the tablet didn't accept the number.
So I suggest getting a different Xbox from out the back of the store and trying that, so the guy reluctantly stomps off (all of about 15 feet) to get another Xbox. He tries scanning the next Xbox and says "Sorry mate it wont scan, what do you want me to do about it?"
And he sent me away empty handed.
I've now got a 2 year credit agreement for an Xbox and no way to collect the console from my local store.
So I managed to contact Game customer services, to see if they would contact the Chesterfield store to see if the problem could be resolved.
After a pointless conversation with the customer service person, who just gave me the option to cancel, and had no interest in helping me get the Xbox I'm paying for, and just said "Unfortunately we would not be able to assist further, as this is an in-store process that has to be completed on a store till system. We can only assist with cancellations."
So here I am. Game are advertising this package on their website, but when you get instore they have no interest in fulfilling your order. It's a joke - this whole company is a joke.
Their stores apparently don't have phones! Game don't have a twitter account, their Facebook page is locked down so you can't post on it - it's pretty obvious they don't want to communicate with their customers, or more importantly they don't want their customers have a public voice. I had to hunt deep into their website to finally find a way to actually contact them.

Great pre-order experience. I ordered online to collect in store, and was kept informed by email with the order progress. The store was very helpful too and answered all of my questions, including sorting out a minor issue with a code for a bonus item. The only confusing part is having to pay a delivery charge even for store collection, but this comes with a voucher for the cost of the delivery toward a future purchase which seems fair.
Chesterfield branch always have great customer service skills.
Check out guy was very rude, waited until I purchased 2 packs of cards, asked what I was after with a smirk, knowing the exact card was a popular one everyone was after, then laughed & said well you can't get it in those & he turned round laughing with his mate, will not be going back to GAME Chesterfield after this
