Refused refund on accessories to faulty product.
I purchased an xbox elite controller core edition (£103.99) and the accessory pack (£49.99) from Huntingdon Game on the 11th of June. This controller was faulty with the a button, I exchanged this for another controller on the morning of the 12th of June. I took it home and that controller had the exact same issue.
I then returned to the store, no more than 1 hour later and asked for a refund. They refunded the controller, however the (very nice) assistant manager contacted the store manager who said that the accessory pack cannot be refunded. I then asked if I could at least have store credit as what am I going to do with a £49.99 accessory pack for a controller I no longer own. The store manager informed the assistant that they would not even do that.
The fair thing to do would have been to refund me. However, they would not. I would suggest that under the consumer rights act the accessory pack is not fit for purpose if the accompanying controller is faulty. I will just be charging this back through the credit card company if game don't treat their customers fairly.
