GAME - Milton Keynes Reviews 22

I went to your game store in Milton Keynes to buy a playstation 5 slim and a xbox series X and some pokemon cards a copy of starwars outlaws on both consoles and a extra controller for both and headset yesterday at roughly 19.30 I'd just finished work but had been out on my break to get the cash out for this as they were birthday presents I have arrived at the store to hear them tell a customer that he could not purchase a game and they were not accepting cash because they had cashed up EARLY (he even stated he had the cash exactly to pay for the item)
now this didn't help me as I was unable to pay cash for the items I had come for as seen as they had turned him away they would do the same to me ....
Why have a store open if they are going to cash up early before they close ?
My transaction was worth a lot to your company and I would have been told I was unable to pay cash ?
This is not okay and I do not agree with this if your staff want to get home early close the shop earlier and don't pay them as they are not doing the job they are paid for.
Also I don't understand how their can be two staff members and no tills that accept cash....

as far as I am aware companies DO not pay staff members to loose sales and cash up tills early.

Friendly staff and informative, even looked up an issue with a game I was buying to inform me about it.

I took back to GAME the Watford Store, in Sports Direct, a headset that was faulty, it had snapped while using it for the intended purpose! I was refused help because the manager was not there. Phoned MANY times on the number given, it NEVER picked up!! Took Headset back to Milton Keynes GAME store. The manager said he wouldn’t help, even though I explained the situation, he refused to allow a replacement or refund. I told him it was unfair and I would complain, he shrugged his shoulders and said “ Go on then” Complete lack of customer care or service, I left the store feeling very sad and frustrated!! I will NEVER go in to that store again to buy for the kids. They have lost my custom for life! I think they are breaking the law here for not replacing an item that is not fit for purpose - SHAME ON YOU GAME

Fairy cheap pre owned games with 3-2 deal👍shame that they are stopping pre owned......will become a toy shop than a game shop 😑

Knowledgeable & friendly staff. Not had any issues. I normally pop into the shop when nearby to have a look at what they have. My son loves it there. He’d could spend hours looking at all the gaming stuff. Always clean, tidy and pleasant shopping experience.

We went to the gaming room at the Milton Keynes shopping centre and paid for 60 minutes for my two sons. After ten minutes of the machines needing updates, waiting for things to install and other glitches, I got a refund and we left.

Great experience with Game. Ordered via their website and my item was ready within 2 days for click and collect. Quick and seamless process!

Walked in told and waited till a staff member was free I think told them I was looking at purchasing a console to get told to wait a moment and then he doesn’t come back for 10 mins I go and ask another colleague and said about the guy who said wait and apparently he had finished for the day and left.

We had a lovely interaction with Robert at the Till. He was very charismatic, very helpful and explained everything we needed to know, 11/10. I hope he’s there next time we’re of need of GAME :) thank you Robert.

Came in with the kids to spend their pocket/birthday money. Lots of choice at good prices. My son also loved chatting with the friendly sales assistant about Pokemon. We've been to the store a few times and it is always a highlight of our shopping trips.

Quickly and professionally, without any problems, I picked up the ordered item. I was offered to check the product - whether it was correct - after which my thing was repacked in a handy bag.

U know what...I wish all staff in other retailers were like the staff in game, they were so helpful so lovely to get happy staff and staff that know what there talking about. Its a nice calm relaxed place. Great experience.
