If I could give 0 stars I would! Tried to buy Splatoon 3 in our local store using a GAME gift card as part payment. Was informed that the new till system would not accept the gift card as payment (!) and that I could order it online instead. When I looked into ordering the item online it was an additional £4.99 which I was unwilling to pay, as didn't see why I should foot the bill because their systems are not up to the job. I contacted GAME to raise the issue of their new tills not accepting gift cards and a week later was sent a code to obtain free postage. A week later the item had not arrived. Despite repeated emails to the team at GAME, they were slow to chase it up and keep to their own suggested deadlines. On chasing it up again today I have been informed that it has now been deemed 'lost in transit' (someone from Evri has obviously pocketed it!). I originally tried to buy the item on 9th December and it was supposed to be a Christmas present for my son. Overall, very poor service and will be avoiding purchasing from GAME in the future. Have ordered the item from another provider, for the same price, with delivery to our local supermarket arriving tomorrow. Now, that's service!
Well, I didn't think it could get any worse but they have only refunded me £35 of my original £39.99 order! Plus they have given me back a gift card that I can't use in store! Will be taking this up with Which. AVOID!
