Disappointment.
I was a bit disappointed with showing at Game. I was looking to buy Xbox console for my son for Christmas. The local Game shop was out of stock. I have to order online. Shop assistant recommended Fraser plus app and possibility to spread cost between three payments. Fraser plus app didn't work due to some sort of error. I payed full prise. I also wanted to add damage protection for this item. From staff, I heard that only purchases in the shop can add insurance. I got a bit upset as I could easily buy it in Argos or a y other store and spread payment as well as add protection cover.
After me questioning the staff in the store , they said that I can bring the items to the store ( I also bought a steering wheel for Xbox), and they will let me purchase protection cover for both. I am very disappointed. I was close to return the products and buy again in Argos.

No refund policy on all purchases
It was only after i had paid for a phone I was informed they have no refund policy on all goods. Can only get in-store credit.

I was signed up to add for gaming site that I do not want. I am very annoyed about this I was debited £3 in the store . It was not explained and they don’t answer the phone

The people at my local game are always knowledgeable fast and friendly service is always great
Poor connection and customer service
I purchased an hour of gaming for each of my three sons in the BELONG store. The connection was rubbish. They complained and they left after half an hour as they were unable to play properly. I was denied a refund. Unacceptable

Andrew the manager
I met andrew the manager, who talked to me (a paying customer) like i was trash. He was very rude and condecending. I was paying for the gaming arena services at the time. I never went back since. Plus the other teams cheat and get away with it. I now preffer to shop at other stores for my gaming gear and merch and refuse to go back to game. This happened 11/06/2019. On the following week 18/06/2019 andrew was in store and was staring at me very aggressively as i had made a complaint about how he treated me.

The price on the label l did not match…
The price on the label l did not match the price charged. My son mentioned this and they said they could not change it. I mentioned it and they said the same. I said it was unlawful
to advertise the wrong price. They said the price 9nbthe label was not important. Untrustful and unprofessional shop. Possibly illegal.

They are breaking the law
Shop anywhere else. If you buy online they wont fight you over a refund. If you buy instore and the product is defective they will refuse to refund you and openly break the law as this is against the CSA 2015. Thier defence is "our policy" lets see your CEO tell that to a judge.
As for the games/software they openly open the cases and break the seals on the products and call it new however when you return the product in the same condition you got it it in order to make sure it works you have to open it to find this problem. You guessed it "our policy" says its opend and our seal is broken so we can only give you £20 quid credit for that because its a used game. However that game was £70 yesterday when you got it.
They are the worst group that i have had the misfortune of doing business with and am in the process of taking them to court.
Just get it anywhere else, or if you have to get it online at least then you have less push back when things go wrong. They will do ANYTHING to make sure that they dont give you what is rightfully yours. Your own money back.
